Description
Miroir rotatif

Rotating mirror
The present invention relates to a rotary mirror intended in particular for use in dentistry. Its purpose is to create a mirror, in particular for inspecting teeth, which has the advantage of not being covered with mist when exposed to the breath of a patient.
This mirror is characterized in that it comprises a reflecting plate mounted coaxially on a turbine in an enclosure capable of being traversed by an air current.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the mirror forming the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a side elevational view thereof partially cut away.
Fig. 2 is a partial view in axial section.
The mirror shown comprises a handle 1 pierced with an axial duct 2 capable of being traversed by a stream of compressed air. The duct 2 opens into a circular enclosure 3 in the axis of which is mounted a turbine 4 integral with a coaxial reflecting blade 5 and mounted on an axis 6 whose free end engages in a bearing 7.
One or more orifices 8 made in the wall of the enclosure 3 allow the air supplied by the duct 2 to escape after having driven the turbine 4 which, in turn, communicates a rotary movement to the reflecting plate 5.
CLAIM
Rotary mirror characterized in that it comprises a reflecting plate mounted coaxially on a turbine in an enclosure capable of being traversed by an air current.
SUB-CLAIM
Mirror according to claim, characterized in that it comprises a sleeve pierced with an axial duct opening into said enclosure and capable of being traversed by a current of compressed air.
