The present invention relates to an electrically controlled winding installation of a closing curtain of a bay, characterized in that it comprises an electric motor with direction of rotation reversible by inversion of the supply current, a reduction gear train between one of the ends of the motor shaft and a ring gear with internal teeth of a rotating tubular casing,
a friction drive device between said casing and a roller for winding the curtain and a brake disc wedged on the other end of the motor shaft opposite a fixed rotating plate, but movable axially under the action of an electromagnet.
The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment, given by way of example, of the installation which is the subject of the invention, the single figure being an elevational view in axial section.
The installation according to the embodiment shown comprises an electric motor M, with a reversible direction of rotation, the reversibility being obtained by reversing its supply current. The frame of the M engine is housed in. a cylindrical sleeve 1, to which said carcass is fixed, said sleeve also being fixed at one of its ends to a casing C containing a train of demulti-folding gears. The motor M, the sleeve 1 and the casing C, located at one of the ends of the apparatus, are housed in a drum T for winding the curtain, not shown in the drawing.
The casing C comprises a part 2, of generally cylindrical shape, provided with cavities for housing the gears and forming supports for the bearings of said gears, other bearings. being arranged in a bottom 3 opposite the part in contact with the frame of the motor M. The bottom 3 is fixed, for example by screws, to the part 2.
On the shaft 5 of the motor M is fixed a pinion 6, meshing with a wheel 7, said wheel being fixed on a shaft, one of the bearings of which is carried by the part 2, the other bearing being carried by the bottom 3 On the shaft of the wheel 7 is wedged a pinion 8 attached to said wheel, said pinion being engaged with a wheel 9 fixed on a shaft 11, one of the bearings of which is carried by the bottom 3 and the other , by a flange 12 housed in the central cavity 13 of the part 2.
The shaft 11 also carries a pinion 10- attached to the wheel 9, said pinion, meshing with a wheel 14 rotating freely on an axis 15, said axis journaling in a bearing carried by the base 3. The idler wheel 14 meshes with the internal teeth 16 of a rotary ring 18, said ring being mounted so as to be able to rotate on a bearing surface 17 of the part 2 forming a journal.
The motor M drives the rotating ring gear 18 at a very low speed via the triple reduction gear train 6-7, 8-9 and 10-14-16, said ring gear being fixed, for example by welding, by means of . screw or similar members, at one of its ends to a tubular casing 19, the other end of said casing being connected to the winding drum T of the curtain by means of a friction drive as will be described below -after.
On the end of the drum T is fixed a bevel gear 20 meshing with a pinion 22 mounted on a tubular rod 21, said rod being actuated at its free end by a crank, not shown in the drawing, this transmission being intended for the manual operation of the curtain, in the usual manner.
The angle wheel 20 is mounted on a pivot 24 coaxial with the shaft 5 'of the motor, said pivot being integral with a flange 25 fixed to its periphery, for example by welding, rivets or the like, to the end of sleeve 1 opposite to that comprising part 2.
The flange 25 forms with the end of the casing of the motor a chamber in which is housed a brake intended to prevent the motor and, consequently, the toothed ring 18 and the tubular casing 19 from rotating when the current is on. interrupted.
For this purpose, a disc 26, fixed on the end of the shaft 5 'of the motor M, is placed in front of a friction plate 27 mounted on guide rods 28, said rods being fixed by a thread in the flange 25. Thus, the plate 27 can slide parallel to said axis without being able to turn around the latter. Each of the rods 28 is surrounded by a spring 29.
coil, said springs being intended to push the plate 27 against the disk 26 of the motor M, so as to engage with each other and immobilize the casing 19 and, consequently, the drum T for winding the curtain , said clutch being effected independently of the operations of raising and lowering of the curtain carried out by the motor.
The plate 27 constitutes the movable armature of an electromagnet, the core and the winding of which are represented schematically by 30 and 31 respectively in the figure of the drawing. The winding 31 of the electromagnet is mounted in series or bypass on the supply circuit of the motor M, so that when the motor is started for controlling the curtain in. one direction or the other, the electromagnet attracts the plate 27, which has the effect of separating it from the disc 26 and allowing the motor to rotate without being braked.
As described above, the motor rotates the tubular casing 19. At the end of this casing is fixed a ring 19a, the periphery of which is in sliding contact with a flange 33 fixed to the end of the drum. T, the bevel wheel 20 being fixed to the outer face of the flange 33. A crown 32, of cylindrical shape, mounted on the pivot 24 of the flange 25 and rotating freely on said pivot, bears at its periphery against the inner wall of the ring 19a.
The crown 32 comprises radial recesses of cylindrical shape, such as the recess 38, in each of which is housed a slide 39, for example made of fiber, said slide being pressed, by means of a coil spring 40. , against the inner wall of the ring 19a, so as to be driven in rotation, by friction against said ring.
A pin 34, housed in a recess of the angle wheel 20, is capable of entering a hole 35 of the crown 32. When the motor rotates with the casing 19 and the ring 19a, the crown 32 is driven by friction. and in turn drives the curtain winding drum T by the coupling of the crown 32 with the wheel 20 through the pin 34. In the case where a resistance to winding or unwinding the curtain occurs, the friction clutch allows the engine to continue running, thus preventing damage.
The peg 34 has a groove into which penetrates a flexible blade 36 intended to pull said peg out of the hole 35, which has the effect of loosing the crown 32 of the wheel 20. For this purpose, a counter-blade 36 ', folded in the form of Z, is fixed on the blade 36, the free branch of said counter-blade being located near the end 41 ', in the form of a point, of a central rod 41 intended to slide inside tube 21.
When the drum T is actuated by the motor M, the rod 41 is pushed inside the tube 21 by a coil spring 42 surrounding the rod, so that the tip 41 'of this rod is out of contact with the counter. -blade 36 '. To actuate the curtain by hand, the rod 41 is pushed out of its housing until its tip 41 'comes into contact with the counter-blade 36' and deflects it towards the right of the figure, said deviation being intended to release the pin 34 from the hole 35 of the crown 32, the separation of said crown allowing the curtain to be maneuvered without driving the motor,
this drive can not moreover not occur because of the large multiplication of the gear train.
This hand control is intended in particular to replace the electrical control in the event of immobilization of the motor for any reason, of a clutch or abnormal resistance of the curtain during its winding and unwinding on the drum. T.
