Passenger cable car system In the case of passenger cable cars that lead to great heights, it has been observed that people interested in driving forego riding because they fear that the changing air pressure will cause them complaints. More people step back because they already know for sure that their own constitution cannot adapt to a rapid change in altitude.
The invention makes it possible for people to travel from the valley station to the mountain station and enter the lounge there without being exposed to a change in air pressure; Rather, the passengers can be during the journey, when getting out of the cabin, on the way to the lounges of the mountain station, which are expediently designed as viewing rooms, and in these, as well as on their way back, under constant air pressure.
According to the invention, the cabins and the lounges of the mountain station, as well as a connecting space between the cabin and the lounges of the mountain station formed when the cabin is driven into the mountain station, are set up so that in all these rooms an air pressure higher than atmospheric pressure at mountain station height is produced and can be maintained.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the cabin with hangers in vertical section of the aerial cable car system, Fig. 2 shows the cabin in horizontal section with a view from above, Fig. 3 shows the mountain station with .in this retracted cabin in plan.
The egg-shaped cabin 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is constructed so as to be resistant to air pressure and has a vertical space 2, which is arranged in the center of the cabin and penetrates the cabin, around which the passenger room of the cabin is built. The room 2 is provided as an emergency exit and can be closed airtightly against the passenger accommodation area of the cabin and to the outside and can thus be used as an air lock if the cabin 1 is in distress on the route and it should be necessary for the passengers to get out.
In this case, the room 2 can be entered from the receiving room through the door 3 and exited through the flap 4 attached to the cabin floor or the flap 5 attached to the cabin roof. The air pressure in the passenger reception room and in room 2, which must be kept at the atmospheric pressure of the valley station at all times, is monitored by devices (not shown) with which the cabin is equipped, which compensate for a loss of air pressure when the cabin is traveling to the mountain station by adding the required compressed air to the Cabin carried containers 6 is removed.
An air pressure lock formed with the cabin and formed as an air pressure lock, consisting of the respective platform space and the space 12, serves as access to the recreation room 11 of the mountain station, which is kept at mountain station height by appropriate means under higher internal pressure than atmospheric pressure from the cabin retracted into this the connecting room. The room 12 is divided into the aisles 14, 15 and closed to the outside against the separate platforms 18, 19 through the doors 16, 17. In front of the platforms is room 20 with the control stand 21.
If a car 1 z. B. arrived at platform 19. is, are holding arms 22, the men on the frame of the entrance opening of the platform. have their fulcrum, placed in eyelets on the outer wall of the car 1 and thereby pull the car 1 firmly against the entrance opening of the platform. At the end of the inlet opening frame to the subordinate sealing tube 23 is inflated and because of an air pressure seal of the now ge formed platform space 19 and the Personenauf receiving space of the car 1 pulled against the outside air.
Now the platform space 19 is supplied by means provided for this in the mountain station compressed air and a higher internal air pressure than the pressure of the outside air, as it is constantly maintained in the intermediate space, Herge provides. The car doors 24 and the connecting door 17 can then be easily opened. The arriving passengers move out of the car 1 in the direction of arrow 25 through the platform space 19 and the aisle 15 to the lounge 11.
The departing passengers, who have meanwhile gathered in aisle 14, go, as soon as the lock 26 attached to the better orderly, is removed, via the path according to arrow 27 into car 1. The car doors 24 are closed and from locked inside. The door 17 is also closed again ge. The air pressure in the platform space 19 is then reduced until it is adjusted to the outside atmosphere. At the same time, the air is released from the sealing hose 23, and the holding arms 22 are released from the eyes of the cabin 1; the car 1 can then depart. The next car arrives at platform 18.
All mentioned e.g. B. electrically or by compressed air executable operations are controlled from the control station 21; the shift lever or the like provided in the latter are locked against each other to ensure the correct sequence of operations, and the implementation of these operations takes little time.
