Agricultural tractors Agricultural tractors have so far generally been designed without an actual chassis frame. The axles are usually provided unsprung on the engine-transmission block that forms a structural unit. This design is sufficient for the previously common use of the vehicle as a tractor in the field and on the road. The invention, however, based on the latest findings, the task of creating a vehicle that enables the functions of a tractor, equipment carrier, truck and means of transport to combine in itself.
It should be possible, please include this vehicle to develop a speed almost equivalent to a truck, for which it must have a sprung frame and must be equipped with all-wheel drive to achieve good off-road mobility and particularly high draw hook performance.
The width of this vehicle frame cannot exceed a certain maximum, which is due to the track width defined by standardization and the required, as small as possible turning radius and the required wheel sizes. This relatively narrow shape of the frame causes considerable difficulties for the designer in accommodating all the components required for such a universal device (driver's cab, cargo box, fuel tank, battery box, spare wheel, etc.).
The invention now proposes a particularly suitable way to solve this problem, the essence of which is that the engine-transmission block is arranged eccentrically to the longitudinal center line of the frame within the chassis frame and that the coupling organs for the drive mechanism of this block Axes are arranged so that the coupling elements for the front axle are to the side and for the rear axle at the rear end of the block and that they are both equally spaced from the longitudinal center line of the frame on the one hand and both equally spaced from their associated ones on the other Have axes.
The advantage of this structural arrangement is that the axles and their drive mechanism can be conveniently coupled to the engine-gearbox block even when the engine-gearbox block is housed within a relatively narrow frame and that they are of completely identical design, especially for the front and rear axles and dimension can be used. They can be interchangeably the same from the coupling point on the block to the flange carrying the wheel bearings or steering. This design enables efficient production and is also very advantageous for the storage of spare parts and for repairs.
The proposed design also makes it possible to align the drive shaft of the rear axle with the main shaft of the motor and transmission and thereby drive the rear axle in direct gear (fast transport) without losses due to intermediate drives.
If, finally, it is also provided that the lateral coupling elements for the front axle are located underneath the frame and that a second lateral drive element for a front and rear PTO shaft located at least approximately in the frame space is arranged above them on the engine-transmission block it is possible to keep the power take-offs, which are essential for a farm tractor, out of the space above the frame. This allows the space between the frame and the cargo bed to be kept free for tractors with a cargo box to accommodate other parts, for example the spare wheel.
On the outside of the frame, z. B. the battery box on the one hand and the fuel tank on the other.
Fig. 1 shows a side view of the Ackerschlep pers omitting the one lateral vehicle part along the line A -B of FIG. 2, the engine parts including axles being drawn out thicker.
Fi, 2 shows the associated top view with removed and only in its outlines indicated structure. In Fig. 3, the same view as in Fig. 1 is reproduced, but this time the frame men and those built on him or on him placed parts are drawn out thick, and the frame is no longer shown in section.
FIG. 4 is the top view associated with FIG. 3, again with the structure omitted.
The frame of the vehicle consists of the longitudinal spars 1 and the transverse spars 2 including the front bumper 3. Both the front axle 4 and the rear axle 5 carry this frame 1, 2 via suspensions not ge. On the end flanges 6 of the front and rear axles 4 and 5, the same mountings for the four driven wheels 7 on the front and rear axles are attached, with special steering elements 8 being interposed between the front and rear wheels. These steering elements are actuated by the steering wheel 10 via the steering column 9.
Within the frame 1, 2, the motor-gearbox block composed of the motor 11 and the clutch and transmission housing 12 is so gela gert that its main axis is laterally offset by the amount a to the longitudinal center axis of the frame 1, 2. At the rear end of the block is located at 13 only indicated by a circle and located in the main axis of the block coupling member 13 for the thrust tube 14 of the rear axle 5. With 15 is a rubber sleeve.
Laterally from the engine block protrudes from this another coupling point 16, so far that it is by the same amount a as the coupling point 13, but on the other side away from the longitudinal center axis of the frame. From this coupling point 16 is' driven by the thrust pipe 17, the front axle. The corresponding rubber sleeve is labeled 18.
The position of the coupling points 13 and 16 is selected so that the distance between the rear coupling point 13 and the rear axle 5 is the same as that of the lateral coupling point 16 from the front axle 4 (compare mass b in FIG. 1). With this position of the coupling points, the front and rear axles, including the thrust tube and rubber sleeve up to the flange 6, can be designed identically and even interchanged.
As can be seen in FIG. 1, the lateral coupling point 16 lies below the frame plane. Above this coupling point, another lateral drive means 19 emerges from the gear block, to which the front and rear PTO shafts 20 and 21 are connected via flexural joints. They each end in a PTO shaft stub 22 or 23 mounted on the cross members. The PTO shafts 20 and 21 are at least approximately within the frame 1, 2.
On the other side of the gear block 12, a shaft 28 intended for placing a belt pulley with the housing surrounding it protrudes.
The structure is only indicated by its outlines and consists of the driver's seat 24 with driver's cab 25 and a cargo platform 26 with walls 27 that can be folded away.
3 and 4 it can be seen how, with the selected arrangement of the engine in relation to the frame, the space left free between the wheels 7 on the one hand and between the frame 1, 2 and the cargo bed 26 on the other hand can be utilized. On both sides of the frame, a fuel container 31 on one side and a battery box 32 on the other side are attached to the longitudinal spars 1 on console-like supports 29 and 30. Between the frame 1 and the load platform 26, a spare wheel 33 is inserted from the side.
