Bracelet time counter The object of the present invention is a bracelet time counter, comprising a rotating graduated bezel and two control members serving, one for winding the mainspring, for starting the hand. counter and at its stop, and the other at zeroing this needle.
This counter is characterized by the fact that the two aforementioned bodies are located on the left side for the circumference of the counter when one looks normally at the latter and by the fact that it has on the opposite side a crown making it possible to temporarily immobilize the bezel. .
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2, a section through II-II of fig. 1.
The embodiment shown comprises a caseband 1 provided with handles 2 for the bracelet 3. On this caseband is fixed the caseback 4 and can freely rotate a bezel 5 carrying the crystal 6 and the flange 7 has a graduation 8 with reference 9. Inside the caseband is mounted the movement 10, the dial 11 of which bears a graduation 12.
On the side of the periphery of the meter which, when viewed normally, is turned to the left, are arranged two control elements. One, 13, when turned in the desired direction, winds the mainspring; when it is pushed in for the first time, it turns on the seconds hand 14 of the counter and that, 15, for minutes and when it is pushed in a second time, it stops these hands. The other member is a pusher 16 provided with an actuating head 17 and which, when pressed, serves to reset the two needles above. It can slide in a cylindrical projection 18 driven into the middle part and the outer circumference of which is threaded and carries a nut 19.
This can be applied against the head of the pusher to immobilize the latter and prevent an untimely reset to zero.
On the side opposite to that where the control members 13 and 16 are located, there is a screw 20 engaged in a thread of the middle part and terminating on the outside with a head 21; . This is extended on the side of the middle part by a circular bearing surface 22 which, when the screw is fully tightened, comes to rest partly against the middle part and partly against the bezel, momentarily immobilizing the latter.
The crown 21, which is very flat, protrudes little from the periphery of the counter and, thus, is sheltered from involuntary actuation due, for example, to a shock on the hand. As for the members 13 and 16, they are protected against the same drawback because they are on the side of the elbow. The graduation 12 goes up in the dextrorsal direction while the graduation 8 increases in the opposite direction. It is therefore possible to read simultaneously on the marker 9 the time which must still elapse to complete a predetermined period and that which has already elapsed.
