Motor transmission blocks, especially for small automobiles The motor transmission blocks for the small cars that have recently come onto the market are mostly made from motorcycle engine parts. By arranging the various shafts accordingly, it has been possible to keep the size small, which also results in low weight ratios.
One of these known types already shows an arrangement in which the drive connection from the crankshaft to a countershaft is made with the interposition of a pair of gears. The gear set seated on the intermediate shaft is connected to a corresponding gear set of the main transmission shaft, and from here the transmission to the wheel drive shaft with the off equal gear takes place through a wheel fixed on this shaft. Depending on the coupling of the individual wheel groups with a shaft, a corresponding transmission ratio is switched on. In this type of execution, however, there are at least three tooth engagements.
The invention now relates to an engine gear block, in particular for small automobiles, in which the differential is net angeord inside the block, and consists in that the drive connection between the crankshaft and differential gear of the gear of the direct gear on the main gear shaft directly to the Drive wheel of the balancing gear takes place. As a result, only two tooth interventions are necessary in the direct gear, which is the actual operating gear. There are therefore fewer losses and, at the same time, the gears can be brought into the corresponding operating gear backlash better than three working gears. A greater smoothness of running is therefore guaranteed without increasing the number of parts.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in two figures.
Fig. 1 is a section on the line A-B of Fig. 2; FIG. 2 shows the section perpendicular thereto along the line C -D in FIG. 1.
The engine crankshaft 1 is connected to the gear 3 on the main transmission shaft 5 by means of the gear 2 that is firmly seated on it. The gear wheel 3 is loosely supported on the main gear shaft 5 and is connected to the main gear shaft 5 via the clutch 4. In the illustrated embodiment, four gears 6, 7, 8 and 9 sit on this. The wheel 6 is firmly connected to the main transmission shaft 5, while the two wheels 7 and 9 can each be coupled to the main transmission shaft 5 by shifting the wheel 8 accordingly.
Par allel to the main gear shaft is the countershaft 10, on the corresponding mating gears to the gears 6 and 9 are arranged, which mating gears also run loose or gekop pelt with their countershaft in a known manner. The shaft 11, which is also arranged parallel thereto, is the shaft for the reverse gear.
In all four gears, the gear 9 belonging specifically to the direct gear rotates at the speed corresponding to the gear engaged in each case. According to the invention, the transmission of the frictional connection from this gear 9 has therefore been carried out directly to the gear 12. The gear 12 drives the two joints 14 and 14 'via the arranged in the interior of the engine transmission block, seated in the housing 13 differential gear, the power transmission then takes place on the wheel shafts 15 and 15' of the rear wheels.
