Injection syringe with cylinder ampoule
The present invention relates to an injection syringe with a cylinder ampoule from which an injection liquid is expelled with the aid of a stopper serving as a piston. Such syringes are already known, but have the disadvantage that they require a separate handle part for their handling, which is screwed onto the ampoule.
The invention aims above all to simplify the known injection syringes and to increase their readiness for use.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment shown in longitudinal section in the drawing.
FIG. 1 shows a cylinder ampoule designed according to the invention and FIG. 2 shows an associated stamp in longitudinal section. A cap 3 closing the neck 2 of the same can be applied to a cylindrical ampoule made of plastic or glass. The wide opening 4 of the ampoule is closed by an elastically designed stopper 5 which acts as a piston and into which a plunger according to FIG. 2 can be inserted. The neck 2 of the ampoule also carries the known unit cone 6 for placing the injection needle. The end cap 3 closes and seals the ampoule 1.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the injection needle belonging to the ampoule 1 is inserted in a separate sleeve 8 which carries a closure cap 9. The latter holds the cone 10 of the needle 7 against a shoulder 11 arranged in the sleeve, on which a flange 12 provided on the cone 10 rests.
After removing the closure cap 9 from the sleeve 8, the injection needle is exposed and after removing the cap 3 from the ampoule 1 it can be attached to the latter. The sleeve 8 withdrawn from the injection needle is now inserted into the closure plug 5. The syringe is then ready for use and is handled by finger rests that are known per se and attached to the ampoule
13 is facilitated.
This structural design ensures complete sterility when shipping and handling the syringe according to the invention. The proposed measures also allow the most suitable needle for the case in question to be placed on the ampoule in a manner known per se. What is also achieved is that the packaging volume of the syringe is significantly reduced compared to known syringes. The syringe itself can be thrown away after use or reused after re-sterilization and refilling.
PATENT CLAIM
Injection syringe with cylinder ampoule on which an injection needle can be attached and from which the injection liquid is expelled with the help of a stopper serving as a piston, characterized in that the ampoule has a neck that can be closed with a cap, and that the needle is in a protective cover designed as Stamp for the stopper set up and separated from the ampoule sleeve is housed.
SUBCLAIMS
1. Syringe according to claim, characterized in that the ampoule is equipped with finger rests.
2. Syringe according to claim and dependent claim 1, characterized in that the sleeve receiving the injection needle has a closure cap which holds a flange provided on the cone of the needle against a shoulder arranged in the sleeve.
