Description
Batterie de bain La présente invention a pour objet une batterie de bain, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un corps à l'une des extrémités duquel se trouve un dispositif de raccordement à un tuyau de douche flexible, ce dispositif comprenant une tige creuse fixe commu niquant avec l'intérieur dudit corps et une pièce montée tournante sur cette tige, à laquelle est fixée l'une des extrémités du tuyau de douche flexible, la communication existant en permanence entre l'inté rieur dé la tige creuse et ce tuyau grâce à des trous radiaux de cette tige, disposés de façon telle que,
dans toutes les positions de la pièce tournante autour de la tige, au moins l'un des trous se trouve en regard d'un passage ménagé dans la pièce tournante.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la batterie objet de l'inven tion.
La fig. 1 en est une vue de face.
La fig. 2 est une coupe, à plus grande échelle, d'un. détail représenté à la fig. 1.
La batterie de bain représentée est du type pré sentant un régulateur thermostatique permettant d'obtenir instantanément de l'eau à la température voulue par mélange d'eau froide et d'eau chaude.
La batterie comprend un corps 1 relié par un raccord 2 à une source d'eau froide et par un rac cord 3 à une source d'eau chaude. Un robinet 4 permet de régler le débit d'une douche dont le tuyau flexible 5 est monté à une extrémité du corps 1 par un dispositif de raccordement 6 qui sera décrit plus bas. Un robinet 7 permet de régler le débit d'eau dans un conduit 8 débouchant au-dessus d'une bai gnoire, par exemple. Les organes permettant de régler le mélange d'eau froide et d'eau chaude et d'assurer la température désirée sont connus et ne sont pas décrits ici. On détermine la température du mélange par un bouton 9 de commande du régula teur thermostatique.
Le dispositif de raccordement 6 comprend une tige creuse fixe 10 communiquant avec l'intérieur dudit corps et une pièce 11 montée tournante sur cette tige. Une extrémité du tuyau flexible 5 est fixée à cette pièce 11 par une bague de raccord 12. Des trous radiaux 13 ménagés dans la tige 10 assu rent la communication permanente entre l'intérieur de la tige creuse 10 et le tuyau 5, du fait que, dans toutes les positions de la pièce tournante autour de la tige 10, au moins l'un des trous 13 se trouve en regard d'un passage 14 ménagé dans la pièce tour nante 11.
La tige creuse 10 présente deux gorges annulaires 15 et 16 pratiquées de part et d'autre de la région dans laquelle sont pratiqués les trous radiaux 13, un joint annulaire 17 étant disposé dans chacune de ces gorges et coopérant avec la paroi d'un alésage cylindrique 18 de la pièce tournante 11, pour assurer l'étanchéité entre cette pièce et la tige creuse.
La batterie décrite permet d'utiliser la douche dans n'importe quelle position de la pièce tournante 11, les trous 13 étant suffisamment rapprochés les uns des autres pour que l'intérieur de la pièce creuse 10 soit toujours en communication avec le tuyau flexible 5.

The bath battery shown is of the type having a thermostatic regulator making it possible to instantly obtain water at the desired temperature by mixing cold water and hot water.
The battery comprises a body 1 connected by a connector 2 to a cold water source and by a connector 3 to a hot water source. A valve 4 makes it possible to adjust the flow rate of a shower, the flexible pipe 5 of which is mounted at one end of the body 1 by a connection device 6 which will be described below. A tap 7 makes it possible to regulate the flow of water in a conduit 8 opening above a bathtub, for example. The devices making it possible to adjust the mixture of cold water and hot water and to ensure the desired temperature are known and are not described here. The temperature of the mixture is determined by a control knob 9 of the thermostatic regulator.
The connecting device 6 comprises a fixed hollow rod 10 communicating with the interior of said body and a part 11 mounted to rotate on this rod. One end of the flexible pipe 5 is fixed to this part 11 by a connecting ring 12. Radial holes 13 formed in the rod 10 ensure permanent communication between the interior of the hollow rod 10 and the pipe 5, because , in all the positions of the rotating part around the rod 10, at least one of the holes 13 is located opposite a passage 14 made in the rotating part 11.
The hollow rod 10 has two annular grooves 15 and 16 formed on either side of the region in which the radial holes 13 are formed, an annular seal 17 being disposed in each of these grooves and cooperating with the wall of a bore cylindrical 18 of the rotating part 11, to ensure the seal between this part and the hollow rod.
The battery described allows the shower to be used in any position of the rotating part 11, the holes 13 being sufficiently close to each other so that the interior of the hollow part 10 is always in communication with the flexible pipe 5. .
