Vera wendet man z.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Shock-absorbing bearing for watch parts The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing bearing for watch parts, in which the part intended to receive the pin of a watch part is surrounded and supported by at least one ring made of rubber-elastic material, the shocks being dampened exclusively by the elasticity of this material .
Such bearings are known, but are unsatisfactory because of the behavior of the rubber-elastic material previously used. Vera is used z. B. rubber, the bearing no longer works properly after a short time, because the rubber dries up and cracks. You can't see the thermoplastic materials either, because they are unstable, shrink, harden and swell.
The present invention seeks to remedy these disadvantages and has a shock-absorbing bearing of the type mentioned above as its object, which is characterized in that Isocyanate addition.
The material known under the protected brand name Vulkollan, which can be processed by pressing and casting, can be used as an elastic homogeneous substance based on polyester-isocyanate addition. This material has the following properties: a) It loses its elasticity with aging; do not; b) it does not shrink or warp with aging; c) it is insensitive to Ö.1, petrol and other cleaning agents; d) it has no influence on oil; e) it has excellent abrasion resistance.
Thanks to the advantageous properties of Vulkollan listed above, the bearing described below works safely and properly and has a long service life.
Thanks to the fact that this bearing has neither a spring nor conical guides, it is easy to manufacture and the watch repairer's job is made easier.
The drawing shows, for example, two embodiments of the bearing according to the invention. 1 is an axial section through the first example and FIG. 2 is a corresponding section through the second embodiment.
The bearing shown in FIG. 1 has a perforated stone 1 forming the radial bearing part and a cap stone 2 forming the thrust bearing part, which two stones are housed in a bearing body 3 which is attached to the work plate or a bridge of the clockwork in a manner not shown.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The perforated stone 1, which rests on the bottom of a recess 4 of the bearing body 3, is freely inserted in a metallic holder 5 and held in the axial direction by a shoulder 6 of the holder 5. The cap stone 2 is inserted freely in a recess 7 of the mount 5.
The socket 5 has a groove 8 on its circumference, in which a ring 9 made of Vulkollan is housed, the outer edge of which is located. the wall of the recess 4 is in contact. The ring 9 is preferably slightly compressed during assembly. A second ring 10 made of Vulkollan lies in the recess 4 above the ring 9, so that its free edge is elastically supported at the bottom on the upper end face of the cap stone 2. The ring 10 is also preferably somewhat deformed during assembly.
A metal disk 11 secures the ring 10 on the side facing away from the cap stone 2. The disk 11 lies partly in a groove. 12 of the bearing body 3. A device not shown, known per se, of the bayonet lock type, holds the Seheibe 11 in place.
When a radial impact is exerted on the shaft 13 of the part to be supported, the perforated stone 1 moves with it. the socket 5 laterally, and the shock is dampened solely thanks to the elasticity of the ring 9. In the case of an axial shock, e.g. B. from bottom to top in Fig. 1, the cap stone 2 is raised and deforms the ring 10, which so dampens the shock.
In the example of FIG. 2, two separate sockets 14, 15 are provided for the perforated stone and the cap stone 2. As in the first example, the perforated brick 1 rests on the bottom of the recess 4 of the bearing body 3 and is held axially by a shoulder 6 ′ of the holder 14. The cap stone 2 rests on the upper end face of the mount 14 and is held in the axial direction by a shoulder 16 of the mount 15.
The socket 14 has a groove 8 'on its circumference, into which a ring 9' made of Vulkollan is inserted, the outer edge of which is in contact with the wall 4. The version 15 has. also a groove on its circumference. 17 'into which a ring 10' made of Vulkollan is inserted, the outer edge of which is in contact with the wall 1.8 of the bearing body. This wall 18 has a larger diameter over the ring 9 'than the opening 19 of the bearing body 3, and the second ring 10' is brought into place by moving it so far. deformed until it can go through the narrower opening 19. The rings 9 'and 10' are thus somewhat deformed during their assembly.
In the event of a radial impact, the perforated stone 1 moves laterally, and the impact is dampened by the ring 9 '. In the event of an axial impact, the cap stone 2 is raised and the impact is dampened by the edge 10'.
The stones 1 and 2 could of course also by metal parts or by a roller bearing, for. B. a ball bearing to be replaced.
