Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>
 Timepiece with automatic winding by rotating mass The object of the present invention is a timepiece with automatic winding by rotating mass. This part is characterized by the fact that its box comprises a bottom-cap in which the movement is fixed and that the rotating mass is arranged between the bottom of the cap and this movement, its axis being supported, on the one hand, in said background and, on the other hand, in said movement.

  The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention, by a single figure which is an axial section thereof.

  The timepiece shown is a wristwatch comprising a bottom-cap 1, that is to say a bottom whose edge extends over the height of the caseband, a square 2 and a crystal 3 whose edge is clamped between a projection 4 of the bottom-cap and an outer ring 5. 6 is the movement fixed to the casing frame 7, which rests on a shoulder 8 of the bottom-cap.

  The winding mass 9 is fixed to a shaft 10 rotating in a first bearing 11 carried by the bottom of the cap and in a second bearing 12 carried by a movement bridge. At its periphery, it is supported by rollers 13 (which could be replaced by balls) which move on the raceway 14 formed on the bottom.

     Because the movement 6 is fixed to the casing frame 7, the position of which relative to the base 1 is determined with precision, the relative position of the two bearings 11 and 12 is also fixed so that the mass can be mounted without clearance, which would not be the case if the case included an ordinary back added after the fact (by notch or no screw for example) to the caseband.

  Of course, the invention is not limited to what is shown in the drawing, in particular, the mass "could rotate around a fixed axis mounted on one side in the base and on the other in movement.

  The mass, instead of winding only the mainspring of the movement, could also wind the mainspring of an alarm clock ringing.

CLAIM Self-winding timepiece by rotating mass, characterized by the fact that its case includes a base-cap in which <Desc / Clms Page number 2> the movement is fixed, and that the rotating mass is disposed between the bottom of the cap and this movement, its axis being supported, on the one hand, in said bottom and, on the other hand, in said movement. SUB-CLAIM Timepiece according to claim, characterized in that said mass rotates in two bearings, one carried by the bottom and the other by the movement.
