Kardanachsantrieb for electric rail vehicles The present invention has .Ein Kar- danachsantrieb for electric rail vehicles to the subject, in which one end of a hollow drive motor shaft is connected by means of a detachable toothed coupling held together by screws with a coupling flange of a cardan joint, which the driving force of the Motor transmits to a hollow motor shaft penetrating Kar danwelle.
In Fig. 4 of the drawing of the main patent, such a drive is shown. If you wanted to arrange the gear boxes in a two-axle bogie with two individual motors for whatever reason on the same longitudinal side, i.e. in the direction of travel, you were previously forced to provide a so-called left-handed and a right-handed motor. This made manufacturing and storage more expensive and, due to the fact that they were not interchangeable, also made it difficult to maintain the bogies.
These disadvantages no longer adhere to the cardan drive according to the invention. For this purpose, it is proposed that the opposite end of the motor shaft called the coupling flange also be provided with the same type of toothing, like the motor shaft end that is verbun with the coupling flange.
Thanks to this measure you have it in hand to connect the coupling flange of the cardan joint either with one or the other end of the hollow motor shaft, and it can therefore be 2. Always use two identical motors in one bogie. The direction of rotation only needs to be changed for one of the two motors, which is possible with the motors commonly used in railway operations by simply swapping certain connections.
The drawing shows in Fig. 1 an exemplary embodiment of the invention in section and in Fig. 2 a plan view of a bogie les, equipped with two Kardanachsantrie-, ben according to the invention.
A shaft 1 of a motor 6 used for driving is at 8 in turn by an easily detachable serrated coupling - the structure of which is shown in Fig. 1 to 3 of the main patent -. with a coupling flange 2 of a cardan joint 3 connected. In the hollow shaft 1, several of the coupling flange 2 penetrating screws are screwed (not visible in the drawing), which countries from falling apart from the prong coupling. From the universal joint 3, a Kar danwelle 7 leads to a further universal joint 3 ', which communicates the rotational movement to a gear 5 of the gearbox 4. So far the arrangement is known.
The toothing 9 attached to the free end of the hollow weave is new and has exactly the same shape and size as the toothing on the other end of the shaft.
Fig. 2 illustrates the practical advantage of such an additional toothing. There are two motors of exactly the same design on a central support 11 of a bogie frame 10 attached. This means that, viewed in the longitudinal direction, the collector is on the left in one motor and right in the other motor. The coupling flanges 2 of the cardan joints 3 are therefore connected to the hollow shaft end on different sides of the same in the case of the motors, which is possible thanks to the provision of a toothing on both sides of the hollow shafts. The other parts, such as cardan shafts 7, Kar dangelenke 3 'and gear boxes 4 are the same as in FIG. 1.
A rigid or abgefe-modified mechanical connection 12 between the gear boxes 4 and the bogie frame absorbs the torques occurring on the gear boxes.
