Description

Apparatus for mixing determined proportions of materials The present invention relates to an apparatus for mixing determined proportions of materials comprising a receptacle with at least two compartments, each containing one of the materials and each having a tubing of ejection, the latter being arranged side by side, and an expulsion device acting simultaneously in all the compartments so as to cause them to deliver, at each of them, quantities of materials proportional to their respective capacity.

This apparatus is characterized in that at least one of said ejection pipes is provided with an evacuation shut-off device.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, three embodiments of the object of the present invention, with variants.

Fig. 1 is an axial sectional view of a first embodiment and of a variant. Fig. 2 is an axial section of a second embodiment and of a variant. Fig. 3 is an axial section of a third embodiment and of a variant.

Figs. 1, 2 and 3 represent, in axial section, the lower part 1 of the device and its ejection pipes 2 and 3.

The shut-off devices shown in FIG. 1 are constituted by exhaust valves of conventional form, which can be moved in a housing 4 against the action of a spring 5 by the material expelled from compartments 6 and 7 of the apparatus. The ejection pipes 2 and 3 have their duct oriented in the axis of the housings 4 at the lower end of which they are screwed.

The shut-off devices shown in FIG. 2 consist of elastic sleeves 8 mounted on the frustoconical surface of the ejection tubes 2 and 3 around which they are fixed by means of a flange 9 at their upper end.

The end part 10 of the duct of the ejection pipe 11, arranged in the extension of the compartments 6 and 7 of the device, is arranged at right angles to the latter so that the material expelled from said compartments 6 and 7 of the apparatus causes the separation of a part of the sleeves 8 from the frustoconical surface of the ejection tubes 2 and 3, the expelled material thus flowing between the truncated conical surface of each of said tubes and the sleeve which l 'surrounded. The tubing 3 of FIG. 2 is also provided with a leaf spring 12 ensuring the sealed application on the end orifice 10 of the duct 11 of the tubing of the part of the sleeve 8 which covers it.

The shut-off devices shown in FIG. 3 are similar to those shown in FIG. 2, but comprise two pieces 9 or a rigid sleeve 13 ensuring the sealingly fixing of the ends of the elastic sleeve 8 on the frustoconical surface of the ejection pipes 2 and 3. The duct 11 of the ejection pipe comprises a terminal branch 10 mounted at right angles to the latter, like the duct of the pipes shown in FIG. 2.

The ejection tubes shown in fig. 3 include this in addition, at their terminal end, a duct 14 coaxial with duct 11, provided with a branch at right angles 15 arranged parallel to the branch 10 of duct 11, so that the material expelled by the em branch 10 of the duct 11 in the space between the internal face of the sleeve 8 and the external face of the pipes 2 and 3 can be taken up by the branch 15 of the duct 14 in order to be ejected by the latter.

It can be seen that the rigid frustoconical sleeve 13 mounted on the elastic sleeve 8 surrounding the tube 3 has a notch 16 at the height of the branches 10 and 15 of the conduits 11 and 14 so as to allow a separation of the elastic membrane 8 and the passage of the material expelled through the branch 10, into the branch 15 of said conduits 11 and 14.
