Fig. 2 ist eine Ansicht eines Kennzeich nungsmittels.

Process for the production of identification means consisting at least partially of plastic, test equipment for carrying out the process and those produced by the process
Identification means
Plastic seals with an embossed mark and flexible fastening element are known. They do not always meet desirable aesthetic requirements.
On the other hand, in the case of metal seals, it is known to use printed insert washers and to border them into the edge of the metal capsule.
The shape of this metal capsule is limited. In the case of these metal capsules, the insert disk must always be completely curled around. because the insert disc can easily be removed from the capsule if the binding is incomplete, which contradicts the principle of security.
The subject matter of the present invention is a method for the production of at least partially made of plastic marking means, such as seals, seals, badges and the like, which is marked by the fact that at least one flat mark provided with characters or symbols. carrier and a flexible fastening element is united in a spraying operation by a plastic compound to form a marking means connecting these parts and, after the spraying process has ended, the sprue is pressed in the spraying device.
The pressing device for carrying out the method with means for injecting the plastic is characterized in that the mold is designed to receive at least one flat body to be surrounded by plastic, has an axially drilled through, moving in a cylinder plunger, in the bore of which a axially displaceable nozzle needle is arranged in order to press off the sprue after the end of the injection molding process, and so that the feed cylinder and the press cylinder are surrounded by a heating device.
The marking means produced according to the method according to the invention is characterized in that the areal e no-number carrier is framed on the circumference by a bead-shaped band made of plastic and enclosed in a non-shifting manner and the flexible fastening element penetrates the bead-shaped edge and is held in place by it.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the pressing device according to the invention and, for example, embodiments of the marking means.
Fig. I shows a section through the pressing device.
Fig. 2 is a view of a marker.
Fig. 3 shows a section through a characterization means with a safety pin.
Fig. 4 is. a section through the marking means along the line IV-IV in FIG.
FIG. 5 shows a section through the belt section, enlarged compared to FIG. 4.
FIG. 6 is a section through an embodiment that differs from FIG. 5
The pressing device consists of a frame 1 with a pressing cylinder 2 attached to it, which opens into a nozzle 3. The press cylinder 2 is surrounded by a heating jacket 4. A feed cylinder 5, which is also partially surrounded by the heating jacket 4, is placed on the press cylinder 2.
The feed cylinder 5 has a filling funnel 6 and a feed piston 7. In the press cylinder 2 there is arranged a press piston 8 which is designed to be axially movable. The piston has a bore 10 in which a needle 11 is guided, which reaches up to the nozzle 3 and can be pushed through it. The piston 8 has. Finally, a recess 13 through which the plastic compound gets into the press cylinder. The piston 8 can be rotated by means of the wheel body 9, so that the recess 13 can be closed so that the feed cylinder 5 can be shut off.
The press mold 1 is attached to the nozzle 3, in which the injected plastic solidifies in the desired shape to form a seal 15 and thereby unites with the printed disc 16. By inserting a fastening element, for example a cord or a tape, into the mold, this is also connected to the plastic edge.
The mode of operation of this press device, shown only schematically, is as follows:
The plastic delivered in any form is filled as a dry product into the filling funnel and passes through the funnel into the feed cylinder. Here it is melted by the surrounding heating jacket 4 and transformed into a uniformly viscous liquid mass.
The plastic is fed to the press cylinder in a molten state, in contrast to the already known injection gripping machines, in which the plastic is only melted in the press cylinder.
After the plunger has moved back over the inlet opening of the feed cylinder, the feed plunger presses the plastic compound under slight pressure into the press cylinder. If a seal is to be produced, the nozzle needle is withdrawn until it releases the nozzle opening in the mold 14. The wheel body 9 is now rotated and with it the piston 8, so that the feed cylinder 5 is shut off. The plunger then presses the viscous mass into the mold.
After the mold has been filled, the nozzle needle presses close immediately and because it has little play in the sprue opening, it pushes the plastic in this space back into the cylinder 2. Thus, the seal can be removed when the mold is finished or, if necessary, ejected by the ejector. The wheel body 9 is now immediately. turned back again, making new ones
Plastic compound can flow into the press cylinder to create a new seal.
The identification seal according to FIGS. 2, 4 and 5 has a bead-shaped edge 21 made of thermoplastic material, which surrounds the two panes 22 and 23. These disks 22, 23 are printed with writing and pictorial symbols, to be precise even before they are enclosed by the plastic edge 21. These disks 22, 23 can consist of a wide variety of materials, for example paper, cardboard, plastic, metal.
For reasons of price and printing technology, the preferred material is a thin, preferably laminated cardboard. These disks 22, 23 are most expediently produced in such a way that entire sheets are printed several times with the desired characters and symbols and then the individual disks are punched out of the sheet.
Between the two Seheiben 22 and 23 there is a flexible fastening element 24 which is in the form of a cord or cord. By means of this fastening member 24, the seal is fastened to the object which is to be marked. The fastening element 24 protrudes on both sides over the bead-shaped edge 21, but it would also be conceivable that this fastening element would not protrude beyond the edge 21 on one side.
The disks 22, 23 are advantageously slightly arched, as a result of which a plastic, aesthetically advantageous effect is achieved.
3 and 6, a further, somewhat different embodiment is shown. In this case, the back of the seal is also made of plastic and forms a single piece with the edge 21. The front side has a printed disc 23 and the back side can optionally also be provided with characters, which are usually not carried out by printing but by engraving the injection molding tool.
The great advantage of the present seal is that the design of the edge is not subject to the same restrictions as, for example, with metal seals.
The edge 21 can, for example, as shown in Fig. 2, have the shape of a seal consisting of sealing wax, whereby an advantageous aesthetic effect can be achieved.
Of course, the edge could also have other shapes, for example round, triangular or polygonal, or other than the omamental shape shown.
The coloring can be carried out in different ways, for example in that the plastic edge 21 has a different color than the panes 22, 23, so that tasteful, multicolored seals can be produced in the simplest possible manner.
Instead of a cord or cord 24, a band that is wide in relation to its thickness, for example a textile fabric, or an elastic band, could also be used. It is also conceivable to provide a safety pin 17 or similar devices on the back of the seal for the purpose of fastening.
The planar body can be pierced centrally or in several places, for. B. in such a way that during pressing the plastic mass can pass through the body or the bores of the same and spread over its surface and form a hat there. The outer edge of the two-dimensional body can be completely exposed and it can appear riveted to the plastic compound itself.
