One-way drive device, in particular for self-winding timepieces The object of the present invention is a one-way drive device, in particular for automatic winding timepieces, the components of which are leading and driven are coaxial.
This device is characterized by a toothed wheel fixed coaxially on the driving member, and by the fact that the driven member has at least one oblong opening inclined with respect to the corresponding radius of this driven member and into which penetrates a solid journal. of a pinion, the whole so that, in a direction of rotation of said toothed wheel, the pinion engages its teeth fully with those of this wheel, which wedges it and causes it to drive the driven member, whereas, in the other direction, the pinion is moved away from this wheel and turns on itself without driving this member.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof and FIG. 2 a sectional view along 11-11 of FIG. 1.
In the embodiment shown, the driving element is formed by the wheel 1 riveted to the wheel 2. The assembly 1-2 is mounted loose on the shank 3 of the axis 4 via the ferrule 5 On the axis 4 is riveted a wheel 13 constituting the driven element. The coupling between the two elements is ensured by two pins 7 each provided with a journal 16 on one of their faces. These journals are freely engaged in oblong grooves 17 of the wheel 13 inclined with respect to the corresponding radius of this wheel 13 and allowing the pinions to approach or move away from the wheel 2.
The operation of the coupling is as follows: in the direction of rotation -18, the wheel 2 driving the pinions 7 tends to move them away from it by making them roll and slide in the direction 19. They then turn freely and the wheel 13 is not driven. In the direction of rotation 20, the wheel 2 driving the pinions 7 in the direction 21 tends to bring them closer to it, hence fully engaged and locking of the teeth. The driven element 13 is thus driven by the driving element.
Let us quote, by way of example, an application of these embodiments in an automatic watch. In such a watch, the oscillating mass should preferably drive the barrel shaft, whatever its direction of rotation. If we make the pinion of the cillant bone mass mesh with the. two driving elements of two devices described, but reversed, that is to say arranged so that the driving element of the second coupling drives its driven element in the direction of rotation opposite to the driven element of the first coupling, and if the two driven elements are made to mesh, the driven element of each device will always rotate in the same direction, whatever the direction of rotation of the oscillating weight.
