Branch patching machine The subject of the present invention is a branch patching machine.
In the woodworking industry Ma machines of the type mentioned are known, by means of which the three operations, the branch patching, that is, the drilling out of the branch, the introduction of glue into the borehole and the pressing of the patch into the borehole carried out in automatically successive operations can be. However, these known machines are all stationary and thus require the transport of the boards to be patched up to the respective location of the machine.
Since these are only relatively large and complicated machines, these are only economically viable for large companies.
The present invention aims to create a preferably portable branch patching machine, which can be placed on the work piece to be machined, similar to, for example, the usual hand drilling or hand sawing machines and can be displaced on this as desired.
Invention according to the branch patching machine has a Ge alternate with a certain foot to be placed on the workpiece to be processed and a drum housing rotatably mounted on the frame, in which at least one drilling spindle with. Associated drive motor, a glue spray nozzle with associated Leimbehäl ter and a press ram are arranged, where at least one control element is provided for optionally pressing down at least the drilling spindle and the press ram into their operative position.
The arrangement is expedient such that the drilling spindle and the ram can be brought into their operative position by pressing down a single hand lever in different rotational positions of the drum housing in which the two tools mentioned are located above the same work station.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention; It shows: FIG. 1 a front view of the machine, FIG. 1a a view of a detail of the machine, FIG. 2 a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a top view of the machine,
4 is a plan view of the upper part of the machine with the covers removed and FIG. 5 is a view of the gear transmission in the upper part of the machine with the bottom removed.
In the drawing, 1 is the drum housing with the housing base 2, the upper end caps 3 and 4 and the airtight closing cover 5 of a glue container 6. On the side of the drum housing 1 is a handle 7 with the pawl 8 attached, through which the drum housing into the each required position can be rotated. The drum housing 1 is for this purpose on a frame consisting of a support ring 9 with four guide blocks 10, four Stehbol zen 11 and a footplate 12, rotatably set on. The guide blocks 10 grip over the protruding edge of the housing base 2.
The support ring 9, on which these guide blocks 10 are screwed, is provided with a 13 cut, in which the switching pawl 8 can engage. The footplate .12 is shell-shaped and divided by intermediate walls. Two containers thus formed are used to hold the Flickzap fen. On the frame to be fixed on the workpiece, two support brackets with handles 14 and 15 are arranged. The left bracket 14 shown in Figures 1 and 3 is fixedly bind ver with the two left stud bolts 11, while the right bracket 15 is hinged to the bolt 17.
On the front arm of the right support bracket 15, an intermediate joint 16 is rotatably attached, which is articulated at the lower end with a driver 18. This driver 18 slides on the front right stud bolt 11 and has a protrusion 20 at the upper end optionally brought into a groove 19 of three tie rods 21 in engagement who can.
Each of the three tie rods 21 is movably connected to a tool holder of the machine. In the example shown, two drilling spindles 22, which have a drill chuck at the lower end for clamping a knothole drill, and a press ram 34, each of which is assigned a pull rod 21, are provided.
The tie rods 21 are mounted in the drum housing 1 in such a way that when the housing 1 is rotated into the relevant working position by means of the handle 7, the said projection 20 of the driver 18 on the stud bolt 11 comes into engagement, so that the rod 21 with the tie rod the tool holder verbun dene tool with the pivoting support bracket 15 is coupled.
The ram 34 is slidably mounted in the drum housing 1. The ram 34 is arranged parallel to the drilling spindles 22 and on the same base circle with the center in the axis of rotation of the housing 1 like the spindles 22 mentioned. By rotating the drum housing 1, the three tools 22, 34 can thus be brought into the same working position one after the other. With means of a hose 33 of the glue container 6 is connected to a glue spray nozzle 36, which is also arranged on the drum housing 1 vertically slidable ver.
When the movable support bracket 15 is depressed, the tool is set by corresponding to the rotation of the drum housing 1 is lowered via the driver 18 by the pull rod 21 belonging to the tool. When rotating the drum housing ses the support bracket 15 is held by a spring, not shown, in the highest stel ment.
The drilling spindles 22 are driven by means of a motor 23 via the double gear ratio 24 (FIG. 5). The gear wheels of the drilling spindles are each attached to a hollow shaft 25, in which the drilling spindles can be moved vertically and rotated by wedge and groove. The drilling spindles are held in the starting position by helical springs 26. The drilling spindles 22 are lowered by the tie rods 21, which carry ring-shaped drivers 28 at the upper end, each of which is pushed over the outer ring of an angular ball bearing 27 of the drilling spindle concerned (FIGS. 2 and 4).
The drilling depth can be limited by adjusting rings 29.
The centering of the drilling spindles on the branch to be drilled is carried out by adjusting rings 30, which are firmly attached to round rods 31 behind the drilling spindles. As mentioned, the ram 34 is also pressed down by a pull rod 21 and held in the starting position by a spring, not shown. The glue spray nozzle 32 can be depressed with a separate push rod 36.
The operating pressure for spraying out the glue takes place by pumping air into the container 6, for example by means of a normal foot pump via a pressure valve. The ventilation air of the motor is fed through a flat tube 35 to the drilling sites in order to blow away the chips.
The machine described could also be used as a stationary branch patching machine by being arranged on a pivoting boom of known construction, or by being slidably suspended on a trolley above a fixed work table.
It goes without saying that only a single drill spindle could be provided. The arrangement could furthermore also be such that the pivotable bracket 1.5 can be used not only for pressing down the drilling spindles and the press ram, but also for pressing down and actuating the glue spray nozzle. Instead of the push rod 36, there is a pull rod in this case.
