Ausser diesem beschriebenen Strick- bzw.
Process for the production of patterned knitted goods and flat left-left knitting machines equipped with stitch receiving plates for carrying out the process The production of patterned knitted goods on flat left-left knitting machines, in which individual stitches in opposite needle hooks or to increase the pattern effect Adjacent needles are unhanged, has hitherto been done in such a way that, after a row of stitches has been knitted in the order according to the pattern, the stitches were transferred by means of a second slide train in which no stitch formation took place.
The transfer itself was made possible either by the needles, which were appropriately distributed on the needle beds by means of a special slide train before the transfer, or by separate stitch receiving plates. This method has the disadvantage that several slide trains fail for the actual production of goods, so the item of goods itself requires a far larger number of slide trains than there are rows of stitches.
With the method and the machine according to the invention, this disadvantage is to be eliminated in that, after knitting in accordance with the pattern, all loops are first hung over the loop receiving sinkers of the one needle bed and then certain loops in accordance with the pattern in the needle beacons opposite needle bed are transferred. For this purpose, in the machine according to the invention, stitch receiving sinkers are only arranged in each channel of the one, in the case of the front, needle bed and above each a push and pull sinker.
An exemplary embodiment of the flat left-left knitting machine according to the invention is shown in the drawing in FIGS. 1 to 3: FIG. 1 shows the arrangement of the needles, sinkers, stitch receiving sinkers and jacks.
Fig. 2 shows, on a larger scale, the head of a sinker, .einer loop receiver and a needle, and Fig. 3 shows a plan view of the knitting locks with the needle, sinker and ram paths.
The structure of the machine is. following. The stitch receiving sinkers 1 are stored in the front needle bed and above them the pushing and pulling sinkers 2. The first ren are provided with a recess 3, in which a matching nose 4 of the boards \? can intervene. In the rear needle bed, a lower layer of pins 7 and an upper layer of pins 8 are arranged behind the sinkers 5, each equipped with a detent spring 6, of which the latter via the former and via the detent springs on the sinkers 5 and so that the needles 9 can act. The pushers 7 and 8 are equipped with feet 7 'and 8'.
In addition to the usual sample lock parts 10 to 30 in the knitting locks, the cap lock parts 31 to 38 are also arranged in the front lock and the L cap lock parts 39 to 48 in the rear lock. Furthermore, the rear lock is also provided with an addi tional padlock, which has the lock parts 49 to 56. It is assumed that all needles are located in the rear needle bed and move the lock slide in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 3) from right to left.
During the previous slide movement, the stitches were distributed from left to right according to the pattern on both needle beds in such a way that individual stitches hang on the stitch receiving sinkers 1 of the front needle bed and the others hang in the needle hooks of the rear needle bed.
Through the leading shoulder lock part 43 in the working position, all needles 9 are pushed forward slightly into the front needle bed by means of sinkers 5, with the needles 9 pushing back the stitch receiving sinkers 1 and taking over the stitches hanging in these. The needles 9 are then immediately taken back into the rear needle bed by the stripping member 41, so that all needles with stitches on the rear needle bed are in the ready position.
The sinkers 2 of the front needle bed are thereupon, after they have passed through the beginning of the sinker lock channel, first of the lock part 18 'he grips and propelled, the nose 4 engages in the recess 3 of the Masehenaufnahme- plate 1 so that these together is pushed forward with the plate 2 through the lock part 18, until the mask receiving plates are grasped by the feet 1 'of the lock channel 57 formed by the vision parts 14 and 15.
This lock channel then takes over the further advancement of the sinkers 1 and 2 until the latter are coupled to the needles 9 pushed from the rear needle bed through the sinkers 5 or the sinker lock channel 58 (position I-I, FIG. 3). Due to the jacquard arrangement of the machine, which is not an object of the invention, the lower pushers 7 were set according to the pattern before the start of the slide train. The pushed pusher 7, the feet of which are denoted by 7 ″ in FIG. 3, are therefore grasped by the lock part 27, pushed into the pusher lock and brought in front of the lock part 22.
By standing in the working position left-left central part 26, the sinkers 5 lying in front of the selected pusher 7 are advanced even further, where the associated needles are passed into the front needle bed in a manner known per se.
So in the further course, namely on the needle countersink 11, 13, loops in a pattern-based distribution on the front and rear needle bed are cut off; then the sinkers 2 of the front needle bed are pushed forward again through the lock part 38, taking with them the mask receiving sinkers 1 in the manner described above and inserting their feet 1 'into the lock channel 57 formed by the shoulder lock parts 32, 34. The advance of the boards 2 is limited by upper lock securing parts (not designated) be, in that the board feet 2 'ent long these parts. will.
The Maschenaufnalrme- sinkers 1 are advanced through the channel 57 'and take over in the furthest expulsion position, that is, at the tip of the shoulder part 36, the meshes (position II-II of Pig. 3). All of the loops are now located on the receiving sinkers 1 of the front needle bed. Before the start of the sled train, however, the Jaequardeinrieh also: The upper ram position 8 was set according to the pattern.
The pusher pusher lock part 50 pushed forward, hit their associated pusher 7 and push them into the pusher lock channel 59 so that they are grasped by the lock part 46 and pushed forward. As a result, the sinkers 5 and needles 9 lying in front of them are also taken along, pushing the associated stitch receiving sinkers 1 back slightly so that the stitches hanging on the latter are transferred into the hooks of the needles 9 (position III-III, Fig. 3).
The advanced needles 9 then go back into the rear needle bed, so that now, as at the beginning of the slide, all the needles are in the rear needle bed, while the stitches according to the pattern are on needles in the rear needle bed and on sinkers ( 1) are distributed in the front needle bed. The needle beds can then be moved according to the pattern to be produced and the lock parts can be repositioned, whereupon the process described is repeated in a similar manner. At the beginning of the new slide train, all stitches are first taken over to the rear needle bed.
Then the needles are distributed according to the pattern by the action of the jacquard device and stitches are knitted on the front and rear needle bed, whereupon all the stitches are again hung over on the hook sinkers 1 of the front needle bed and then, also by the action of the jacquard device, stitches determined according to the pattern be transferred again to needle hooks in the rear needle bed.
In addition to this described knitting or patterning process, it is of course also possible with the described enclosed type of knitting locks to produce any other knitting pattern that is based on the principle of collecting and distributing the needles or on the transferring of the stitches on or based on opposite needles. For this purpose, certain parts of the blind or certain groups of locks are put in or out of action.
