Description
Rubber-elastic tension spring The present invention relates to a gunimielaistisehe tension spring. She eats characterized by the fact that she has a body made of rubber, which in its interior is practically non-elastic; ribbon-shaped insert with at least one between two attack points for the tensile forces, closed loop, stretchable in the tensile direction. In the following two embodiments of the invention are described with reference to the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment in section.
Fig. 2 shows. the same Amsfü.hr ling example in perspective view, with the Guinini only with. a dash-dotted outline is indicated.
Fig. 3 shows. the insert of a second embodiment.
In Fig.1, with. 1 denotes the body made of rubber, which is the main component. the tension spring forms. In each of the holes. 2 is a sleeve 3 made of metal. These sleeves serve as points of application for the tensile forces. An endless belt 4 of parallel threads, which are connected to one another at individual points as required, lies. so! in rubber that it forms several closed loops that can be stretched in the direction of tension between the two holes 2.
It be seated in the further reinforced li, ndschlatifen 7, in which the holes 2 with their sleeves 3 are located.
Such a tension spring can be produced by the same process as a wheel tire.
The good properties of the spring described are due to the fact that the Gununi lying in the stretchable loops is compressed when the spring is pulled apart, so that it is subjected to compression and not tension. The spring constant depends on the shape given to these loops and their number.
Of course, the insert does not have to be made of cord fabric. 3 shows a further embodiment of an insert. In an endless fabric strip <i, four loops are formed by three seams 6.
The insert could also be made of metal: it is only essential that it contains at least one closed loop that can be stretched in the direction of pull between the two points of application for the tensile forces.
