Description
Automatic trailer coupling The invention relates to an automatic trailer coupling which can only get by with a handle and is nevertheless intended to ensure the required operational reliability.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the invention. The coupling shown in longitudinal section has a housing 1 with the mouth for inserting the connecting rod 3, which is pushed in in the direction of the arrow. The coupling bolt \? is guided vertically in the housing and with completely cingesehobener drawbar 3 in the eyelet ver lowers, the locking bolt 8 engages in the slot 11 of the coupling bolt.
In the upper slotted parts of the coupling bolt 2, a mandrel 6 is attached, which engages the lever 5 with Iandgriff 4; When the animal is pivoted clockwise, the Iiebel 5 over the mandrel 6 causes the lifting or
Pulling the coupling bolt 2 out of the eyelet of the pull rod 3, the locking bolt 8 being initially pushed out of the slot 11 in the bolt through an inclined surface. lii the upper end position ([the coupling bolt selinaps the bolt 8 as a result of the pressure of the bolt spring 12 in a recess 13 of the bolt and thereby holds it in the raised release position.
If the towing vehicle is now to be coupled to the trailer, the former drives a short distance back against the trailer, whereby the pull rod 3 pushing a stop arm 9 of the double lever 14 pushes a stop arm 9 of the double lever 14 to the right, and this pushes the second lever arm in Linkage 15 moves to the left ver. By means of this linkage 15, the locking bolt 8 is also moved to the left via a stop 16, whereby the Rie gel 8 releases the recess 13 and the coupling bolt falls into the eyelet of the pull rod and thus couples.
A spring 7 wound around the axis 17 pushes the lever 5 downwards and thus supports, on the one hand, the coupling by pressure acting on the falling bolt; On the other hand, the lever prevents the cooperative ken with the locking bolt 8 engaged in the upper slot 11 from loosening the coupling by shaking the coupling pin out of its position due to strong driver shocks and shocks. A spring 10 supporting the housing cover pushes the linkage 15 and the double lever 14 back into the starting position,
as soon as the pull rod 3 is pulled out of the coupling jaw after uncoupling.
