Double seat valve The invention relates to a double seat valve. With valves of this type, there are certain difficulties in achieving a completely tight closure of the valve seats if rooms under high internal pressure are to be locked and the valve may also be exposed to high temperatures.
Basically, the valve body and the support body of the valve seats lean unevenly in the pressure and temperature stresses, whereby the two valve seats do not come to the defeat at the same time.
To remedy this disadvantage, it has already been proposed to dimension the valve body and the support body of the valve seats so that they expand to the same extent under the stress that occurs, with both the valve seat rings and the two plates of the valve body by a number ; Bars or bolts are connected to one another.
However, a good seal requires a very precise fitting of the valve body into the valve body. However, local differences in the deformation still result from the fact that the webs or bolts, which still have to leave space for the penetration agent to pass through, only attack the seat rings or the plates in individual places that no.
purely rotationally symmetrical deformation of these parts sets, by the invention a double seat valve is now achieved in a simple manner a uniform pressing of the two valve seats and thus a complete sealing in the closed state of the valve.
To this end, according to the invention, the one closure part is designed at least on one valve seat as a ring that can be displaced in the direction of the valve axis - this ring sealingly with the valve via a flexible, one-piece washer This closing part is connected to the body carrying the body and is pressed against the sealing surface of the other closing part by the excess pressure of the means to be shut off.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown as an example. They show: FIG. 1 an axial section through a double seat valve and FIG. 2 a detail of FIG. 1 on a larger scale.
In a housing <B> 1 </B> with upper De & P, 1 2 and lower cover <B> 3 </B> there is a valve body 4, which is secured by a nut <B> 5 </B> is attached to an iSpind-e-1 <B> 6 </B> which is provided with a thread and can be moved in its axis direction. The valve body 4 has, as closing parts, a single upper valve disk <B> 7 </B> and a lower valve disk <B> 8 </B>.
The fixed end part on the lower valve seat is formed by a correspondingly shaped part 9 of the housing itself, the housing-side end part on the upper valve seat. in contrast, designed as a ring <B> 1.0 </B> which can be displaced in the direction of the valve stem. This ring is tightly connected to the valve housing via a resilient <B> 5 </B> one-piece sealing washer <B> 11 </B>.
The sealing washer 11 is here welded to the ring 10 at one point 12 along the entire circumference. The tight connection with the housing, on the other hand, is made by pressing the Dieht-Lmgsse, left <B> 11 </B> on the housing part surrounding the ring <B> 10 </B> by means of a visual B> 13 </B> on this housing part attached th ring 14 is reached.
The ring 14 simultaneously serves as a limit for the displacement of the seat ring <B> 10. </B> upwards.
The high-pressure side, inner fluid space of the valve is labeled <B> 1.5 </B> and the low-pressure side, outer fluid space is labeled <B> 16 </B>.
The ring <B> 10 </B> is now dimensioned such that when the plate <B> 8 </B> is pressed down on the lower housing part <B> 9 </B>, the ring 1.0 is reduced by a small amount of its limit position determined by the ring 1-4 is shifted downwards, which the flexible sealing washer <B> 11 </B> readily allows.
In order to ensure that the ring <B> 10 </B> is pressed against the plate <B> 7 </B> for complete tightness, the ring <B> 10 </B> is moved from the in the axial direction The upward component of the internal pressure acting on the ring <B> 10 </B> in space <B> 15 </B> is pressed against the sealing surface. The tightness of the upper.
The valve seat is thus achieved in the closed state by automatic pressing of the movable ring <B> 10 </B> against the sealing surface of the plate <B> 7 </B>, while the tightness of the bottom. Valve seat is generated by sufficiently forceful depression of the spindle <B> 6 </B>.
In the case of the double seat valve described, small differences in expansion of the housing compared to the valve body with regard to the tightness of the closure do not play a role, since the flexible disk 11 allows such differences to be compensated for.
The disk 11 Vera may also even compensate for asymmetrical deformations of the housing. Instead of pressing the flexible sealing disk onto the body carrying the closure part by means of screws, these parts can also be welded. Both can also be provided Valve seats can be designed in the manner described above, which in particular allows both seats to be adapted to deformations of the housing that are asymmetrical with respect to the spindle axis.
Instead of a closure part on the housing side, a closure part of the valve body can also be designed as a ring 10 which can be displaced in the axial direction, this ring then being tightly connected to the valve body by a resilient washer 11 is ..
