B. Sommer, Winter) keine be merkenswerten Funktionsunterschiede äussert.
Der zylin drische Kopf 27 der Drosselschraube ist mit radialen Bohrungen 28 versehen, die zum Eiiisteeken eines Stellstiftes dienen. Für diese 11.instellung, der Drosselschraube, mit der die Öffnung für den Durchfluss der Brems flüssigkeit in den überströmkanal 18 mehr oder weniger stark --gedrosselt und damit. die Brenisun;
Door closer The invention relates to a door closer on the door, with a closing spring, which is housed in a tube that ends and concealed in the door as a brake cylinder of a liquid brake, the closing spring being located in the liquid space, as well as with a linkage articulated on the door frame which is connected to an im Brake cylinder located brake piston of the liquid brake is connected, which brake piston has a bore for the unimpeded passage of a brake fluid when opening the door and a one-way valve for locking when closing the door.
The invention consists in that the linkage is positively attached to the piston in pulling and pushing directions so that the opened door resists slamming caused by external forces, and that the piston rod is located outside the brake fluid space free end to which a link is hinged, a guide support carries which is guided in a pipe piece connected to the brake cylinder.
This means that the door closer is not endangered even by strong slamming, since the bending moments occurring at the articulation point are countered by the guide support.
The operational reliability of such a door closer, which is concealed in the door and therefore particularly difficult due to the spatial confinement, can be further increased in that the free end of the liquid cylinder is closed by a plug which has a bore. an adjustable throttle organ contributes to braking. Only through this utilization of the door closer cross section is enough space gained to be able to make the bore large so that the brake fluid does not show any noticeable functional differences at different temperatures (e.g. summer, winter).
In known designs in which the throttle opening is off-center, neither the inside width of the door closer is too large or the throttle opening is too small and therefore prone to failure.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
It shows: FIG. 1 a vertical section in the door center plane through a wooden door. built-in door closer, Fig. 2 is a cross section along line II-II of Fig. 1., Fig. 3 is a horizontal section along line III-III of Fig. 1, Fig. 4 is an associated part for the Mon days of the door closer, Fig. 5 is a view in direction A of Fig. 1,
6 shows a schematic representation of the hinged door according to FIGS. 1 and 3, which can be pivoted up to 180, in various angular positions. 7 is a vertical section through a door frame and swing door with built-in door closer, FIG. 8 is a horizontal section along line VIII-VIII of FIG.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a wooden door and 2 denotes a door frame. The door can be pivoted about a door hinge indicated by 3 in FIG. The door shown, sehliesser can be arranged on the upper or lower edge of a wooden door. be. Kack the drawing, the door closer is hidden in a corresponding recess on the lower edge of the door.
It is essentially made up of a Bremszylin 4, a brake piston 5, a horizontal closing spring 6 acting directly on this brake piston and a piston rod 7 which is connected to the door frame 2 by a link 8a., 8b. The cylinders 4 and the piston 5 together form a fluid brake, while the piston rod 7 and the control arm 8a, 8b together form a linkage which is articulated on the door frame and which is connected to the piston 5.
The brake cylinder 4, which consists of a pipe, is divided by the piston 5 into the two cylinder spaces 9 and 10 located in front of and behind the piston, which are completely filled with brake fluid, e.g. B. oil, are filled. The closing spring 6 is thus arranged in the oil-filled cylinder space 10, which is sealed with a stuffing box. is completed. This exists. of a ring 11 screwed into the cylinder tube 4 and expediently tapered conically towards the cylinder space, a packing 12, a press ring 13 and a screw ring 14.
According to the drawing, the piston rod 7 is positively connected to the piston 5 i by a transverse pin 15. The cylinder chamber 10 is connected to the cylinder chamber 9 on the one hand by a passage 17 through the piston and controlled by a check valve 16 and on the other hand through. an overflow channel 18 and a throttle selstelle 19. These channels are also fully constantly with. Brake fluid is filled, which can be filled into the brake cylinder 4 through an opening which is tightly sealed with a screw connection 20.
The manner in which this door closer is shown is as follows: When the door is opened, that is, when the door is opened, the piston rod 7 with piston 5 is moved from the fixed in the door at 7, 8b by the handlebars 8a. y lindem 7 pulled out while the spring 6 is tensioned.
The oil displaced by the piston 5 in the left cylinder space 10 can be unhindered. Flow through the bore run 1-7 into the right cylinder chamber 9.
During the closing movement, the tensioned spring 6 pushes the brake piston 5 to the right, with the channel 17 being closed by the return valve 16, which consists of a ball and forming a one-way valve, and the oil in the right cylinder chamber 9 is closed via the throttle point 19 and The overflow channel 18 and the cylinder bore 21 are pressed into the left cylinder space 10.
Both when opening and closing the door, the overall cylinder space remains constant, and only the brake fluid is pushed from one cylinder space into the other. Due to the positive connection between the piston 5 and the piston rod 7, both in tension and in compression, the brake fluid must also be overtaken by external forces when the door is slammed, which can only be done with resistance.
In the advantageous exemplary embodiment shown, the overflow channel 18 is formed by a sheet-metal tube 22 which opens towards the tube and has an expediently semi-cylindrical cross-section, which is welded onto the tube 4. The free end of the tube 4 is closed by a screw plug 23 ver. In this one with a stuffing box 25, 26 sealed axial throttle screw 24 is screwed, at the end of which the throttle point, advantageously formed by means of a steel ball 19, is provided.
The cylindrical head 27 of the throttle screw is provided with radial bores 28 which serve to Eiiisteeken an adjusting pin. For this 11th setting, the throttle screw with which the opening for the flow of the brake fluid into the overflow channel 18 is more or less throttled and thus. the Brenisun;
the door is regulated. In the door there is a small side opening 9 (Fig. 3).
Uni for doors with a door latch to ensure that they are @diliessen, a locking mechanism is also provided, which at the end of the door closing movement, the hvdrauliselie braking lxsseiti @ # - t:
For this purpose, the brake cylinder is at the end closed by the plug 23 with a recess 30 and the piston with a transverse bore 31 leading to the passage 17 so that, as shown in FIGS. available,
At the end of the door closing movement, the brake fluid can flow freely from the pressurized cylinder space 9 through the turning 30 and the transverse bore 31 into the other cylinder space 10.
To set this brake-free door closing we - the length of the handlebar is adjustable and consists of a screw sleeve 8 (c) hinged to the piston rod by a bolt: 3, a screw bolt 8b that can be pivoted about another bolt 33 and a locking nut 34.
As can be seen from the drawing, is. this nut 34 is larger in diameter than the threaded sleeve 8ca. For llIontagezweeke is <read the fork piece 35 shown in Fig. 4 see easily, the z. B. after opening the door at c on the sleeve 8a. plugged. is, so that then see the - nut 34 by means of this fork 3:> on the; end face d of a pipe section 36, which is expediently supported by a threaded sleeve 37 with. the cylinder tube 4 is connected.
The handlebars 8, 8b can move freely in this extension tube 36. This Roliratüek 36 is of course at 36a (see FIGS. 3 and 5) increasingly widened after the free end, in the same way as FIG. 5 shows that a ring-shaped guide support 38 attached to the piston rod 7 outside the liquid space is also guided in the enlarged part of the pipe section 36.
This guide support 38, which slides in the pipe section 36, is provided in order to transmit the transverse forces acting from the handlebars on the piston rod to the pipe section 36, so that bending of the piston rod 7 is prevented even when the door is closed violently . The guide support 38 is also used to lock the door in a certain open position.
To that end is. a with. a spring 39 loaded, z-% Veekmässig consist of a steel ball 40 of the pressure member provided, which protrudes into the interior of the pipe section 36 according to FIG. This locking device is mounted in a pipe socket 40 and can be adjusted with a pressure screw 41.
According to FIGS. 1 and 3, the handlebars 8a, Sb is articulated by means of the bolt 33 on a fork-shaped bearing block 42 attached to the door. Here, as shown in Figure 3, the pivot axis 33 of the handlebar on the door frame ge compared to the door rebate 43 by the size f (at least 15 mm), while the door hinge 3 is set back from the door rebate by approximately the same size e.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 6, this offset of the pivot axes has the advantage that, on the one hand, the door is opened very widely, according to FIG. 6 up to 180. can be and that on the other hand, a large stroke of the piston 5 comes about. This large piston stroke results in a very even and effective braking of the door.
Various angular positions of the door are indicated schematically in FIG. 6, the door pivoted by 180 being drawn with dashed lines. The center line of the door that can be pivoted at 3 or the piston rod 7 is indicated with dashed lines b for different positions of the door, while the center line of the link Sc>;, 8b for the different positions of the door is shown with dashed lines a .
When the door is pivoted, the pivot pin 32 moves between the piston rod 7 and the link Scr, 8b on a circular path 7n around the bolt 33. Through an arc 7i. is. 6 indicates the trajectory which the bolt 32 would follow when the door is pivoted if the axis of the bolt 33 coincided with that of the door hinge 3.
The displacement of the bolt 33 relative to the door hinge 3 causes the stroke of the piston 5. The size of the stroke is given in FIG. 6 by the distance 1z of the circular arc m from the circular arc n in the middle line b of the door and piston rod 7. From Fig. 6 it is also evident that
that even with large opening angles of the door, the handlebars and the door center line a or -. b differ relatively little from one another in their direction, i.e. a favorable power transmission is present.
The door closer, which is tubular in its overall shape, is connected to the plates 44 and 45 and, as can be seen, can be fastened to the door with wood screws 46 and 47.
The tubular door closer shown can easily be used for steel doors and between the two sheet metal walls of such doors, at any height, arranged or used in direction A who the.
It is possible to use the door closer shown in Fig. 1 to 3, practically without any modification of the same, also for swing doors, as shown in Fig. 7 and 8 ge shows. For this purpose, only the one at k. indicated Sehwenkaehse the door arranged within half of the door frame 2 in its central plane. A fitting 48 is attached to the door, namely above and below, the bearing rod 49 engages between the bearing parts 50, 51 attached to the door and is held by a bearing pin 52. The correspondingly shaped bearing block for the handlebar is marked 53 ..
Otherwise, the same reference numerals as in FIGS. 1 to 3 are used for the swing door closer of FIGS.
With swing doors as well as open doors, a soft, shock-free closing movement is achieved with the door closer described above. The door can be swiveled up to 180 degrees even when using normal door fish hinges. In the case of the door closer, which is extremely reliable and does not require a safety valve, the hydraulic piston brake is immediate even at small door opening angles. effective.
