Disc brake on vehicle wheels The present invention has for. The object was, a, disk brake on vehicle wheels, the one with two opposing brake disks and arranged between them. Brakes,

sus Each other is provided. .

Embodiments are known in which the two brake disks are connected to one another exclusively by spacer bars in order to make the interior of the brake easily accessible.

However, this easy Z1.1 accessibility is offset by the disadvantage that the brake is partly exposed to dirt and partly when cleaning the vehicle, spray water gets into the interior of the brake, which is undesirable.

The present invention consists in that the two brake disks are held at a distance from one another by a spacer ring consisting of at least two segments and enclosing the brake shoes, and by means of a spacer ring extending from brake disk to brake disk,

screws arranged within the spacer ring are held together.

In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, 1, -md shows:

Fig. 1 is an axial section through the disk brake attached to a wheel body along the section line A-A in Fig. 2 .ui Fig. 2 is a cross section through the disk brake according to the section line .B 13 in Fig. 1.

The two brake disks are denoted by 1 and 2, between which brake shoes are to be spread apart in the axial direction. 3 and 4 are arranged. In :

close to the exterior. Unifanges dier two brake disks, a spacer ring consisting of two segment pieces 5 and 6 is provided between them,

which the brake jaws 3 and 4 encloses. This spacer ring could, however, consist of a larger number of segment pieces. The front ends of the segment pieces 5 and 6 of the,

Spacer rings engage in grooves 7 and 8 of the brake disks 1 and 2 .. The two brake disks 1 and 2 are held together by means of the brake disk to, brake, - sclheibe extending head screws 9.

the screw heads 10 of which are anchored on the wheel body 11. The head screws 9 are arranged within the. The brake disc 1 lies on the inside against the: wheel body 11 and is zen on this by an annular shoulder 12 zen.
