Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 312189 Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Polyazofarbatoffes der Stilbenreihe Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupfer haltigen Polyazofarbstoffes der Stilbenreihe, welches darin besteht, dass man 1 Mol der Aminodisazoverbindung der Formel

diazotiert und den Diazokörper mit 1 Mol der Kupferkomplexverbindung von 2,2',4'-Trioxy- 1,
1'-azobenzol-5-sulfonsäure vereinigt.
Der neue, kupferhaltige Polyazofarbstoff der Stilbenreihe stellt ein braunschwarzes Pulver dar, welches sich in Wasser mit rot- brauner Farbe löst und Chromvelourleder in lebhaften, rotstichig braunen, schleifechten Tönen färbt.
Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die Teile Gewichtsteile, und die Prozente sind in Gewichtsprozenten angegeben. Beispiel 78,7 Teile der Aminodisazoverbindung der Formel

werden in Form des Natriumsalzes in 1000 Teilen Wasser gelöst und durch Zugabe einer Lösung von 7 Teilen Natriumnitrit in 25 Tei len Wasser und 30 Teilen 30o/oiger Salzsäure bei 15 diazotiert. Die entstandene Diazo- suspension lässt man zu einer eisgekühlten Lösung aus 37,2 Teilen der Kupferkomplex verbindung von 2,2',4'-Trioxy-1,
1'-azobenzol- 5-sulfonsäure, 40 Teilen Natriumcarbonat und 400 Teilen Wasser zufliessen. Nach beendig- ter Kupplung wird der erhaltene Polyazo- farbstoff durch Zusatz von Natriumchlorid abgeschieden, von der Lösung abfiltriert und getroeknet. Er ist ein braunschwarzes Pulver, welches sich in Wasser mit rotbrauner Farbe löst und Chromvelourleder in lebhaften, rot stiehig braunen, sehleifechten Tönen färbt.

The new, copper-containing polyazo dye from the stilbene series is a brown-black powder which dissolves in water with a red-brown color and dyes chrome suede in lively, reddish-brown, abrasive tones.
In the example below, parts are parts by weight and percentages are percentages by weight. Example 78.7 parts of the aminodisazo compound of the formula

are dissolved in 1000 parts of water in the form of the sodium salt and diazotized at 15 by adding a solution of 7 parts of sodium nitrite in 25 parts of water and 30 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid. The resulting diazo suspension is added to an ice-cold solution of 37.2 parts of the copper complex compound of 2,2 ', 4'-trioxy-1,
1'-azobenzene-5-sulfonic acid, 40 parts of sodium carbonate and 400 parts of water flow in. After coupling has ended, the polyazo dye obtained is precipitated by adding sodium chloride, the solution is filtered off and dried. It is a brown-black powder which dissolves in water with a red-brown color and dyes chrome suede in lively, red, brown, soft tones.
