Device for opening and closing a ventilation flap, especially for car cars. It is perceived as a disadvantage that the ventilation flaps of motor vehicles, in particular autocars, which are usually arranged in the rear part of the car, cannot be operated from the driver's seat.
By the device according to the inven tion, remote control of such flaps should be made possible in that two air-controlled, opposing pistons are provided, which are each verbun with a rack that work together on a pinion. On the axis of the pinion a worm is provided, which drives a worm wheel that is movably connected to the ventilation flap.
In this remote control, the self-locking of the worm gear connected between the drive pistons should not be influenced by the flap.
Since the pistons are air-controlled, the associated lines can be laid close to the driver's seat without difficulty. % vo the control organs can also be attached.
It can also be provided a hydraulic brake which is coupled to one of the opposing pistons, by means of which the piston movement, for. B. is regulated by a brake opening provided in the piston of the brake for the passage of the brake fluid.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows the device in vertical longitudinal section, FIG. 2 shows the device in horizontal longitudinal section, FIG. 3 shows the device in section along line III-III of FIG and FIG. 4 shows the device together with the ventilation flap on a smaller scale.
1 with a square tube is referred to, in which the cylinder tubes 2 and 3 are used. The pressure lines 4 and 5 pass through the wall of the square tube 1 and are connected to the cylinder tubes 2 and 3 is closed. The pressure lines lead via the T-pipe sections 6 and 7 to the control organs for the compressed air, which can be installed near the driver's seat. By means of these control elements, compressed air from a compressor can be let into the lines by pushing a button or lever actuation. In normal conditions, the control units keep the lines connected to the outside air.
A piston 8 or 9 is housed in each of the cylinder tubes 2 and 3; the pistons are sealed by collars 10. The piston rods 11 and 12 belonging to the piston occur on the piston opposite side in a ge through the square tube formed space 13 from. The piston rods are sealed by a sealing collar 14 each. At the ends of the piston rods facing the intermediate space 13, a toothed rack 15 or 16 is arranged, which are opposite one another in the intermediate space 13 and are supported against guides 17 and 18 provided in the square tube.
The racks run in opposite directions and work on a common pinion 19, on whose shaft 20 a worm 21 is arranged. The latter is arranged in a housing 22 and is with a worm gear 23 in a handle. On the shaft 24 of the worm wheel, which is extended on both sides, levers 25 are placed, to which a lever 26 is hinged. The latter are connected to a ventilation flap 30 by means of pins 29. A part of a body is indicated by 31, on which the flap 30 is pivotably mounted on a pin 32 (FIG. 4).
In a U-shaped, attached to the body part 31 th channel 33, a seal 34 for sealing the flap 30 is inserted.
In the square tube 1 two diametrically located slots 35 are milled, in which a verbun with the head of the piston rod 11 dener bolt 36 is guided. At the protruding from the square tube end of the Bol zens the piston rod 37 of a brake piston 39 arranged in a cylinder tube 38 is articulated. The cylinder tube 38 is arranged axially parallel to the cylinder tube 2 and is rigidly connected to it. A brake opening 40 for the passage of a brake fluid (oil, glycerine or the like) is provided in the piston 39.
The passage cross section of the brake opening 40 could, for example, be designed to be adjustable by means of a regulating screw.
The device described is fastened to the body of the car by means of a carrier? 1.
The mode of operation of the device is briefly as follows: If the ventilation flap 30 is to be opened, the driver actuates the control element, which releases compressed air into the device 4. The compressed air reaches the pistons 8 and 9, these move against one another, and the tie rods 1.5 and 7.6 drive the pinion 19 in the opening direction. The worm 21 performs a few revolutions and gives the worm gear 23 a partial revolution.
The levers 25, which are seated on the shaft 24 of the tendon wheel, are pivoted and, together with the levers 26, exert a toggle action on the ventilation flap 30 in the sense of opening the same.
During this V organ the air located behind the pistons 8 and 9 can escape through the line 5 and the control organ connecting it to the outside air. The brake piston 39 provides. for smooth and steady operation of pistons 8 and 9 and regulates the creak speed of the opening and closing process.
When the ventilation flap 30 is closed, the same process takes place in the opposite direction.
