Description

      Fauteuil.

  Quand il s'agit     (fig.    3) d'empiler des fau  teuils non utilisés, notamment en cas de mau  vais temps, on enlève de chaque fauteuil la  pièce 1.1, en dégageant les     manchons    12a et  13a de la traverse 10, respectivement 12b et  13b de ,la traverse 9, des extrémités     des    sup  ports 2 et 4, ce qui permet de mettre de côté  la pièce 11 de chaque fauteuil à empiler;

         ensuite, on place lesdits fauteuils les uns au- dessus des autres, comme le représente ladite fig. 3, de manière que les pieds d'un fauteuil reposent sur la face supérieure horizontale des ergots que présentent les pieds du fau teuil qui se trouve au-dessous.

      Armchair. The present invention relates to an armchair.

  The drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the chair according to the invention.

  The thread-. 1 represents it in elevation and in thinking.

  Fig. 2 shows an execution detail.

  Fig. 3 shows, in elevation, several stacked chairs.

  1 and 2, respectively 3 and 4, denote pairs of arcuate linear elements serving as supports, fixed to each other at 5a and 5b, respectively 6cs and 6b. Supports 1 and. 3, including the. concavity is turned towards the ground, are. interconnected by fixed bars 7 and 8. The ends of the supports 2 and 4, the concavity of which is directed upwards, are interconnected by removable crossbars 9, respectively 10, on which is mounted, by its ends, a flexible part 11 serving as a seat.

  Fig. 2 shows, in elevation, a method of mounting the. removable crosspiece 10 on the ends of the supports 2 and 4. Said crosspiece 10, on which is mounted one of the ends of the part 11, has, at each of its ends, a cylindrical sleeve 12a, 13a respectively, of which the axis is per pendicular to the. cross member 10. These sleeves have holes 14, 15 respectively, of cross section corresponding to that of the ends of the supports 2 and 4.

      It is in the holes of these sleeves that the ends of supports 2 and 4 are housed.

  At their ends, which constitute the legs of the chair (fig.l), the supports 1 and 3 have. externally, lugs 16 and 18, 17 and 19 respectively, the upper part of which has a flat and horizontal surface.

  When it comes (fig. 3) to stack unused wheelchairs, especially in the event of bad weather, part 1.1 is removed from each armchair, by releasing the sleeves 12a and 13a from the crossbar 10, respectively 12b and 13b of the cross member 9 of the ends of the supports 2 and 4, which allows part 11 of each chair to be stacked to be set aside;

         then, said armchairs are placed one above the other, as shown in said FIG. 3, so that the feet of an armchair rest on the upper horizontal face of the lugs presented by the feet of the chair which is located below.
