Chaise <B>pour</B> enfant La présente invention a pour objet une chaise pour enfant, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend un chevalet présentant deux parties se croisant, articulées l'une à l'autre, et portant, à leurs extrémités supérieures, un ca dre auquel est suspendu un siège.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de la chaise objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en élévation ; la fig. 2 en est une vue en plan.
La chaise pour enfant représentée com prend un chevalet 1 en bois comportant deux parties 2 et 3 articulées sur deux fiches coaxia les 4 ; chacune de ces parties 2 et 3 comprend deux montants 5 et 6, assemblés à leurs extré mités inférieures au moyen d'une traverse 7 pourvue de deux galets 8 destinés à rouler sur le sol ; l'extrémité supérieure des montants 5 et 6 est fixée sur des longerons 9 d'un cadre en bois 10 présentant, à ses bouts, deux tra verses 11 et 12 et, entre celles-ci, une traverse intermédiaire 13, les traverses 11 et 13 portant une planchette 14 sur laquelle peuvent être dé posés des objets destinés à un usager.
Aux traverses 12 et 13 est suspendu, par l'intermédiaire de courroies 15, 16 et 17, un siège en bois 18 ; la hauteur de ce dernier par rapport au sol pouvant être modifiée en dépla- çant les brins amovibles des courroies 15, 16 et 17.
L'extrémité supérieure de chacun des mon tants 5 et 6 de la partie 2 du chevalet 1 est fixée au cadre au moyen d'un boulon d'assem blage 19 engagé dans l'une d'une série d'ou vertures 20 pratiquées dans ce cadre. Les dif férentes ouvertures servent à modifier la hau teur du cadre 10 par rapport au sol.
La chaise représentée est utilisée comme suit par un jeune enfant Celui-ci est placé à califourchon sur le siège 18 et peut soit poser ses pieds sur le sol et déplacer la chaise représentée en marchant, soit s'asseoir sur le siège 18 pour se reposer.
La chaise représentée peut aussi être utili sée pour asseoir l'enfant devant une table ; dans ce cas, la traverse 7 de la partie 3 du chevalet 1 est placée sur un siège, et la partie du cadre 10 comprise entre les traverses 11 et 13 est placée sur la table, un tenon 20 fixé sur la traverse 13 venant buter contre celle-ci.

The children's chair shown com takes a wooden easel 1 comprising two parts 2 and 3 articulated on two coaxial cards the 4; each of these parts 2 and 3 comprises two uprights 5 and 6, assembled at their lower ends by means of a cross member 7 provided with two rollers 8 intended to roll on the ground; the upper end of the uprights 5 and 6 is fixed to side members 9 of a wooden frame 10 having, at its ends, two sleepers 11 and 12 and, between these, an intermediate sleeper 13, the sleepers 11 and 13 carrying a board 14 on which can be placed objects intended for a user.
From the sleepers 12 and 13 is suspended, by means of belts 15, 16 and 17, a wooden seat 18; the height of the latter in relation to the ground can be modified by moving the removable ends of the belts 15, 16 and 17.
The upper end of each of the uprights 5 and 6 of part 2 of the easel 1 is fixed to the frame by means of a connecting bolt 19 engaged in one of a series of openings 20 made in this frame. The various openings serve to modify the height of the frame 10 relative to the ground.
The chair shown is used as follows by a young child.The latter is placed astride the seat 18 and can either put his feet on the ground and move the chair shown by walking, or sit on the seat 18 to rest .
The chair shown can also be used to seat the child in front of a table; in this case, the cross member 7 of part 3 of the trestle 1 is placed on a seat, and the part of the frame 10 between the cross members 11 and 13 is placed on the table, a tenon 20 fixed on the cross member 13 abutting against this one.
