  Verfahren zur     Herstellung    eines optischen     Aufhellungsmittels.            Gegenstand    vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines optischen       Aufhellungsmittels.    Das Verfahren ist da  durch     gekennzeichnet,    dass man     4-(2"'-Oxy-          4"'-methyl-benzoylamino)    -4'-     (2"-äthoxy-4"-me-          thyl-        benzoylamino)    -     stilben    -2,2'-     disulfonsäure     mit einer den     f-Oxy-äthylrest    einführenden  Verbindung, wie z.

   B.     Äthylenchlorhydrin    oder       Äthylenoxyd    bis zum Verschwinden der     pheno-          lischen        Hydroxylgruppe    behandelt.
