Method of manufacturing a rotor blade for axial flow machines. The invention relates to a method for producing a twisted rotor blade for axial flow machines, such as compressors and turbines.
So that the profile is adapted to the flow course over the entire blade length from the root to the tip, the blade profile is known to be designed taking into account the following aspects: The deflection angle, which is caused by the curvature of the entire blade profile, should be equal to the distance of change the running axis.
The angle of attack of the blade profile, which corresponds to the angle between the chord of the profile and a plane through the running axis, should also change with the radius, that is to say the distance from the running axis.
Furthermore, the blade width should be gradually reduced as the radius increases, that is, the center distance. Furthermore, the thickness of the blade should decrease from the root of the blade towards its tip.
These requirements can be satisfied by choosing different profiles between the root and the tip of the shovel who, and such blades with changing profile have been made by casting or by complicated milling processes. However, this production is not always economical and requires casting models or special milling machines. The invention ensures an extraordinary simplification, acceleration and cheaper production of bewun dener blades. and is always applicable if the twist is not too great.
The invention consists in a method for producing a twisted rotor blade for axial flow machines, the blade thickness, that is to say the distance between the front or concave side and the rear or convex side, blade width, that is, the distance from the leading edge to the step edge, and deflection angle, That is, the acute angle between the tangents to the center line of the profile at the entry and exit end of the blade, gradually decreasing from the blade root towards the blade tip, and is characterized by the fact that an untwisted blade raw shape is first produced by machining , which is then twisted under torsional stress to the finished shape of the blade.
The raw shape of the blade is preferably designed so that the centers of gravity of all profiles lie approximately on a straight radial line (as is known to see), and the twist of the blade is selected so that the centers of gravity of the profiles after twisting again approximately on one straight radial line. The twisting of the blade is expediently carried out by die pressing, preferably in the cold state. A subsequent heat treatment is desirable in order to eliminate internal stresses that could lead to regression of the twist.
The convex or rear side of the raw blade shape can advantageously be made up of two or more cylindrical surfaces, that is to say the profile delimitation on the convex side can be composed of two or more arcs.
The front of the raw blade can be concave or flat, that is, the corresponding profile boundary may be an arc of a circle or a straight line. In the first-mentioned case, the front of the blade is only formed flat, and the concave hollow shape is then achieved by machining. Narrow, flat end pieces near each profile edge on the inlet and outlet side are also advantageous with hollow blades, because then the position of the chord relative to the blade profile, i.e. the angle of attack, does not change even when smoothing sharp edges by appropriate machining changes.
A check to determine whether the blade has obtained the desired angle of attack through the twist can then easily be made by applying a straight ruler to the flats and their angle with a given plane, e.g. B. a comparison area at the root of the blade, measures. The angular position of a blade attached to the rotor body can be checked in a similar manner without difficulty.
The raw shape of the blade can be made by a simple machining operations ago, in particular by milling the convex blade surface and planing or face milling, if necessary with subsequent hollow milling, the front blade surface. In this way, a correct blade profile can be achieved quickly and economically with the following simple twist. Since it is easy to check whether the blades are correctly twisted, this method of manufacture ensures that all blades are identical to one another, have the correct shape and can be attached at the required angle. It should be noted that the torsion is relatively small.
With reference to the drawing, the Ver will drive according to the invention, for example, he explains. 1 shows an oblique view of a raw shape of the blade produced by machining, FIG. 2 shows a root profile and FIG. 3 shows a profile at the tip of the blade, FIG. 4 shows an elevation and FIG. 5 shows a view of a raw blade shape . 6 and 7 a view like FIGS. 4 and 5, but after the blade has been twisted.
In Fig. 1, the line <1-0-D represents the convex boundary of the profile of the blade shape at the root and the line BOC the convex boundary of the profile at the tip of the blade. As the blade on a surface at right angles is projected to the convex surface, the circular arc of the profile line of the convex profile at the top falls completely within the line of the convex profile at the root, which line is longer. The front side of the blade is only just being produced in such a way that the plane thus created is inclined slightly towards the convex rear side in order to bring about a decrease in thickness towards the blade tip. The plane forming the front is labeled E-F-H-G.
The inclination of this plane was also advantageously chosen so that the blade thickness at the trailing edge, which is DF at the blade root, towards the tip, where it is C -H , something decreases. The thickness of the inlet edge is formed similarly so that it advantageously decreases from A -E at the root to B-G at the tip. The blade can then be hollowed out on the front up to the line I-ZT-K at the root and LV-: 17 at the tip, with narrow flat parts EILG at the inlet edge and K-h'-H i1I at the outlet edge advantageously unchanged stay.
After this machining for the production of the raw blade according to FIG. 1, the edges are rounded so that the root profile according to FIG. 2 and the tip profile according to FIG. 3 are produced. The deflection angle 00, that is to say the acute angle 0o at the root enclosed by tangents to the center line of the profile at the leading edge and at the trailing edge, is greater than the deflection angle 01 at the tip, as the drawing shows.
The blade root for attaching the blade to the rotor may, as shown in FIG. 4, form a hammer head. This foot is arranged relative to the blade in such a way that the desired blade pitch angle is created at the root. The shovel is then twisted in such a way that the required correct angle of attack is obtained for every distance from the barrel axis (FIGS. 6 and 7). The twist is carried out in such a way that the focal points of the various blade cross-sections are at least approximately on the same radial line.
