A bearing for a watch mobile . The present invention relates to a bearing for a watch mobile, comprising two parts which can be separated and assembled into a block, one pierced to guide the pivot of the mobile in rotation. and the other, not drilled, limiting the axial swing of this pivot.
This bearing is characterized in that the assembly means of the two parts comprise, mounted on the pierced part, a flexible member of annular shape having at least two tabs projecting on its internal edge and pressing on the periphery of a face. flat manufacturing outlet of said non-drilled part to clamp and thus assemble the two parts against each other.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, seen in axial section and in plan.
The bearing shown, which comprises a pierced part and a non-drilled part assembled, is; maintained in an unrepresented part of the watch frame by known means such as screws, locks or keys. It can also be driven into said frame. On the periphery of the pierced part of the bearing can be driven out or be adjusted on a truncated collar the racket of the watch or any other adjustment member.
At the pierced part 1, maintaining the pivot 2 of the mobile of the watch laterally, is assembled a non-pierced part 3 forming a counter-pivot and limiting the axial range of this pivot. The assembly means of these parts 1 and 3 comprise a flexible annular member 4 mounted on the pierced part 1.
This flexible member 4 is a metal washer which has two tabs 5 projecting from its internal edge. This ring 4 is fitted in a cylindrical recess made in the pierced part 1 and is fixed by means of a ring 6 forced into said recess. The flexible ring 4 could also be fixed by simple driving on the pierced part 1 or by welding, riveting or even crimping.
The non-drilled part 3 of the bearing is constituted by a circular plate output flat from manufacture. Its center forms an abutment against the pivot 2 of the mobile of the watch, while its periphery is cut out: by a number of notches at least one greater than the number of tabs of the ring 4. The position of these notches 7 on the circular perimeter of part 3 is chosen in such a way that it is possible to introduce it into a corresponding cylindrical recess, made in the pierced part 1, passing through the flexible ring 4.
The height of the cylindrical recess is very low (1 to 2 hundredths of a millimeter) smaller than the thickness of the plate 3. Placed in said cylindrical recess, it is possible to turn said plate 3 by means of 'a pointed tool which is introduced into one of the notches 7 not occupied by the guards 5. Thanks to their flexibility, the tongues 5 will be slightly raised by the edges of the plate 3 and allow the latter to pass through. this. The rotation of the plate 3 will stop when the tabs 5 are pressed against the plate 3, between the notches 7. The two parts are thus assembled .de stable manner.
To obtain the separation of the two parts, we will perform an inverse relative rotation, bringing the tabs opposite the notches.
The thickness of the flexible ring 4 being chosen small enough, it is conceivable that it will temporarily give way under the effect of pressure or an axial shock on the pi vot 2 of the mobile. In this case, the bearing will protect the pivot of the mobile against the effect of axial shocks.
To facilitate the rotational movement of the plate 3 under the tongues 5 of the ring 4, the edges of these two parts which have come out flat from manufacture must be free of any burrs. Barring, cutting and rounding these edges very slightly (1 to 2 hundredths of a millimeter in radius), will give full security of function.
It is. understood that said bearing can be designed with two rubies, one drilled, crimped or driven out in the center of the pierced part 1, the other without a hole, crimped or driven into the plate 3, cut for this purpose of a central hole.
