Method and device for the closed printing of several distant places from the same original. The invention relates to a method and a device for closed, d. H. another approximated printing of at least two distant locations (texts or text parts) of the same original during one and the same operation of a printing device, e.g. B. a rotary transfer printer. This task occurs particularly where the header text of a list with any, distant text parts of the same list in a narrow space, e.g. B. the original compared to smaller sheets or the same to be reprinted in one printing process. This occurs particularly in the so-called work preparation in manufacturing companies or in machine bookkeeping, etc.
If the method is applied in example in the work preparation, one and the same Origi naltext, z. B. from a mirror image original produced with transferable font, in a Druekvorganr on a form print each of the head that remains the same for several transfers (e.g. consisting of the name of a workpiece, the order number, the type, the order and delivery date, the Drawing number, etc.) and one of the work processes (e.g. forging, turning, milling, drilling, planing, etc.
reprinted in order to be able to give every worker a precise, very detailed instruction for the work operation to be carried out by him and to gain a positive basis for the wage calculation and the calculation of the production costs on the basis of the latter.
The method is characterized in that the printing process is temporarily interrupted, and the sheet to be printed and the printing form are adjusted relative to one another during the duration of this interruption. This method can expediently be carried out in such a way that the sheet to be printed is only temporarily moved in relation to the continuously moving printing form and the respective time interval between the movements of the sheet to be printed is determined according to the distance between the text parts to be printed.
The device for performing this method in a rotary printer, in which the original printing form, e.g. B. a sheet with a mirror text is stretched on a printing drum, is in the illustrated embodiments is that either two or more Gegenruekel.e- inente, z. B. pressure bar can be used.
which come into effect one after the other and thereby move the sheet to be printed step by step through the machine, or by using a single revolving pressure element, i.e. a counter-pressure roller, which is brought into effect at least twice with a temporal gap and thus the same Effect achieved. The (web printing roller is movably mounted in a guide line radial to the printing drum and is controlled by switching buttons.
The counter pressure bars and the disks or disk parts (arms) carrying the switching cams are arranged in the same way and are also controlled in the same way; the part causing the imprint of the recurring text (header text) is fixed on the carrying device, the part causing the imprint of the text to change is arranged on the same carrying device so that it can be rotated relative to the fixed part. By adjusting the moving part, i.e. by changing the angle between the parts, it is possible to create any desired line or line from the original text.
To be able to print section from; Since the sheet to be printed has come to a standstill in the meantime between this print and the print of the header text, both parts of the text are printed close together, regardless of how far apart they are on your print original. The moving part is preferably adjusted automatically from line to line by means of a control unit; But it is also easily possible to cancel this automatic switching and to make the setting of the movable counter pressure element by hand.
The implementation of the process described can in itself any way he follows, in Figures 1 to 5, two forms of implementation are shown, for example.
In Fig. 1 in the two sides walls 1, the axes 2 and 3 with the meshing gears 4 and 5 are mounted. The axis 2 carries the printing drum 6 on which a printed original with, for example, a header K and a number of lines of text Z1, Z2, Zs, etc. in fictional fonts is stretched in the manner shown in the figure. The axle 3 carries two discs 7 firmly connected to it, the left of which is locked on the edge.
Between the two, the pressure segment 8 is attached to the pressure support 9; between them sits on the axis 3 loosely a sleeve 10 with two arenas 11, between which another pressure segment 12 sits with the pressure pad 13. The sleeve 10 is held in its respective position on the one hand by the spring 14 and on the other hand by the pawls 15a and 15b engaging in the catches of the disk 7. The spring 16 holds the axle 3 in the position shown, in which the gears 4 and 5 are in engagement with one another. By pressing the push button 17 on the right, the axle 3 with the gear 5, which is in the rest position, can be pushed to the left against the spring 16, so that the gearwheels 4 and 5 disengage.
The pin 19 arranged on the left side wall 1 then engages in a hole in the gearwheel 5 and secures its position together with the pawl 18 which engages behind a detent disk 18a located on the axis. The pin 20 serves as a stop for the pawls 15a and 15b.
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-B of FIG. The same numbers indicate the same parts. The figure shows that the gear 4 also drives a gear 2l which drives a gear 22 connected to the upper paper feed roller 23; 24 is the lower paper feed trolley. The upper one also serves as a moistening device and gets its moisture from the felt strip 25 soaked with a suitable liquid. 26 is a spring which rubs on the sheet to be printed; 27, 28 and 29 are part of the paper guide. On the Seheiben 7 fer ner two levers 30 are rotatably mounted, which are pressed by a spring 31 against the eccentric 32 and wear a counter-pressure roller 33 between see.
Finally, one of the known clamping devices 31 is also shown on the printing drum 6. In the rest position, the (ee - end pressure elements 8, 9 and the clamping device 34 - assume the rest position shown in dash-dotted lines; the counter pressure cylinder 33 is exactly on the pressure line.
The way in which the supply line works is as follows: Will the axis? with the printing drum 6 and the gears 4 and 5, the axis 3 with the counter-pressure elements 8, 9 and 12, 13 arranged on it in rotation, then the counter-pressure element 8, 9 soon after the start of rotation, the header text K on the Print the imported paper. With further rotation of the axes and thus the printing drum 6, the paper to be printed remains because no counter pressure is exerted and the paper is loaded by the spring 26; this continues until the counter-pressure element 12, 13 has come up, grips the paper and prints the line that has just been set.
In doing so, the paper has been pulled out from under the spring 26 and can therefore slide on over the depositing table 29 after the second pressure. During the further movement of the axis 3, the pawl cams 15a and 15b push against deal to stop 20 and thereby switch the counter pressure element 12, 13 by one tooth; this happens with each revolution until the limit position corresponding to the last line on the print original is reached. The return of the counter-pressure elements 12, 13 in the initial position is done by hand by lifting the cams 15a and 15b.
If the paper to be printed does not have the intended height, a device must be provided which, after printing by the counter-pressure element 12, 13, lifts the spring 26 from the paper; such devices are known and not the subject of the invention.
In order to work properly, it is only necessary to dimension the notches on the left-hand disk 7 so that each time it is switched on, it is exactly the desired size, e.g. B. the height of a line. Of course, other dimensions can also be selected. It can be seen that the circular arc between the two counter-pressure elements 8, 9 and 12, 13 must be exactly the same as the circular arc between the header text and the line to be printed. It is then only necessary for the header text K and the individual lines on the original to be printed to adhere to the specified distances from the clamping line.
If the entire original is to be printed instead of parts, the axis 3 is shifted by pressing the button 17 until the pawl 18 engages behind the detent disk 18a; in the new position the gears 4 and 5 are disengaged. By turning the eccentric 32, the necessary pressure of the counter-pressure roller 33 is produced. When the machine is working, axis 3 now remains at rest and it rotates. The counterpressure roller 33 merely moves together with the printing drum 6 as a result of the friction, so that the machine works like the known transfer printing machines.
It is sometimes necessary not to print the individual lines in the order they appear on the original, but in any order and selection. It is also occasionally necessary to print individual lines several times instead of just once. Serves for this. the device according to FIGS. 3 and 4, which represents nothing other than a movable mounting of the stop pin 20, which was fixedly mounted in the left side wall 1 in FIGS. Now the axis 3 is in a suitable place, e.g.
B. enclosed in the side wall 1 by a sleeve 31 which carries an arm 35 on which the angle lever. 36 is hinged; The stop pin 20 is seated in the knee thereof. The lever 36 is under the action of the spring 37, so that the stop pin 20 normally rests against the lever 35. On the outside of the sleeve 34 sits an adjusting button 38, through which the sleeve with the lever 35 carrying the stop pin 20 can be rotated. Seated between sleeve 34 and adjusting knob 38. Another intermediate piece 39 with the arm 40 and the stop pin 41 attached to it.
The entire device described is under the influence of the cable 42 with the spring 43. The movement to the right is limited by the fact that the stop pin 41 see against a step of the lever 44 mounted on the side wall 1 rotatably. By lifting this lever 44, the f #, esainte arrangement is given the freedom to look to the right at a certain angle until the stop pin 41 rests on the second stage of the lever 44.
In this Win angle movement, the stop pin 20 has accumulated on an inclined surface 45 and thereby ran out of the path of the cams 15a and 15b; there is therefore no longer any automatic switching and the line just set for printing can be printed as often as required.
The free choice of line is seen by pushing the movable stop pin 20 against the safety notices 15a and 15b.
In Fig. 5, a second embodiment of the subject invention is shown. As in turn, the same numbers denote the same or. corresponding parts. The figure shows a view from the right of the machine with the right side wall removed. A Noekensheibe 46 with Noeken 46a sits firmly connected to it on the shaft 3. On the sleeve 10 sits an arm with a Noeken 11 and a stepped disk 7 connected to it. The lever 30, which carries the counterpressure roller 33 and is rotatably mounted, carries a roller that rolls on the Noekenseheibe 46 and can be lifted by the Noeken 46r and 11. As the machine rotates, these Noeken bring the counter-pressure roller 33 into the working position twice in succession and achieve the same effect as the two pressure segments of the first embodiment.
Two two-armed levers 47 and 48 are also rotatably mounted on the cam disk 46, the first of which is a ratchet segment 47a. and carries a stop pin 47b, while on the other one a spring-loaded holding pawl 48a is rotatably mounted. When the axis 3 rotates, the lower lever arm of the lever 48 slides over the stop pin 20, whereby the stop pawl 48a engages the locking tooth segment 47a and rotates the lever 47 so far that the stop pin 47b comes out of the step of the stepped pulley 7. The stepped disk 7 rotates under the influence of the spring 14 until the stop pin 47b reads in the next step. With each rotation of the axis 3 he follows such a continuation by one step. With the cam arm 11 and the step washer 7 a ring gear 49 is still verbun.
the one that engages a gear 50 seated on the axle 51. If this axis is turned to the left, the Noekenarm 11 is turned back into its starting position. It can of course be stopped at this twisting hen at any desired level. The lever 52 is used to adjust the cam arm 11 in the opposite direction, in that the stepped disk 7 is gradually released by pressing the left, short arm of the lever 47. On the gear 50, a narrow drum 53 is also attached, on the circumference of which the individual stages or lines of the Druckorigi are noted; a cover plate with a window 55 is attached in such a way that it can be read through this which level or line is set for printing.
The retention of the teeth 4, 5 takes place in the same way as in the first exemplary embodiment.
In addition to the two embodiments shown, other forms of execution are good. conceivable; for example, it is possible to derive the control of the counter pressure elements directly from the pressure axis. The inventive method is still not limited to the imprint of two places of an original; it can also be done by using several of the examples in The means shown can be extended to the A.bdruek from three or more places of an original.
