Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 252533.    Verfahren     zur        Herstellung    eines     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller       Küpenfarbstoff    hergestellt werden kann,     wenn     man     1-Amino-4-        (p-[N-dimethyl]-sulfamid-          benzoylamino)-antliraehinon    mit einem funk  tionellen Derivat der     Naphtlialin-fl-carbon-          säure    umsetzt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in     konz.     Schwefelsäure mit     orangebrauner    Farbe und  färbt Baumwolle aus blauvioletter     Küpe    in  echten blaustichig roten Tönen.  



  Als funktionelles Derivat der genannten       Carbonsäure        kann    mit Vorteil ein Säurehalo  genid, beispielsweise das Säurechlorid, verwen  det. werden. Die Umsetzung kann beispiels  weise in     einem    indifferenten Lösungsmittel,       vorzugsweise    von relativ hohem     Siedepunkt,     wie Nitrobenzol, Mono-,     Di-    oder     Trichlorben-          zol,    vorgenommen werden, wobei vorteilhaft  bei erhöhter Temperatur gearbeitet wird.  



       Beispiel:     17,5 Teile     Naplithalin-f-carbonsäure    wer  den in 300 Teilen trockenem Nitrobenzol ver  teilt und nach Zufügen von 15 Teilen     Thionyl-          chlorid    anderthalb Stunden bei 80  verrührt.  Hierauf wird die Lösung mit 44,9 Teilen       1-Amino-4-    (p-     [N-dimethyl]    -s     ulfamid-benzoyl-          amino)-anthracliinon    versetzt und zwei Stun-    den bei 120 bis 130  gerührt. Nach dem Erkal  ten wird der in dunkelroten Kristallen auskri  stallisierte Farbstoff abgesaugt, gut mit ko  chendem Alkohol gewaschen und getrocknet.

The reaction can, for example, be carried out in an inert solvent, preferably of a relatively high boiling point, such as nitrobenzene, mono-, di- or trichlorobenzene, it being advantageous to work at elevated temperature.



       Example: 17.5 parts of naplithalin-f-carboxylic acid are distributed in 300 parts of dry nitrobenzene and, after 15 parts of thionyl chloride have been added, the mixture is stirred at 80 for one and a half hours. The solution is then mixed with 44.9 parts of 1-amino-4- (p- [N-dimethyl] -sulfamid-benzoylamino) -anthracliinone and stirred at 120 to 130 hours. After cooling, the dye which has crystallized out in dark red crystals is filtered off with suction, washed thoroughly with boiling alcohol and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1-Am ino-4- (p- [N-dimethyl] - sulfamid-benzoyl- a.mino) -anthrachinon mit einem funktionellen Derivat der Naphthalin-fl-carbonsäure um setzt. Der neue Farbstoff löst sieh in konz. Schwefelsäure mit orangebrauner Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus blauvioletter Küpe in echten blaustichig roten Tönen. UNTERANSPRÜCHE: 1.
