Valve with a control device having an electric motor for driving the valve, in particular for gas lines. The invention relates to a valve with a control device having an electric motor for driving the valve, in particular for gas lines. In the previously known valves of this type be the disadvantage that if there is no current, the open valve is no longer closed by the driving motor who can and therefore remains in the open position.
As safety valves, which must shut off the flow medium (gas, water or the like) with safety in the event of a hazard, such motor valves could not previously. can be used because, as already mentioned, in the event of a power failure, the open valve was not closed and the fluid that continued to flow could cause damage.
According to the invention, the mentioned disadvantage is remedied in that between the adjustable valve closure body and the sen drive device an electroma.gne- tiseh actuated coupling device is provided, which is decoupled when the electrical current fails, whereupon the valve automatically closes under the action of a feedback force becomes. This ensures that in the event of a power failure, the open valve is always closed with certainty, which significantly expands the application range of such valves. becomes.
In a particularly advantageous manner, the engine valve according to the invention can also be used in safety systems for Gasfeueriungen in which the engine circuit can be controlled by an ignition fuse and, if necessary, also by other control means.
The drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments from the subject matter of the invention. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment in connection with a safety system with ignition protection for gas firing in a schematic representation and FIG. 2 shows another exemplary embodiment in connection with the same security system as FIG.
In the example according to FIG. 1, the ignition fuse consists of an igniter housing 1 to which an ignition flame nozzle 2 and a heating flame nozzle 3 are connected. The pilot flame is used to ignite the gas flowing out of the main burner 4, while the heating flame heats the thermocouple 5. The ignition gas is supplied through a line 6 connected to the igniter housing is burdened in the closing sense.
The valve 7 is connected to a valve spindle 9 whose end protruding from the housing 1 penetrates an electromagnet 10 and ends at a short distance from a movable armature plate 11 of the Magne 10. The winding ends of the elec tromagnets 10 are with. connected to the poles of the thermocouple 5. The armature plate 1. is attached to a control pin 12 displaceably mounted in the axial direction of the valve spindle 9, which carries a con tact part 13 at its free end, which connects two switch contacts 14, 14 'with each other as soon as it touches them.
A control pin 15 rests on the contact part 13, which carries a push button 16 at its free end and is also guided displaceably in the axial direction of the valve spindle 9. At a distance from the contact piece 13, the control pin 15 carries a contact piece 17 which connects two switch contacts 18, 18 'to one another as soon as it touches them. One on the control pin. 12 einwir kende spring 19 endeavors to control the pin in such a way. to move that the contact piece 17 is pressed against the contacts 18, 18 '.
To a ver provided with a shut-off valve 20 main gas supply line 21, the housing 22 of the main gas valve is ruled out, from which the ignition gas line 6 and the main burner line 23 are branched. The end of the main burner line 23 protruding into the housing 22 is designed as a valve seat and interacts with a valve body 24 which is connected to the armature 25 of an electromagnet 2 6. The armature 25 is loaded by a spring 27 in the direction of closing the main gas valve.
The magnet 26 is connected to a displaceable spindle 28 protruding from the housing 22 which carries a part designed as a rack 29 into which a pinion 30 engages, which is driven by an electric motor 31 directly or via a transmission gear. The upper end 34 of the spindle 28, which is provided with two adjusting screws 32, 33, controls the switching lever 35 of an extension and reversing holder 36, which is connected to the motor 31 in a corresponding manner by a cable 37.
The two ends of the winding of the elec tromagnets 26 are connected by the lines 38 to the contacts 14 ', 18', to which the motor 31 is also connected. In the motor circuit is. however, a circuit breaker contact 40 which is controlled by a thermostat 41 is switched on through the line 39. becomes. The contacts 14, 18 are connected to a power supply line 42.
The device according to Fig.l works fol gendermassen: In the position shown see the system in the rest position. To start up the push button 7 6 and thus the control pin l:] against the We effect of the spring 19 is moved. The contact piece 17 is lifted off the holder contacts 18, 18 ', so that the connection between these contacts is interrupted. The control pin 15 simultaneously moves the control pin 12 in such a way that the contact part 13 is pressed against the contacts 14, 14 'and the armature 11 is pressed against the poles of the electromagnet 10. becomes.
The armature 11 moves the valve spindle 9, whereby the ignition gas valve 7 is opened against the action of the spring 8. The ignition gas then flows from line 6 to nozzles 2 and 3, where the ignition flame and the heating flame are ignited by an ignition flame or by an automatic ignition device. The thermocouple 5 is now heated and generates electricity, so that the electromagnet 10 is excited. and the anchor 11 holds. The push button 16 is then released, whereupon the spring 19 pushes the control pin 15 back into its starting position.
The contact piece 17 is pressed against the contacts 18, 18 ', while the other contact part 13 is held by the armature 11 adhering to the magnet 1.0 in a position connecting its contacts 14, 14'. As a result, the circuit from the lines 42 to the lines 38 is closed.
The further commissioning, operational control after lighting and switching off. the system is switched on. now automatically. The electromagnet 26 and the motor 31 are connected to the circuit so that the magnet holds the armature 25 against the action of the spring 27 and the motor drives the pinion 30. As a result, the spindle 28 is raised, which also lifts the magnet 26, the armature 25 and the valve body 24, so that the main gas valve is opened. The gas flowing through the burner line 23 to the main burner 4 is ignited by the pilot flame.
After a certain th opening stroke of the spindle 28, the adjusting screw 33 switches the switching lever 35, where the motor 31 is switched off and the spindle 28 remains in this open position. The system is now in operation.
As soon as the heat generated by the main burner 4 rises above a certain value, the heat sensor 41- responds and opens the contact 40, whereby the current circuit 39 is interrupted. This has the consequence that a relay (not shown) in the reversing switch 36 responds and switches on the 3l otor 31 in a direction of rotation opposite to the valve lift direction, the motor 31 now being connected to the power supply via an auxiliary line 59 and lines 38. From the rack 39 engaging the pinion 30, the spindle 28 is moved downward until the Ven tilkörper 24 rests on its seat.
This interrupts the gas supply to the burner 4, so that the main burner flames go out. When the main gas valve closes, the adjusting screw 32 has switched the switching lever 35 so that the motor 31 stops. If the temperature monitored by the sensor 41 falls below the setpoint, the contact 40 is closed again and the circuit 39 is switched on. The relay responds again, so that the motor 37 opens the main gas valve again in the manner already described.
If there is no gas supply to nozzles 2 and 3 during operation, the ignition and fire flames go out. The thermocouple 3 is no longer heated and the electromagnet 10 is de-energized, so that it lets go of the armature 11. The spring 8 closes the ignition gas valve 7, and the valve spindle 9 pushes the armature 11 into the position shown in the drawing, whereby the connection between the contacts 14, 14 'is interrupted.
Since the circuit 38 is interrupted and the electromagnet 26 is de-energized, so that it releases its armature 25, which then pushes the spring 27 into the valve closing position, where the entire system is switched off.
The gas supply line to the burner 4 is automatically switched off even if the current from the supply line 42 fails, so that the electromagnetic clutch 25, 26 is released in the event of a power failure, despite the fact that the clutch is raised The spindle 28 remains in the position, the main gas valve 24 is closed by the spring 27. After such a shutdown, in order to restart the system, the spindle 28 must first be brought back into the valve-closed position, which can be done in a simple manner by switching on the motor 31 accordingly.
In the embodiment of Figure 2 with the Figure 1 have basically been provided with the same reference signs on matching parts. The loaded by a spring 43 in the valve closing sense Ventilkör by 24 is attached to a thin steel wire 44, the other end of which drum 45 is attached to a rope. The use of a wire 44 for lifting the valve body 24 has the advantage that the necessary implementation of the wire through the housing 22 can be made gas-tight with simple means and reliable. and because of the small size of the wire, only small frictional forces can occur.
The cable drum 45 can via a claw clutch 46, 47 and a transmission gear 48, 49 from the motor 3l. be driven, which revolves only in one direction of rotation. The coupling part 46 is. attached to the shaft 50 of the cable drum, while the coupling part 47 is guided ver slidably on a shaft 51 driven by the gear 48. The adjustable coupling part 47 can be set by a lever 52, which is pulled by a spring 53 into the end position shown, in which the coupling parts 46, 47 are out of engagement.
The shift lever 52 is still connected to the armature 54 of an electromagnet 55, which, when excited, pulls the armature 54 into itself and thereby adjusts the shift lever 52 against the action of the spring 53 in such a way that the coupling parts 46, 47 engage with each other Intervention. The motor 31 and the electromagnet 55 are connected to the circuit 38 controlled by the ignition fuse. The breaker contact 40 controlled by the heat sensor 41 is switched into the circuit of the electromagnet 55 through the line 39.
The wire 44 carries a switch 56 which, when the valve disk 24 is lifted, sets itself against an adjusting screw 57 after a certain opening stroke, while the pair of contacts 58 lifts from each other, whereby the circuit of the motor is interrupted.
The device according to FIG. 2 operates as follows: If the circuit of the ignition fuse is switched on in the inoperative position according to FIG. 2, the motor 31 and the electromagnet 55 receive current from the line 38, so that the motor starts and , since the contact 40 is closed, the elec tromagnet 55 is excited and pulls the armature 54 into itself .. As a result, the clutch 46, 47 is engaged via the lever 52 and the cable drum 48 is rotated so that the wire 44 is wound onto the drum and the valve body 24 against the We effect of the spring 43 is raised.
After a certain opening stroke, which can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screw 57, the switching arm 56 lifts the pair of contacts 58 away from one another, so that the motor 31 stops and the valve 24 is held in the open position. The system is in the operating state.
As soon as the sensor 41 interrupts the pair of contacts 40 during operation, the circuit of the electromagnet 55 is switched off, which now releases the armature 54. The spring 53 then pulls the armature 54 and the lever 52 into the position shown in the drawing, the coupling part 47 being displaced in such a way that it is no longer in engagement with the coupling part 46. Since the cable drum 45 is no longer held by the clutch 46, 47, the force of the tensioned spring 43 can have an effect and close the valve. The same effect occurs if the electricity fails completely. When the valve 24 closes, the contact pair 58 is closed again, so that the circuit of the motor 31 is closed again.
This circuit is particularly suitable for systems in which the pair of contacts 40 is only briefly interrupted. If the pair of contacts 40 is closed, the clutch 46, 47 is switched on at the same time, and the valve 24 is opened again in the manner already described. In such systems, in which the vbm sensor 41-controlled contact pair 40 is interrupted for a long time, it is advisable to keep the motor 31 switched off during this period.
This can be achieved in a number of ways in that the contact pair 58 or another contact pair to be provided in the motor circuit is influenced by the switching means of the clutch 46, 47 in such a way that the motor remains switched off during the entire switch-off period of the clutch . When the clutch is switched on again, the motor is switched on again and the valve is opened at the same time.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 has the particular advantage that the motor 31 only ever runs in one direction of rotation, so that a special reversing switch can be completely eliminated and the system is correspondingly simpler and cheaper.
