La présente invention a pour objet un cintre comprenant une tête, une traverse per- liendiculaire à cette tête et assemblée avec elle, et, deux bras articulés autour de ladite - traverse, les extrémités rapprochées des deux bras étant guidées dans des rainures prati- (luées dans ladite tête, ces bras étant ainsi susceptibles de s'adapter au profil des épaules < I Li vêtement suspendu.

Les deux bras 4 sont articulés autour d'axes métalliques 5, traversant la traverse 7, elle-même assemblée avec la, tête 2 par eolla-e et pointes 10, comme figuré.
La. partie de dessous de chaque bras 4 présente une rainure 6 dans laquelle peut pénétrer plus ou moins, selon l'inclinaison du- dit bras, l'extrémité de la traverse 7 autour de laquelle le bras est articulé.
Une tringle 8, destinée à la suspension d'un pantalon ou d'une jupe, est fixée, pm- les crochets métalliques 9, à la traverse 7.
Selon le profil des épaules du vêtement suspendu, les bras 4 prennent une position déterminée, s'adaptant audit profil. Il y a lieu de remarquer que le choix de l'emplace ment des points d'articulation 5 sur les bras 4 a de l'importance. Il est en effet désirable que ces points d'articulation soient voisins des centres de gravité des bras, afin que la posi tion de ceux-ci soit pratiquement indifférente, et, d'autre part, que ces mêmes points soient voisins de l'emplacement des épaulettes qui caractérisent pratiquement le profil des épaules desdits vêtements. Sur le cintre repré senté, les bras 4 sont articulés au tiers de ceux-ci à partir de leur extrémité.
