Surface vibrator. The present invention is a surface vibrator with a plate which can be set in a vibrating movement. Such vibrators are used for compacting Bo denbeläge, with vibrating masses usually simultaneously pushing the plate forward. This forward movement, however, is only ensured with a sufficiently firm base, while it is not necessary with a base made of flexible, soft material.
In the latter cases, additional prime movers must therefore be used to move the vibrator. The arrangement of the motor above the vibrating plate also requires good cushioning of the former in order to keep the vibrations away from the motor. In addition, these known constructions have the disadvantage that the motor is tied to the vibrator and unproductively stands still when the vibrator is not is used. This disadvantage is now remedied in accordance with the invention in that a direct drive of the vibrating plate is seen in front, and this drive takes place from a mobile drive machine, for example a tractor.
In the accompanying drawings, for example, embodiments of the subject of the invention are shown schematically, namely Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a first embodiment, Fig. 2 is a side view and Fig. 3 is a cross section; 4 shows a second variant in side view, and FIGS. 5 and 6 show a further embodiment in two views.
In Figs. 1 to 3 of the drawings, 1 denotes an axis of a drive machine, for example a tractor, on which the wheels of 2 are arranged. The chassis frame 3 of this motor carries a belt pulley 4, which is driven by the shaft of the drive machine in the manner shown riveted. A frame 7 resting on a chassis 6 is attached to the tractor by means of a drawbar 5. The mentioned chassis 6 rests on wheels 8, which can either take the position shown in phantom in Fig. 2 or the position shown in solid lines.
In the first case, the vibrating plate 9 is lifted from the ground and is therefore ready to drive in its out-of-use position. In the position shown in solid lines, on the other hand, the wheels are located above the underside of the plate 9 so that the latter rests on the base.
The drive of the vibrating device takes place from the belt pulley 4 with the belt 10 via a countershaft with belt pulley 11, shaft 12, belt pulley 13 and the belt 16 on the belt pulley 15, the latter causing the shaft 14 to rotate. The shaft 14 actuates, in a manner known per se, oscillating, for example rotating or reciprocating masses, which give the plate 9 a vibrating movement. To put the vibrating plate 9 into operation, it is sufficient to place the belt 10 over the belt pulleys 4, 11.
On the other hand, when the vibrator is switched off and ready for transport, the chassis of the vibrator is folded down so that the plate 9 is lifted from the ground. When the vibrator is out of operation, the tractor is uncoupled and comes to a standstill. available for other uses. It is therefore in the out-of-use position of the vibrating plate not a -Motor stopped that is not capable of any other use.
In the working position, the vibratory plate with the tractor is moved over the surface to be worked on by the reaction of the vibration shocks on the ground. As soon as soft material is to be processed that does not generate a pre-stroke reaction, the tractor's clutch is switched on for forward movement, which in turn moves the vibrating plate along.
The second embodiment of the Vi'brator illustrated in FIG. 4 is particularly suitable for vibrating concrete, full dams and dams. On a cable 20, the support structure 21 is suspended, which a motor ?? wearing.
The same acts via disks 23, 4 on an aluminum drive disk 25, which in turn acts on the eccentric disk 27 of the vibrating plate 28 by means of a belt drive 6. This latter, together with the eccentric device, is suspended on a cable 29, adjustable in height. The operating levers 30, 31 serve on the one hand to regulate the height of the vibrator and on the other hand to put the motor 22 in and out of operation.
The means that are mentioned in detail to control the. Elements are not used in the present case. described in more detail. Here, too, the idea of equipping the vibrating plate with an indirect drive is essential. This embodiment is suitable. even with a corresponding design of the vibrating plate for ramming piles and sheet pile walls, in which case a vibration that acts back and forth in the vertical direction is used.
The construction according to FIGS. 5 and 6 is used to compress the ballast, on wel Chen in a known manner the Eisenbahnschwel len are laid. The drive machine is denoted by 40 and has a motor 41 which, via a belt drive 42, carries a known eccentric device line 33. By means of the latter, the rammers 34 are set in vibrating motion.
The working height of the tamper 3.1 is determined by the height adjustable arm 36 by means of a hi draulisehen lifting device 35, which is pivotable about a pin 37 .. The actuation of the hydraulic device 35 he follows in a well-known verse and is not described in more detail.
