Fig. 5 einen teilweisen Horizontalsehnitt durch dasselbe Gelenk.
Motor mower.
The present invention relates to a motor mower with a mower blade which can be moved to and fro and which is connected to its drive in an articulated manner with a pivotable rocker arm which is operatively connected to a crank mechanism.
In such mowing machines, the disadvantage of mowing is often noticeable, that the drive elements of the mower blade, which swing back and forth at home, set the entire chassis of the machine in vibrations, which when mowing are very tiring for the person operating the machine.
The inventive. This Mähmasehine is now. characterized in that between the crank mechanism and at least a part of the reciprocating elements at least one elastically flexible member is held, for the purpose of keeping the vibrations occurring during operation of the machine away from the chassis of the machine as possible.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, namely shows:
Fig. I is a plan view of part of a motor mower with a portal knife bar suspended at its ends, partly in a horizontal section,
Fig. 2 a part of the mower in Be tenansicht and partially cut along the line II-II in Fig.1,
Fig. 3 shows a cross section along the line III-III in Fig. 2, on a larger scale,
4 shows a partial vertical section through the joint between the connecting rod and the rocker arm,
5 shows a partial horizontal section through the same joint.
According to FIG. 1, the mower has two wheels 1 and 2, which are connected by an axle 3 to form a chassis. On this chassis there is a drive mechanism accommodated in a housing 4, which has a gear for driving the wheels 1 and 2 as well as the mowing device in front of the chassis and which is connected to an internal combustion engine not shown in the drawing.
The Mähvorriehtung has a gantry cutter bar 6 suspended at its ends, which is arranged between the legs of a bracket 7, also called a portal. The web of the bracket 7 is divided in the middle, the two parts being arranged coaxially to one another on a sleeve 8 which is firmly connected to a sleeve 8a arranged concentrically to it (FIG. 2). A bushing 4a is attached to the gear housing 4. nscht, such that its longitudinal center axis is at least approximately horizontally in the vertical longitudinal center plane of the machine.
The sleeve 8a is detachably and rotatably inserted into this sleeve 4a. To secure against an axial displacement of the sleeve 8a, it has a circumferential groove 8b into which a locking bolt 4b inserted in a recess of the sleeve a, which is also indicated in FIG.
The drive arrangement accommodated in the housing 4 has an output shaft 4c located coaxially to the bushing 4a, which is indicated in FIG. which is coupled to the shaft 4c by splines and grooves. When the securing bolt 4b is pulled out, the mowing device can be separated from the chassis, whereby the axle 8d automatically detaches from the shaft 4c. Conversely, when the mowing device is attached to the chassis, the axle 8c is automatically coupled to the shaft 4c.
The loosening and attachment of the mowing device can thus take place without the aid of tools.
At the free end of the drive shaft 8d sits a crank disk 10 which carries a crank pin 10a which is eccentric to the axis 8d and which is seated in a recess in the disk 10 so that it cannot rotate. By means of a ball bearing 20, a sleeve 21 is rotatably mounted on the crank pin 10a, which has a circumferential groove on its outer circumference in which a ring 22 made of elastic material, for example rubber, rests on the outside of the sleeve encircles.
A ring 11a, 11b arranged at one end of a connecting rod 11 surrounds the elastic ring 22 on the outside and consists of two parts 11a and 11b, which are axially adjacent and partially including the elastic ring 22 between them.
The part 11a that overlaps the other bell-shaped part is attached to the connecting rod 11.
The other end of the connecting rod 11 is connected in an articulated manner to one arm of a two-armed rocking lever 12 which is mounted on one arm of the bracket 7 so that it can pivot about a pin 12a. To connect the connecting rod 1 to the rocker arm 12, a ball joint 11c, 12b is used, which consists of a joint socket 1lc attached to the connecting rod and a spherical pin 12b that engages in this and is spherical at the free end and is inserted into the relevant arm of the rocker arm 12 , as clearly borrowed from FIG. In the wall of the joint socket 11c, a piston 11d is displaceably mounted in a direction that is radial to the recess of the socket and is approximately at right angles to the longitudinal center axis of the pin 12b.
This piston is hollow and partially houses a spring 1, which is supported at one end against the bottom of the piston and at the other end against a pin 11 which diametrically penetrates the guide recess for the piston. The spring 11d tends to always press the piston 11 (?) Against the spherical part of the pin 12b, thereby avoiding play in the ball joint, which essentially contributes to the noise-free operation of the mower.
The other arm of the rocker arm 12 is articulated with the knife 6a of the cutter bar 6, which can be moved back and forth. At each end of the Wesserbal- kens 6 there is also an adjustable guide member 13 which guides the mowing of the mown material between the wheels 1 and @ of the machine. The machine is guided on a spar 23, which is only partially shown in FIG. 1.
When mowing, the shafts 4c and 8d rotate about the axis 9, and with the help of the crank mechanism 10, 10a and the connecting rod 11, the rocker arm 12 is set in reciprocating pivoting movements that drive the cutter. By means of the elastic ring 22, the vibrations caused by the elements 11, 12 and 6a oscillating back and forth are largely absorbed and thereby kept away from the drive mechanism and the chassis of the machine. This not only results in a more pleasant guiding of the mower, but also in a much quieter operation of the same. Furthermore, the elastic member 22 increases the service life of the bearings of the drive axle 8d and the shaft 4c.
Of course, it would also be possible to connect a differently designed, elastically resilient member between the crank mechanism and the reciprocating elements of the mowing device. The elastic member could e.g. B. also consist of a pneumatic we kenden damping cylinder. The link could possibly also between the connecting rod 11 and the rocker arm 12? be switched on, or it would be conceivable that elastic members are turned into at several points of the drive mechanism of the mowing device.
