Shock-absorbing bearing for a timepiece. The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing bearing for a timepiece, comprising. a hollow body, of generally cylindrical shape, constituting. a support in which are housed a counter-pivot a pad and an elastic device. against the action of which these elements move when impacted by the shaft intended to be pivoted in this bearing.
This bearing is characterized by the fact that this hollow body is formed from two parts placed one on top of the other, with a view to facilitating the assembly and disassembly of the bearing.
The accompanying drawing represents, to. by way of example, several embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an axial section of a first embodiment of a bearing.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of a detail of this bearing, on a reduced scale.
Fig. 3 is a plan view of a detail of a variant.
Fig. 4 is a section on IV-TV of FIG. 3.
Fig. 5 is an axial section of a second embodiment.
Fig. 6 is. an axial section of a variant.
Fig. 7 is an axial section of a third embodiment.
Fig. 8 is. a plan view of a detail of this embodiment, on a reduced scale. Fig. 9 is. an axial section of a qua trième embodiment. Fig. 1.0 is. a bottom view of a detail of this embodiment, on a reduced scale, and FIG. 11 is a bottom view, corresponding to that of FIG. 10, of a variant. The bearing shown in fig. 1 is a shock-absorbing bearing for a clockwork balance. The balance shaft is designated by 1, the cock by 2 and the bearing support. at the same time serving as a cockerel for racket 3, par 4.
This support encloses a counter-pivot stone 5 mounted in a chaton 6, a pierced stone 7 mounted in the center of a spiral spring 8 intended to damp the radial shocks to which the shaft 1 is subjected and an annular spring 9 having internal projections 9a taking. bearing on the counter-pivot stone 5 and intended to absorb the axial shocks which the shaft 1 su bit. The support 4, consisting of a hollow body of generally cylindrical shape, is formed of two parts: on the one hand, a main body 10 forced into the cock 2, on the other hand, a cover 11 fitted in an annular groove 12 of the main body 10 and located on the side of the counter-pivot. This cover is pierced with a large central opening 13, so that it has the shape of a ring.
It serves as a support for the spring. 9 and has an outer annular shoulder 11a by means of which it is grasped to separate it from the main body 10. For this purpose, the latter has two radical clearances 14 leading to each other. under the shoulder 11a and which allow the introduction of a tool. The advantage of the two-piece support 4 lies in the fact that we can remove all the components of the bearing without having to. remove the main body from the cock 2: it suffices to remove the cover 11. This arrangement greatly facilitates the oiling and cleaning of the bearing. It also facilitates the installation of the spring 9.
Figs. 3 and 4 illustrate a variant of the return spring of the counter-pivot. In this variant, the spring, designated by 34, is a curvilinear triangle exhibiting at. each of its vertices an interior projection 34a slightly bent upwards.
In the embodiment of FIG. 5, the support 15 of the bearing is also in two parts. It comprises a main body 16 forced into the. plate 17 and a cover 18 having an annular flange 18a fitted in the main body 16. The cover is located inside the bearing, that is to say on the side of the bearing and is crossed by the shaft 1. A central boss 18b of this cover serves as a stop for the radial and axial movements of the shaft 1.
Fig. 6 illustrates a variant similar to the embodiment of FIG. 5. In this variant, the centering spring 35 supporting the pierced stone 36 is not located entirely inside the cover 37, but only partially. In fact, in this variant, the annular part 35c of the spring 35 is located outside the rim 37a of the cover and is fitted in the plate 17. The rim 37a is pierced with a radial passage 38 for a radial arm. 35b of the spring.
This arrangement is favorable to the centering of the res sort, the position of which depends on a bore of the plate, is. more precise than if it depended on the. inner face of the edge of the cover, as is the case in the embodiment of FIG. 5. The centering of the drilled stone is thus improved.
The arrangements shown in fig. 5 and 6 enable the bearing, which is a lower bearing, located in the plate, to be removed from the bridge side of the movement, which eliminates the need to remove the dial.
In fig. 7, the bearing support com takes a main body 19 and an annular cover 20. The latter is. located on the side of the counter-pivot \.? 7. East. split in 21. It has a frustoconical outer surface 22 fitted into a corresponding seat 23 of the main body 19. Clearances 24 are made in the ring 20, in the vicinity of its slot 21. These clearances are used for the introduction of a tweezer which allows the ring 20 to be closed slightly for assembly and disassembly. The inner face of the ring 20 has a groove 25, of shallow depth, in which the spring 9 is housed.
Thanks to. This arrangement, the spring does not separate from the ring 20 when the latter is disassembled.
In this embodiment, the pad 26 is made of metal and has a part 26a. which serves as a seat for the counter-pivot stone 27. This part 26a has a frustoconical bearing 28 resting on a corresponding seat 19a. of the main body 19. During the radial displacements of the shaft 1, the bearing 26 slides on the seat 19a and is biased by the spring 9.
In the embodiment of FIG. 9, the bearing support comprises a main body 29 and a cover 30; it is the cover, located on the side of the bearing pad, which has an interior seat 30a. on which rests the part 31a, of the metal pad 31. The main body 29 has two tangential recesses 32 which allow the introduction of a tool under an annular rim 30b of the cover 30 with a view to its dismantling. As a variant, these tangential clearances 32 could be replaced by radial clearances 33 as shown in FIG. 11.
It should be noted that, in the embodiments of FIGS. 7 and 9, the pad could be a stone added in a metallic chain.
