Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 243ö69. Überdruckventil, insbesondere für Dampfkochtöpfe. Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein ins besondere für Dampfkochtöpfe bestimmtes Überdruckventil mit einem axial längs eines hohlen Schaftes verschiebbaren und frei dreh- baren Gewicht, durch welches der Ventilkör per auf den a-nr Seliaftende vorgesehenen Ven tilsitz ;
Additional patent to main patent No. 243ö69. Overpressure valve especially for pressure cookers. The subject of the main patent is an overpressure valve intended in particular for pressure cookers with a freely rotatable weight axially displaceable along a hollow shaft, by which the valve body via the valve seat provided on the a-no.
-drüekt, with a resilient element is provided, -elches for the purpose of V erinei- <iung an unwanted throwing off the weight whose axial displacement be limited and still allows removal of the Ge weight. In this way, it is sufficient that the valve is easily accessible for cleaning.
In the execution of the valve according to the sub-claim of the main patent, the resilient element consists of a sleeve arranged on the shaft with a slotted, protruding edge that interacts with a deposition in the cavity of the weight.
This version of the pressure relief valve, which is identified in the patent application and the sub-patent application, is experienced.
According to the present invention, a further development in that the cavity of the weight has a second offset that is moved upwards with regard to the intended offset, which can be brought into cooperation with the protruding edge of the sleeve present on the shaft by pressing down the weight from its standby position, to secure the weight in the axial direction. If so desired, it equips the axial reading of the weight on the shaft, so that steam is prevented from escaping,
B. special. in the case of the transport of the steam boiling pot equipped with the pressure relief valve, which has been put into operation. can be.
A Z'berdruekventil according to the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing in an exemplary embodiment in axial section. It shows: Fig. 1. the valve in the ready state and Fig. \? the valve with axial; increased weight.
The drawn Cber-pressure valve is by means of its hollow shaft 1 and a nut screwed on it. on the cover 3, z. B. a pressure cooker, releasably attached; 1.1 is an intermediate ring used for fastening. The upper end of the shaft 1 serves as a seat for the valve body -I, which is formed by a bolt which is guided axially ver by means of a Bun of 4 'in an upper, central recess 6' of the bell-shaped weight 6. is.
A compression spring 12 arranged in the mentioned recess 6 'endeavors to press the valve body 1 with its collar> 1' elastically against the end wall of the recess 6 '. Said spring 12 is supported on a cover 13 screwed onto the weight 6; This has a central opening for the valve body 4 to pass through.
The weight 6 having a handle part 5 hangs in the standby position (Fig. 1) supported by the spring 1.2 freely rotatable bar on the valve body 4. The weight 6 has holes 7 on the circumference, which are used for the escape of steam when the overpressure in the saucepan Valve body 4 is lifted from its seat. The sleeve 8 is fastened to the support 1 and is divided into resilient tabs by axial slots, which are bent downwards so that they together form a correspondingly protruding outer edge 9.
According to FIG. 1, an annular shoulder 10 provided in the cavity of the weight 6 on its lower edge can interact with this in such a way that if there is overpressure in the saucepan, the weight 6 can be raised axially at most until its shoulder 10 on 1lülsen- edge 9 is applied; it then occurs the steam between rule valve body 4 and valve seat and through the holes 7 therethrough.
In spite of this, the weight 6 can be easily removed from the shaft 1 by hand for cleaning the valve and placed back onto the shaft, the edge 9 of the sleeve 8 yielding in each case resiliently.
The cavity of the weight 6 also has an annular step 14 atlf, which is relocated to a certain extent upwards with regard to the aforementioned step 10 and possibly in turn brought together with the protruding edge 9 of the sleeve 8. can be. This is done by pressing down the weight 6 accordingly while tensioning the spring 12, so that the state according to FIG. 2 results ..
It is then 6 against the weight. unwanted axial displacement secured on the shaft 1, the valve body 4 protruding slightly more from the cover 13 than in the position according to FIG. 1, whereby it indicates its locked position; on the lid 13 is a thermal insulation serving, z. B. made of rubber cap 13 'turned up.
This state can be canceled in that the weight 6 is axially displaced in the required manner by means of its upper handle part 5, overcoming the winder position opposite from the clamping edge 9 of the sleeve 8, so that the state according to FIG. 1 results again. in which see the weight 6 is in the rest position or in operational readiness.
The two offsets 1.0 and 1.1 provided on the inside of the (lewicht 6) are formed by edge beads of an insert ring 15. This insert ring 15 is expediently made of rust-free steel, as is the sleeve B, which interacts with this ring 15 and represents a crown these two parts 8 and 15 working together to look like wear and tear given the same conditions.
The sleeve 8 is. screwed onto the shaft 1, the insert ring is held in the weight 6 by a transverse threaded pin (not shown); So insert 15 and sleeve 8 can be replaced if necessary.
The described 1'berdruckvent.il can optionally be brought from the state according to FIG. 2 (transport state) to the ready state according to FIG. 1 in such a way that the weight 6 is grasped by hand on the handle part 5 and analogously, while being washed , rtshaften of the valve body 4 protruding from your weight 6, is axially displaced.
