Timepiece with calendar and moon phases. The object of the present invention is a timepiece with calendar and moon phases. This timepiece is characterized by two double-action push-pieces, one acting on a day wheel and a month wheel, the other on a date wheel and on a moon phase wheel, when they are maneuvered at full throttle, while they only advance the month wheel and moon phase wheel respectively when they are maneuvered halfway.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the timepiece forming the subject of the invention.
The timepiece shown is a wrist chronograph. The movement of this chronograph, which controls the calendar wheels, has not been shown. The chronograph has on one side a crown 1, a push-button 2 for triggering and stopping the chronograph hand and a push-button 3 for resetting this hand. On the opposite side, there are two calendar pushers 4 and 5, both with double action. The push-button 4 allows the day and the month to be reset, and the push-button 5 that of the dates and the moon phase.
The pusher 4 acts on a rocker 6 pivoted at 7 with return spring 8. This rocker acts by a branch 9 on a day wheel with seven teeth 10, in cooperation with a jumper 11 pivoted at 12 with a return spring. 13. The pusher 4 also acts by a branch 14 on a twelve-tooth month wheel 15, in cooperation with a jumper 16. As the teeth of the month wheel are smaller than those of the day wheel and the bran che 14 is longer than branch 9, we can differentiate the two operations of the same pusher 4, because the latter moves the wheel for months even at mid-stroke, while it must be pressed fully so that 'it simultaneously advances the wheel of days.
The pusher 5 acts on a slide 17 guided by a screw 18 engaging in a longitudinal slot 19 and by a screw 20 cooperating with a guide piece 21. By its free end, the slide 17 acts on a control wheel. dates 29 to thirty-one teeth, in cooperation with a jumper 30 pivoted at 31 with return spring 32.
The slide 17 is returned to the rest position by a spring 22 engaging in the slide near the fulcrum of the pusher .5. This slide also carries a spring arm 23 fixed by two screws 24 and the free end of which bears on a control part 25 pivoted at 26. This control part acts on a wheel with fifty-nine teeth. moon phase 28, in cooperation with a 27.
The two actions of pusher 5 can also be differentiated by virtue of the fact that the teeth of the date wheel are larger than those of the moon phase wheel. By pressing the pusher halfway, only the moon phase wheel is moved forward, while if the pusher is pushed in fully, the date wheel is simultaneously moved forward.
This arrangement has the advantage of reducing the number of push-buttons and the operations required for resetting the date and the moon phase of the calendar. In fact, it suffices to operate push-button 4 fully until the day is correct, then to continue halfway until the month is correct as well. Push-button 5 is then actuated fully until the date is correct, then it is continued halfway until the moon phase is also correct.
