Automatic draft limiter for combustion systems. The subject of the present invention is an automatic fire burner for fire:! - runnsan @ agen that work with natural chimney accessories.
All fire alarms that work with natural chimney drafts occur due to atniocherical influences, such as L. Wind. Rain, falling outside temperatures, disruptions in the combustion process due to excessive chimney draft.
1) he requires draft limiters to be used. to avoid this disadvantage by limiting the chimney draft in its size upwards.
This draft limiter is characterized in that it has a housing attached to the chimney, the interior of which is connected to the inside of the chimney on the one hand and to the atmosphere via housing openings on the other hand, and that a control flap is arranged in the interior of the housing that it can be opened by the suction effect of the chimney,
so that secondary air can flow into the chimney through the openings mentioned, whereby an increase in the specific gravity of the hot gases in the chimney leads to a decrease.
The accompanying drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the invention. The only figure of this 7th invoice shows this embodiment in a frivolous manner. 1 denotes a gel housing, e.g. L. made of sheet iron, which is attached to an only partially shown chimney 2 BE and whose interior is connected on the one hand through openings 3 of the housing with the atmosphere, on the other hand with the chimney inside.
In the interior of the housing 1, a control flap 4 is arranged, which is supported by a curved arm 5 having a cutting edge 6. The cutting edge 6, whose cutting edge forms the oscillation axis of the control flap, rests on a cutting edge bearing 7, and the free end of the arm 5 has a spindle 8 which carries a closing weight 9. A likewise adjustable leveling weight 10 is provided on a spindle 11, which is perpendicular to the spindle 8.
The mode of operation of the draft limiter described is as follows: After adjusting the setting weight 9 on its spindle 8 as close as possible to the chord 6, the balancing weight 10 is adjusted when the draft limiter is set on its spindle 11 so that that the control valve 4, the arm 5 together with the parts 8 and 11 and the weights 9 and 10 having system is in equilibrium when the valve is closed.
The adjustment weight 10, which is adapted to the draft conditions of the respective combustion system, is then adjusted on its spindle 1.1 so that the control flap 4 only opens to the maximum extent when there is a specific L #, whereby cold secondary air flows through the opening. gen 3 is sucked in. Through this secondary air, which deals with:
Mixed with the hot flue gases in the chimney, the specific weight of the flue gases located above: the secondary air inlet opening in the chimney is increased, so that a draft reduction occurs. According to the setting: of the draft regulator, the control flap closes when the draft falls below a certain level.
