Fig. 2).
Detachably attachable handle for saw bows. Saw arches made of pipe are sometimes provided with a detachable, standing from a piece of pipe be handle which is inserted into one end of the saw bow. The, before the present invention relates to a releasably attachable handle for saw arcs made of pipe ago and relates to the Vorrich device of the handle for attachment to the saw bow. Because it's important; that when the saw is used, the handle is so firmly attached to the bow that it acts as a rigid continuation of the bow, otherwise the precise guidance of the saw is made more difficult.
Preferably, the handle according to the invention has such a design that when not in use it can be pushed into its entire length into the curved saw tube, where the handle can have such a fastening device that it is immovable even when it is completely inserted into the curved saw tube can be determined.
The handle according to the invention, with a piece of pipe that is to be used for fastening the handle with one end in the pipe opening at one end of the saw bow is characterized in that the end face of the relevant end of the pipe section is cut off at an angle and with a the same external cross-section as the clamp member having the pipe piece together, whose end face facing the pipe piece is correspondingly cut at an angle,
- The pipe section and the clamping member are connected to one another by a clamping device arranged in the longitudinal direction of the handle, which clamping device is provided with an actuator at the other end of the handle tube piece, such that when the clamping device is tightened, the pipe section and the clamping member are pressed together and as a result of the wedge effect of the inclined surfaces in the transverse direction move to opposite sides
whereby the handle inserted with the clamping member and the adjoining pipe section end into the saw bow end can be clamped to the pipe inner wall.
In the accompanying drawings, exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown. 1 shows a side view of a first handle on one end of the bow of a bow saw, which is only partially drawn, in the application position, FIG. 2 shows the same view with the handle pushed into the saw bow, FIG. 3 partly in side view, partly in longitudinal section the in Fig.
1 on a larger scale, FIG. 4 a cross section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 3, FIG. 5 partly in side view, partly in longitudinal section another handle, FIG. 6 partly in side view, partly in longitudinal section a third handle and Fig.7. a front view of the handle according to Fig. 6 (seen against the left in Fig. 6).
The saw shown in Fig.1 and 2 has a saw bow, 1 made of tube, which is provided with a straight end part 2, wel cher has an unchanged cross-section over its entire length, so that the one end inserted into this tube part 2 Handle 3 can also be pushed completely into this one (see. Fig. 2).
The saw blade 4 is connected to the end of the arch shown by means of two tabs 5, the saw blade being attached to the tabs by means of a pin 6 and the tabs themselves being attached. two pins 7, which on the pipe wall of part 2 z. B. welded or riveted, are articulated.
The handle 3 has, as shown in Fig. 3 and 4, a pipe section 8, which represents the part determined to be grasped, and a clamping member 9, which is also made of a pipe section of the same profile as the part 8 is made . The mutually facing end faces 10, 11 of the two parts are cut off at an angle.
The clamping member 9 is fastened by means of a pin 12 in the middle of the pipe at one end of a screw-13 bolt, which penetrates the pipe section 8 in its longitudinal direction and at the other end carrying the thread on the side of the pipe section 8 opposite the inclined end face, a wing nut 14 having,
for which a washer 15 with a larger diameter than the tube is provided. When the screw 13 is tightened by means of the nut 14, the two parts 8 and 9 are pressed against one another with their inclined surfaces 10 and 11, whereby due to the wedge effect of the inclined surfaces 10, 11 they move towards opposite sides, in:
evade the transverse direction, whereby the handle used with the clamping member 9 and the subsequent end part of the pipe section 8 in the saw bow part 2 is clamped to the inner wall of the pipe. It does not matter for the described effect whether the handle% n is in the position of use shown in FIG. 1 or in the inserted position according to FIG.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the pipe section 16 is executed in the same way as the pipe section 8 in FIG. 3, while the clamping member 17 is solid, but with the same chem: outer cross section as the pipe section and provided with a central threaded hole 18 is into which the threaded part 19 of a screw 20 is screwed.
The other end. of the screw is provided on the end of the pipe section 16 with a wing nut 21 secured by a pin 22 on the end face opposite the inclined surface. The mode of operation is the same as in the embodiment according to FIG. 3.
The handle shown in Fig. 6 and 7 has a circular cross-section, so that the tube of the saw bow, for which the handle is intended, at least at one end must have a circular cross-section corresponding to the outer diameter of the handle.
The handle consists in the same way as that shown in Fig. 3, a pipe section 23 representing the part intended for Fas sen and a clamping member 24 consisting of pipe of the same external cross-section,
the Andes. opposite end faces are cut obliquely in the same way, and @ the clamping device; which has a rod 25 penetrating the pipe sections 23 and 24 in the longitudinal direction, at the end of which a plate 26 is provided on the end of the pipe section 23 facing away from the clamping member 24.
The other end of the rod 25 is on the outer end face of the clamping member 24 by means of a nut 29, which allows the clamping device to be adapted, and two washers 30 lying on top of one another; 31 anchored on the clamping member 24.
The end face of the pipe section 23 facing away from the clamping member 24 bil det two semi-annular surfaces 27 inclined to the pipe axis, the deepest part of one being adjacent to the highest part of the other and vice versa. The surfaces 27 are provided with notches 28, each dia metrally opposite.
are attached so that the plate 26, which is fixedly arranged on the rod 25, works together at the same time with two corresponding notches in the two surfaces. By rotating the plate 26 about the axis of the rod 25, it comes to cooperate with other pairs of notches 28 on the inclined surfaces. As a result, the rod 25 can be pushed ver in the pipe section 23, so that the opposite inclined surfaces of the parts 23 and 24 are pressed against each other and the above-mentioned effect is obtained.
