La présente invention a pour objet une râpe ménagère comportant un magasin soli daire d'une poignée sur laquelle s'articule un levier terminé par un poussoir destiné à pé nétrer dans le magasin qui est ouvert à ses deux extrémités opposées dont l'une;

Household disc grater. The existing disk rasps consist of a magazine open at both ends, carried by a frame provided with means allowing it to be fixed to the edge of a table, for example, and carrying the axis rotatably. an integral crank. by its end of a disc forming a rasp and closing off the outlet opening of the magazine, while a pusher, independent or articulated on the latter, makes it possible to press the material held in the magazine against the disc which is driven by 'a rotary movement by the crank handle.
The frame of these rasps is generally made of cast iron; they are therefore heavy and bulky and have a relatively high cost price due to the quantity of metal required for their manufacture.
The rasp disc is only held at its center by the axis of the. crank; it must therefore be made of relatively thick metal, often reinforced by em cutting, in order to be able to withstand without deformation the high pressure which it undergoes in cantilever.
This results in an increase in the quantity of metal used and, consequently, an increase in the cost price. In addition, the thickness of the metal constituting the disc requires delicate sharpening and the effects of which cease to be manifested after more or less prolonged use.
The present invention relates to a household rasp comprising a magazine integral with a handle on which is articulated a lever terminated by a pusher intended to enter the magazine which is open at its two opposite ends, one of which;
lower, is closed by a disc forming a rasp driven by the axis of a crank. This rasp is characterized in that the disc is supported, on the one hand, at its center and, on the other hand, at least at one point on its periphery by the magazine.
One embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing in which: FIG. 1 is an elevational view of this embodiment.
Fig. 2 represents it in plan, the pous evening being supposed removed.
Fig. 3 shows, partially in elevation, the magazine and the handle on the vane face.

Figs. 5 and. 6 are detail views, on a larger scale. showing respectively In elevation. and in section through D -D of fig.5, the support for the axis of the drive crank.
Fig. 7 shows, in plan, the hinged pusher at the end of the handle. Figs. 8 and 9 are cross sections respectively through E-E and F-F of fig 7.
\ Fig. 10 is a partial plan view of a rasp disc.
Fig. 11 is a cross section of this disc, and FIGS. 12 and 13 are two views at 90 showing the end of the shaft of the drive crank.
The disc rasp shown consists of an NI magazine, made of thin sheet, provided with two annular grooves 11, 12 projecting outwardly and secured by its base to a perpendicular flat part 13 limited by a fraction of the crown :
annular 14 th low height. The latter is integral with three hooks 15 serving as peripheral support points supporting the disc during operation of the rasp, as will appear subsequently.
Between the annular projection 12 and the flat part 13 is attached, for example by electric welding points, a tail p made of rolled sheet metal, on the end of which is articulated, by means of a pin 16 , the end of the rod t made in one piece with the pusher P by stamping and bending a sheet.
The sections of the rod and of the pusher are shown in section respectively in FIGS. 8 and 9.
On the external wall of the store is brought, for example - by electrical welding points, a piece 17 in sheet metal, of generally rectangular shape, the upper end of which is folded square at 18 and for view of a hole 19 intended to receive the axis a of the crank.
The lower end, of greater width, is straightened out at 20 and provided with a hole 21 coaxial with the preceding one, while the side edges are folded - as shown in fig. 5, - so - to constitute two slides. 22 followed by two parallel walls 23.
The part 17 also comprises in its middle part a puncture 24 curved outwardly so as to form a spring and to keep the crank axis engaged in the holes 19 and 21 of the supports 18 and 20.
Finally, the sheet 17 comprises a transverse corrugation 25 -determining with the wall of the store 1V1 a housing in which is introduced and held by welding (fig. 1 and 2) one of the ends of a rest r in shaped metal wire as shown in. figure.
The other end of this wire is engaged and maintained similarly in the housing formed by a corrugation 26 of a metal strip 27 attached to the base of the store (Fig. 3).
The disc D4 (Fig. 2, 10 -et 11) is made of thin sheet metal provided with an edge 28 ra squared. It comprises ribs f., Arranged in a star and regularly distributed and perforations g4 located between the ribs and provided, in a known manner,
with a protruding edge ensuring cutting of vegetables and other foods.
The disc D4 is integral with a concentric cylindrical cup 29 provided, at its upper part, with a flange 30 folded squarely and, at its base, with a central hole 31, of elongated shape, intended to receive the. The end 32 of the same section of the shaft a of the crank which is thus rotatably secured to the disc.
This disc is also integral, by its lower face, with a Concentric bowl 33 of flared shape and which opposes access _des parcels of food to the axis.
It should be noted that the distance which separates the lower faces of the glue 30 and of the disc is substantially equal to that which separates the upper faces of the slides 22 and of the hooks 15. Likewise, the distance separating the strips. walls 23 correspond, preferably, substantially to the diameter of the bowl 29.
The assembly is carried out by inserting the edges of the collar 30 in the slides 22; the side wall of the bowl 29 is centered thanks to the walls 23, while the disc rests by its edge on the upper face of the hooks 15.
The end of the axis a of the crank is then engaged in the perforations. 19 and 21 of part 17, phis in the elongated hole 31 of the disc; the crank is locked by the lateral pressure exerted on the axle by the puncture 24 forming a spring.
The thin sheet disc reinforced by its flanged edge and by the: star-shaped ribs is maintained both in its center and in three points of its periphery corresponding to the hooks; it thus resists without deformation to the pressure exerted by the pusher inside the quadrilateral thus formed.
