Button that can be attached without a needle or sewing thread. There are already known buttons that can be assembled from several pieces and that can be attached to the fabric without a needle or sewing thread. The lower part of these buttons has a barbed pin,
which in a material weakened point of the made of a more or less elastic material, z. B. a plastic, related upper part is to be anchored. This button requires a specially shaped, unsightly and therefore only to be worn in an invisible top.
The subject of the invention now forms a button of this type, which offers the particular advantage of having any commercially available button as a top; z. B. two-hole or multi-hole button. In accordance with the invention this is. achieved by at least one separate fastening part which can be inserted through the button top and the fabric and anchored on the button bottom.
.It proves advantageous to train the fastening part as a U-shaped bracket, which can be anchored with the free leg ends in the lower head part.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely FIG. 1 shows the button fastened to a fabric in an upright central section and FIG. 2 the button base in plan view.
The button, which can be fastened without a needle and sewing thread, has an upper part b equipped with two holes a, to be placed on the outside of the fabric c, as which any conventional button can be used without further ado.
For the sake of simplicity, one of the aforementioned two-hole buttons was selected in the illustrated embodiment, the two diametrically. opposite holes a has. However, the part b could also have more than two holes a .
This upper part b is now assigned a lower part d, e to be placed against the inside of the material c, the sen plate d of which is supplemented to form a hollow housing with the aid of a curved casing e flanged onto it. Holes f provided in plate d correspond in terms of their number and distribution to the holes a of the upper part b,
where, however, the mutual spacing of opposite bottom holes f - there are two such holes in question - is smaller than that of the top holes a.
The union of the upper part b with the lower part d, e takes place by means of a suitably U-shaped chamber y, which is a separate fastening part and consists of:
an elastic material is made so that their legs, pressed against each other and released again, spring apart. At each of the free ends of the glamorous thighs, sitting, outwardly directed barbs h allow the clip g, <inserted through the upper part holes a, the fabric c and the lower part holes f / I> the hole edges of the lower part d,
e to reach behind and to anchor oneself in them. In order to facilitate the introduction of the clamp legs and to pretension the clamp g by bringing its legs closer together without further intervention, the plate d of the lower part d </ I is provided > e one leading to its holes f,
guide surface tapering towards the bottom i.
To attach the button you only need to apply pressure to the web of the clamp g inserted with its legs into the holes a of the upper part b, with the result that the pointed ends of the clamp g pushed through the fabric c. the area of the guide surface i of the lower part d, e,
on which the outer inclined surface hi the barb h then slides. The clamp legs are thereby moved against each other against their suspension so far until they move into the holes f, in order to get closer to each other because of the inclined surfaces hi now guided on the upper edge of the hole walls.
If the clamp g is fully @ raised, the clamp legs spring apart, with the barbs h, engaging behind the edges of the hole, automatically locking themselves on the lower part of the button d, e.
If the button is to be removed again without damaging the fabric c, all you have to do is squeeze the clip g above the lower part d, e with the help of small pliers or tweezers so to release the connection of the barbs h with the hole edges of the lower part d, e.
As already mentioned, as an upper part b multi-hole, z. B. four-hole buttons, would be used. In this case, the lower part d, e must have a matching number of holes f and the number of fastening clips g corresponding to the pairs of holes must be added to each button according to the invention.
Of course, using the clamp g and the lower part d, e, a full, easy-to-pierce button, e.g. B. a twist button, or at. ent speaking introduction of the bracket g also, a button can be used whose radially extending holes are arranged covered in a button approach.
In addition, the connection of the upper part with the lower part could also be done in any other way; It is only essential that at least one separate fastening part that can be fixed to a lower part is used.
