lugzeuggesohwindigkeit und wird mit einer Rolle 9'4 auf ein Lineal 9 5 übertragen, welches mit der Gleitbüchse 96 fest verbunden ist und über die Stange 97 gleitet. Der Drehbolzen 9;
Aiming device for anti-aircraft guns. Firearms for fighting moving targets, in particular aircraft, are equipped with special devices for determining the lead angle by which the gun must be additionally adjusted to the side and height when firing,
equipped. So-called command devices have been developed for large-caliber batteries, which determine the lead values with great accuracy. Such command devices are, however, extremely complicated in their structure, require electrical power sources and several man operation. They are therefore not used when adding individual guns.
For this are. Targeting devices of a more or less simple design have been developed, which however only allow an approximate determination of the behavior values.
The most significant disadvantage of these target devices known to date lies in the fact that one or even several of the values to be considered must always be estimated. It can now be seen without further ado that this estimate of necessary for the calculation of the holding angle Values can lead to completely uncontrollable errors.
Given the ever increasing importance, but also small-scale, individually installed guns for fighting moving goats, it is necessary to have a target device that approximately correctly determines the lead angle without estimating any initial value the present invention now forms a target device
in which the values required to determine the lead angle are measured, and the lead angle is determined almost exactly despite the simple structure.
The aiming device for anti-aircraft guns according to the present invention is characterized by an observation telescope, which contains a parallel reticle and a tilting prism,
with at least one handwheel being able to track the movement of the aircraft according to the apparent direction of flight and the tilting prism of the movement of the aircraft according to angular velocity in this direction,
and by a computing device, in wel chem from these tracking movements and the measurement distance to be rotated into the computing device at the same time, the lead according to direction and angle value is determined.
In the accompanying drawings, in FIGS. 1 to 5, an exemplary embodiment of a target device according to the present invention is shown. It shows:
F'ig. 1 the spatial representation of the measuring method on which the target device is based, FIG. 2 a section through the computing device with observation telescope for the judge, FIG. 3 the telescopic sight device for the shooter,
Fiig. 4 the reticle images of the observation resp. Rifle scope.
5 shows the attachment of the aiming device to a mount.
The arithmetic facility is based on the simplifying approximation formula
EMI0002.0010
in which a is the lead angle, w is the measured angular velocity, a is the measured distance, cm is the mean face angle, w is the angular velocity.
First, on the basis of the spatial representation in Fig. 1 the relationships as they are based on the computing device explained in more detail.
G means the protection location from where target Z at measuring point 31 is sighted. By setting the apparent flight direction y with the 14, by turning the handwheel 1 and at the same time tracking by continuously turning the tilting prism 16, the speed of which can be adjusted by pulling or pushing the handwheel 1,
that the target appears immobile to the observer in the field of view of his telescope. With these during the setting movements and the introduced measuring distance eu, the lead angle a is formed in the computing device. In the spatial firing triangle, T means the meeting point at which the target must hit the projectile.
eT is the corresponding hit distance.
In FIG. 2- the rotary movement on the handwheel 1 is transmitted to the transmission shaft 5 by means of bevel gear pairs 2 and 4 and the connecting shaft 3. At the same time, the rotary movement on the handwheel 1 from the shaft 5 through pairs of bevel gears 6 and 8 and connecting shaft 7 to the shaft 9 over. On the shaft 9 sits the Uhnritzel 10, which engages in a ring gear 11 of a rotatable part 12 of the telescope housing. By rotating the shaft 9, the telescope housing part 12 is also rotated if.
The objective 13, the parallel stripe plate 14, the deflecting prism 15 and the tilting prism 16 and in the fixed part the eyepiece 17 are accommodated in the rotatable telescope housing part 12. The telescope body part 12 can accordingly be rotated by the handwheel 1 in such a way that the moving target moves precisely. between the pa:
Allel lines of the reticle 14 are moved in the direction of their arrows (FIG. 4), with the result that the apparent course direction of this destination has been set. The setting of the corresponding = n angular speed of the drawing takes place in the following way: The handwheel 1 is seated on a shaft 18 which is mounted in a liner 19.
A drive plate 20 is seated on the shaft 18, in which a sliding block 21 engages, which is connected to the slide 22 which is mounted on the rail 2'3. A toothed rack 2'4, into which a pinion 25 seated on the shaft 2-6, engages on the slide 22.
The shaft '26 transfers the movement by means of Kege.Irad- pairs 27, 29 and connecting shafts 28, 30 to a pair of spur gears 31, which in turn drives a cam 33 on the shaft 32. The movement initiated on the handwheel 1 by pulling or pushing is therefore transmitted to the cam disk 39.
The curve, the cam 33 controls a friction wheel 35 on the shaft 36 and a toothed pinion 40 such that the migration of the friction wheel 35 from the center - the friction disk 37, which is driven at constant speed with means of bevel gears 38 by a clockwork 39, .A certain angular speed. of the target. The friction gear 3'S, 37 thus forms the angular speed corresponding to the adal displacement of the Haudra.des:
1 resp. of the slide 2'2x. Spur gear 41 is in engagement with. 7Za; hnritzel 40 and transmits the threatening movement to the differential gear 42,
in which the rotation of the mount is deducted. The resulting movement is initiated by means of spur gears 43 and 44 in a further differential mechanism 45 and there as an additional movement to the rotation,
resulting from the twisting of the riernmahr body part 12 by means of a spur gear 46 added. The total value goes to gearwheel 48 by means of a slip clutch 47 of known design and drives the internally toothed ring gear 49 which is mounted on the telescope body part 12.
The: Toothed pinion 50 on shaft 51 transmits the rotary motion by means of worm 52 to worm gear segment 53, and rotates tilting prism 16 continuously at the corresponding speed.
By means of differential 45 it is achieved that the rotation of the telescope barrel part 12 by means of gears 46, 10 and 11 does not exert any influence on the rotation of the pinion 50.
As mentioned briefly above, the telescope's own movement, caused by the rigid extension on the mount, must be eliminated. This is done by the reverse rotation, the side with the friction gear 54, 56 and the height with the friction gear 55, 57, the side gear of the mount on the shaft of the friction disk 54 and the elevator gear on the shaft of the friction disk 55 is coupled.
Due to the fact that the angular velocity is not measured in the lateral and vertical direction, but directly in the set apparent flight direction, the two carriage movements can be combined in the resultant lying in the apparent flight direction and turned back in this direction as follows:
The angle y. that forms the apparent flight direction with the horizontal, set with handwheel 1, is transmitted from the connecting shaft 7 by means of bevel gears' 64 and 62 and shaft 63 to shaft 61 and cam 60.
The sliding pin 58 shifts (reads friction wheel 56 by the value cos. Y, the sliding pin 59 shifts the friction wheel 57 by the value y. The value cos y is thus multiplied with the lateral direction angle value introduced by the friction disk 54 of the friction operation 54, 56. The value sin y is multiplied by the vertical direction M angle value introduced by the friction disk 55 of the friction gear 55, 57.
The values of the lateral back rotation and vertical back rotation, which together give the resultant along the apparent direction of flight, are transmitted by the pinions 66 and 71 on shafts 6, 5 and 70 by means of intermediate gears 67 and 7'2 and gears 68 and 73 @ introduced for addition in the differential gear 69, so that the Rückdralhende resultant is formed.
The outgoing reverse rotation movement is combined with the movement determined in the friction gear 35, 37 by means of a gear 74 in the differential gear 42 and, as already described, is directed to the tilting prism as the resultant.
At the beginning of the measurement or when changing the target, it will be necessary to be able to return the tilting prism to its zero position. This is done by lever 75i via bevel gears 76, shaft 77 and gearwheel 78 on the toothed ring 49 mounted on the telescope body part 12. An overrunning clutch 79 of known design separates the movement of the bevel gears 76 from the lever 75 after the zero position has taken place.
142h of the axial displacement .des hand wheel 1 is determined by means of friction gear 35, 37 the measure for Winkelgesehwin.digkeit.
The inevitable displacement of carriage 22 on rail 23 and thus also .des Tasfbolzens 8.0 in guide bushing 81 results on the cam 82 'the product formation from angular velocity co and distance. The latter is initiated by means of crank 83, gears 84 and bevel wheel 89 and the connecting shaft 88 on the axis of rotation 150 of the cam 812 and 102.
A scale 91 on shaft 92 is driven by bevel gears 93 from shaft 86 and shows the stallte distance in hm. The amount by which the feeler pin 80 is shifted from the cam 82 @agial, so the product co. a, is equal to the apparent F:
aircraft speed and is transferred with a roller 9'4 to a ruler 9 5, which is firmly connected to the sliding bush 96 and slides over the rod 97. The pivot pin 9;
8 on sliding bush H, which is axially offset by the same value as the feeler pin 80, transmits this value to the toggle lever 99, which is mounted in the pivot point 100, on slide 101, which is analogous to the slide 2'2 slides on rail 23.
In the cam body 102, the apparent speed co. a - multiplied by the reciprocal value of the mean projectile velocity cm and thus the lead angle is determined using the above formula. The route to:
which the stylus 103 is axially displaced in the guide bushing 10'4 represents this value. With the aid of a roller 105, a ruler 106 and the sliding bush 107, which slides on the rod 87 with the toothed rack 1'08, this angle value is transferred to the pinion 109 and, with the connecting shaft 110, is guided as a lead angle to the shooter's telescope.
With the hand crank 83, the measured distance is set. However, this measured distance still needs a correction, for the following reasons: Computational investigations of the reserve determination according to the formula
EMI0004.0049
have shown that the assumption of an average shoulder velocity cm is not easily admissible.
To get the right formula
EMI0004.0055
to come closer, the value k is therefore for the unknown value cT. cm inserted. The correction factor k used to multiply the mean floor speed is between the limits 0.8 to 1; 2 and is 1 if. the aircraft moves on an arc with the center of the gun location; num in this case becomes cT = cm.
For the next destination, cT> CM, and. up to 1.2 depending on the direction of flight. cm. The opposite is of course the case when flying away, here cT <CM- . The introduction of this correction factor is carried out by means of a lever 155 provided on the housing of the computing device, which, depending on the moving target is outgoing or incoming, is folded to the left or to the right.
The rotation on the lever 155 has the following effect: With the hand crank 83, the measured distance em is introduced via bevel gears 8.9, the axis of rotation 15.0 of the cam bodies 82 and 102. The cam 82 is firmly connected to the axis 150,
while the cam body 102 is rotatably mounted on the NO axis and is rotated via the differential gear 151. The bevel gear 152 in the differential gear> 151 is rotated by a corresponding value by means of lever 155 via linkage 154, depending on the direction of flight, and in this way corrects the em setting on the cam body 102.
The corrected em value is taken with bevel gears 156 on the cam body 10'2 and passed on with shaft 157, bevel gears 158 on rotating shaft 90 and from there to the target device of the shooter for setting the attachment angle.
At the same time as the distance is set, the spring mechanism of the movement is: wound up. For separate winding, the distance setting can be separated by pressing the crank 83 from the spring mechanism. A disk 111 shows the status of the spring winding and a slip clutch 11'2 of known design prevents a spring breakage due to excessive winding.
In Fig. 3 the structure of the telescopic tube device is shown for the shooter. This consists on the one hand of a telescopic sight tube with tilting prism 16a in the same Ausfüh tion as in Fig. 2 beuchriedben, and on the other hand of simple gears for: the introduction:
the lead direction, .des. Hold wink els and the Aufsatzwinke-13 in the telescopic sight. The lead direction, introduced with the connecting shaft 5a, is achieved by means of gear wheels 113,
The shaft Sec and pinion 10a are transferred to the ring gear 11a of the telescope body part 12a and thus determine the position and direction of the lead angle a. This angle a is connected with shaft 110a and gears 114 ins
Differenti.algeteiebe 115 introduced and added with the direction angle of shaft 5a with gearwheel 116 on the ring gear 49a and from there by means of pinion 50a, shaft 51a, worm 52a on worm, ekenradsegm Prism 16a around the lead angle a results.
The attachment angle belonging to the corrected distance is taken into account in the telescope by correspondingly offsetting the grain mark location 1'17. Connecting shaft 91O @ a transmits the value of the corrected distance using bevel gears 11-8,
12'0 and shaft 119 on axis of rotation 121 with cam 12 \ 2. Toothed wheel 123 is coupled to the elevation and moves the cam in the axial direction with toothed rack 124 on guide eye 125. The test bolt 1226 thus moves according to the acceptance:
of the contact angle with increasing elevation. The way in which the described aiming device works is clearly evident from the coating on the construction.
It should only once again be pointed out in summary that .that the judge by operating a single handwheel, namely by turning and pulling or Pressing - can follow the moving target according to its apparent direction and speed, and its attention is not distracted by any other manipulation.
The measured distance is set by a hand crank, by an auxiliary judge who also operates the lever 155, which can be adjusted according to the approach or departure of the moving target and corrects the measured distance.
The arithmetic unit determines from the movements of handwheel 1 and the set value of the measured distance: the lead direction, lead angle and the corrected distance. These three values are fed as movements to the target telescope device of the shooter and his telescope is automatically set so that
that he has been given the correct lead. The shooter is therefore unencumbered and can only deal with the operation of the weapon.
A very significant advantage of the target device described is, as already mentioned, that no values necessary for determining the lead angle have to be estimated. A device has therefore been created with relatively simple means that has approximately the correct lead values and thus ensures greater accuracy.
