Machine with at least one reciprocating piston. The invention relates to. a machine with at least one reciprocating piston, in which the distribution of the propellant or working medium must be adjustable, such as in a steam engine, an internal combustion engine or a compressor.
To control a valve that is only used for one cylinder side, it has been proposed to use an adjustable lever. which is driven by a swing cam and acts directly on the valve rod. The fulcrum of the lever is adjustable along a path which is concentric to the axis of rotation of the rocker cam, in such a way that the surface of the lever that acts on the valve rod is permanently in the same plane.
Adjusting the lever has the consequence that the valve opens and closes sooner or later, so that only the phase of the valve movement is shifted compared to the crank movement, but the crank angle remains unchanged while the valve is open. The possible phase shift is only slight, however, since the effective area of the rocker arm must remain in the area of the end face of the valve rod.
This be known mechanism is therefore only suitable for setting the correct pre-inflow angle in machines in which the rocking cam is driven by a Kulissenfüh tion, which allows the filling to be changed within wide limits and also to reverse the direction of rotation.
The invention has for the purpose of a piston engine with separate Steuerorga NEN for each end of the cylinder, for example, both the entry as the exit or only the entry BEZW. control only the exit, and of which each control organ or each group of similar control organs is actuated by a cam with the interposition of an adjustable oscillating body,
wherein the adjustment of the oscillating body takes place in a plane perpendicular to the camshaft in order to implement the actuation mechanism for the control elements in such a way that the crank angle during which the control element is open can be changed.
According to the invention, the cam runs continuously for this purpose, and an adjustment of the oscillating body causes a change in the path of the part of the control mechanism moving directly from the oscillating body and thus a temporal change in the movement of this part relative to the piston movement.
The vibrating body can be a per filed, z. B. have curved pressure surface with which it acts directly or indirectly on the control member.
This pressure surface can be shaped so that with each setting of the. Schwingkör pers the opening of the control element, be it a slide, a tap or a valve, takes place in the same crank position, so that a constant pre-inflow angle is achieved with the various adjustable fillings.
In a corresponding manner, a variable compression can be achieved with an outlet element for a cylinder side with a constant advance flow.
In a particularly useful embodiment of the subject invention, the oscillating body is formed as a rocking lever, one end of which is adjustable along a curved path.
The invention is explained below with reference to two embodiments shown schematically in the drawing represents.
In the embodiment of FIG. 1 is. on the camshaft 1, which carries the cam disk 2., the adjusting arm 3 loosely ge superimposed. The rocker arm 4 is pivotable about the Zap fen 5 of the adjusting arm 3 and acts by means of a pressure surface 6 on the push rod 7, which transmits the movement to the part 8 to be driven, which is under the action of a spring 9.
The rocker arm 4 carries a roller 10 which, due to the pressure of the spring 9, rests continuously against the circumferential surface of the cam disk 2. A rod 11, which is connected to the adjusting shaft 1 2 and which can be rotated by means of the rod 13, engages the adjusting arm 3. For this purpose, this rod can be connected to a controller or a servo motor. In this way, two or more control organs, which are arranged side by side, but must work th in different phases, z. B. according to the angle wel chen adjacent cranks of a Mehrzylin dermaschine include each other, operated by a common controller or servo motor.
The rod 8 carries the not signed th inlet slide of a steam engine. When the arm 3 is adjusted, the pivot 5 of the rocker arm 4 moves on the circular arc 14 which runs parallel to the push rod 7 on the average. If the pivot -5 is adjusted upwards on the arc 14, for example, the roller 10 moves in the circumferential direction of the camshaft 1 in a plane perpendicular to the camshaft.
This Ver shift has when rotating the cam disk 2 in the sense of the arrow indicated a phase shift of the Schieberbewe movement, in the sense that the inlet channel dominated by the slide is opened earlier and blocked earlier. However, since the support point of the pressure surface 6 moves upwards during the aforementioned adjustment, the entire path of the control slide comes to lie higher, whereby the opening of the steam inlet channel takes place later, but the shut-off takes place earlier. The filling is thus reduced in size.
By appropriate choice of the adjustment arc 14 and the curvature of the pressure surface 6 is also made possible that when the lever 3 is adjusted, the filling is changed, but the opening of the channel takes place practically at the same crank position, namely shortly before the dead center.
To adjust the outlet slide at the other end of the cylinder of the steam engine, a mechanism of the same design is provided in principle.
If the control unit is a pump plunger, e.g. B. an injection pump for an internal combustion engine or a drive pump in a hydraulic Ventilsteue tion, can, in a similar manner as described above, the effective pump stroke can be changed at a prescribing starting point of delivery.
If the control member is not designed as a slide, but as a valve, the valve can not be driven directly by the pressure rod 7 because it has a fixed stop in its seat. Therefore, in this case, it is necessary to turn on a swinging thumb in the transmission mechanism, which transfers the movement of the swinging lever to the valve rod.
In FIG. 2 it is shown that the adjustment path can also be a slot 14 'in which the pivot pin 5 of the rocking lever 4 can be adjusted. The pressure surface 6 of the rocker arm is here with a part 6 'extended and works with a rocker arm 15, with the interposition of a roller 16 carried by this arm, so that this mechanism is suitable for both directions of rotation of the drive shaft 1. The mode of action is otherwise the same as described with reference to FIG. 1 be.
The oscillating body could also be connected to the adjusting lever 3 (Eig. 1) by means of a link pair, which links can have the same or different lengths, so that the oscillating body in its oscillating movement parallel BEZW. is not moved parallel to sch itself.
The oscillating body could also be guided in a slot in the adjusting lever 3 and thereby receive a movement of a special character.
It is also possible to use the mechanism shown for driving several similar control members, in which case the push rods 7 associated with the various control members are coupled to one another.
