Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>243333.</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallisierbaren Polyazofarbstoffes. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallisier- baren Polyazofarbstoffes. Das.
Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass 1-Amino-8-o@xy- ria.phthalin-3,6-disulfonsäure erst in saurer und anschliessend in alkalischer Lösung mit je 1 Mol diazotierter 5-Nitro-2-amino-benzoe- säure gekuppelt, nach Reduktion der Nitro- grippen der Diaminodisazofarbstoff tetrazo- tiert und beidseitig mit ss-Naphthol gekup pelt wird.
Der neue Tetrakisazofarbstoff ist ein dunkles Pulver, :das .sich in Wasser und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blaugrauer Farbe löst. Er färbt Zellulosefasem in blau grauen Tönen. Beim Nachbehandeln mit Kupfersalzen werden diese in der Nuance nur unwesentlich verändert, aber in den Echt- heiten erheblich verbessert.
Beispiel: 18,2 Teile 5-Nitro-2-amino-benzoesäure werden in üblicher Weise diazatiert und in mineralsaurem Medium mit 31,9 Teilen 1- A.mino - 8 - oxy - naphthalin- 3,6 - disulfonsäure gekuppelt.
Man macht mit überschüssiger Soda alkalisch und vereinigt den erhaltenen Monoazafarbstoff mit einer aus 18,2 Teilen 5-Nitro-2-amino-benzoesäure, 6,9 Teilen Na triumnitrit und,der nötigen Menge Salzsäure hergestellten Diazoniumlösung. Der fertig gebildete Disazofarbstoff scheidet -sich in bronzierenden Kristallen aus. Er wird abfil- triert, in der notwendigen Menge Wasser ge löst und bei 35 mit 23,4 Teilen Natrium- sulfid reduziert.
Der mit Salzsäure abge- sahiedene Diaminodisazefarbstoff wird in Sodalösung gelöst, vom gebildeten SUhwefel abfiltriert, mit 13,8 Teilen Natriumnitrit ver mischt und in überschüssige verdünnte Salz säure eingetropft. Nach einigen Stunden ist die Bildung :der Tetrazoverbindung beendet. Man vereinigt sie mit 28,8 Teilen ss-Naph- thol in Gegenwart von 80 Teilen Soda.
Nach einiger Zeit ist die Kupplung beendet und der Tetrakisazofarbstoff abgeschieden. Er wird abfiltriert, mit verdünnter Sole ge waschen und getrocknet.

It is made alkaline with excess soda and the monoaza dye obtained is combined with a diazonium solution prepared from 18.2 parts of 5-nitro-2-aminobenzoic acid, 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite and the necessary amount of hydrochloric acid.
