Second hand watch movement. The subject of the invention is a watch movement with a seconds hand, the seconds axis of which is adjusted by a -collet -and passes through the tubular axis of the minute mobile arranged in the middle of the frame of the movement, said axis of the minutes. seconds being adjusted and turned by its single pivot, in an auxiliary finishing bridge of the frame.
This movement is characterized in that the required axial swing of the second axis, with respect to its, bearings., Is determined by stops carried by this axis - and of which at least one is part of - this-- Ci, these stops cooperating with parts of at least one fixed element of the frame of the movement. These. parts could be formed by integral parts of the seconds axis, on the one hand, and of at least one frame element, on the other hand.
However, said parts could be formed, at least on the one hand, by at least one stopper or other stop member secured or .reportée either to the axis of the seconds :, or to an element of the frame.
This arrangement offers the advantage that the axial swing of the second axis is. independent of that of the tubular axis of the minute mobile (large average pin), although this last axis constitutes, as is generally the case, by a part arranged in cantilever, the one of the bearings of the seconds axis.
Another advantage which results from the invention resides in the fact that the bearings of the second axis can be located at a relatively large distance from each other, which gives the axis an arrangement. perfectly correct, that is to say straight and well centered.
The appended drawing shows, partially and by way of example, in section along the axis of the seconds, five embodiments of the object of the invention, represented respectively by FIGS. 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Fig. 2 is an orthogonal projection of FIG. 1.
In the. fi, g. 1, we can partially distinguish the <B>, </B> plate 7, the .grand'moyenne bridge 8 and the auxiliary finishing bridge 9 of the frame of the watch movement.
The minute pinion 10 (or large average pinion), which carries, driven out on a span, the 11 minute wheel (medium size wheel), comprises a tubular axis 12 adjusted, on the one hand, by a pivot 13, in the bridge 8 and, on the other hand, by an adjustment 14, in the plate 7. The axial play of the axis 12, with respect to the bearings 7 and 8, is determined by a frame 15 arranged between a span of axis 1-2 and the bridge 8.
In the tubular axis 12 is adjusted, freely, by a collar 16 ', the axis 16 of the seconds, the latter passing through said tubular axis is adjusted, .on the other hand, by its single pivot 17, in the bridge finishing gear 9. The axle 16 forms the second gear 18, which gear is controlled, as usual, by a middle wheel (not shown) and carries, driven out, the seconds wheel 19 driving the second gear. 'exhaust (not shown).
On the tigeron. 20 of the axis 16 will be placed a large seconds hand, while the end of the cantilever portion 12 'of the tubular minute axis 12 will receive the roadway carrying the usual minute hand.
The collar 1.6 'of the axis 16 being fitted in the end of the bore of the tubular axis 12, the cantilevered part 12' of this axis constitutes one of the two bearings of the seconds axis, the other bearing being formed by the auxiliary bridge 9. It follows that it is possible to locate the two bearings of this axis at a relatively large distance from each other, in order to 'ensure a perfectly correct arrangement of the axis, that is to say rectilinear and well centered.
The required axial clearance (or height swing) of the 16 seconds axis is independent of the 12 minute tubular axis. This process is determined according to the first form of execution (fig. 1 and 2), on the one hand, by two ports 2'1 and 22 integrating the axis 16, and the first of which cooperates with, the bridge 9, the secande with a stopper formed by a plate 23 housed in a recess 24 of the bridge 9 and fixed to this bridge by a screw 25.
This plate is engaged, with axial play, by one of its. forked ends 26, in a circular groove 27 formed in an extension of the pivot 17 of the pin 16, the bearing area 2.2, limiting the groove on the outer side.
The embodiment according to fig.3 @ is a variant of that described above. Here, the axial range of the axis 16 is limited exclusively by a fixed stopper formed by a plate 28 identical to that shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and cooperating with a groove 27 of the pivot 17. This plate is housed in a recess 24 of the bridge 9 and fixed to the latter by a screw 2.5.
The forked portion 26 of the plate is engaged, with axial play, in a: circular groove 27 formed in an extension of the pivot 17 of the axle 16. Now, it is this axial play which is decisive for the Axial swing or height swing of the 16 second axis.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the axial range of the seconds axis is determined, on the one hand, by a bearing surface 18 'of the seconds pin 18, bearing surface cooperating with a stopper formed by a support plate <B> 59, </B> fixed to the bridge, grand'moyenne 8, by means of a screw 2,9 'and, on the other hand, by the end of the pivot 17. Of the axis 116 of the seconds, this end cooperating with a stopper formed by a plate 30,
housed in a recess 24 of the auxiliary bridge 9 and fixed to this bridge by a screw 25.
In the embodiments represented by FIGS. 5 -and 6, the axial range of the seconds axis is determined, on the one hand, by an integral bearing surface 3.1 of the pivot 17, cooperating with the auxiliary bridge 9 and, on the other hand, by a bearing 32 formed by a part of a part fixed to the pivot of the axis 16, seconds.
In fig. 5, this part is a screw, head 33, screwed axially into the end .du pivot 17 .de .l'axe 16 & s. seconds, the head of the screw being housed in a recess 34 of the bridge 9 and forming the bearing surface 32 cooperating with this bridge.
According to fig. 6, this part is a ron delle or ring 35 driven on a shank 36 of the pivot 17, e4gagée in a recess 37 of the bridge 9, and having the bearing M cooperating with the, bridge 9.
