Es zeigt: Fig. 1 einen Teil der Plattenwechsel- Vorrichtung der Sprechmaschine, im Verti kalschnitt, Fig. 2 die Plattenwechsel-Vorrichtung in Draufsicht, bei abgenommenem Platten teller;
(Fig. 3) verschwenkt.

In the upper end of the shaft 11 is a. Füh approximately pin 12 for the plates inserted loosely on which the plates are lined up with their central hole. Of the. The guide pin is provided with an upwardly directed shoulder 13, on which the bottom plate of the stack comes to rest with the edge of its central hole, and with a downwardly directed shoulder 14 opposite the shoulder 13.
The vertical distance between these paragraphs is greater than the thickness of a plate, but smaller than the thickness of two plates, so that with lateral pressure on the bottom plate resting on the paragraph 13, this plate is pushed under the paragraph 14 and on the turntable 10 respectively. can fall on the already lying on the turntable plates by sliding along the part of the guide pin 12 located below the paragraphs union.
Part of the guide pin runs at an angle so that the plate is displaced horizontally by at least 2.5 cm during its downward sliding along the guide pin, i.e. by at least half the difference in diameter between a four-minute plate (25 cm plate ) and a six-minute record (30 cm record) to be played on the speaking machine.
The successively from the stack on the turntable to be promoted plates rest with part of their edge on a Tsch 63 BEZW. on edge strips 64 and 65 on the same. With the table a swingable about a horizontal joint 15 arm 16 is connected, which is provided at its free end with a about the tip of the guide pin 12 cross hole 17. This arm prevents the guide pin 12 from taking part in the rotation of the pin 11.
The arms of a fork-shaped spring 18 protrude into the hole 17, which arms engage in a groove 19 in the guide pin so that the free end of the arm 16 cannot fall onto the plates. A conical bore in a ring 20 facilitates the introduction of the tip of the guide pin 12 into the hole 17 when pivoting the arm 16. The spring 18 has on the opposite side of the fork poor a hinge eyelet 21 for articulating an arm 22, the free end of which the table 63 respectively. rests on the stack of plates.
A plate pusher 26 is slidably guided in a slot 25 of the table 63 forming the top of a housing 24. On the underside of the plate pusher 26, an angle 27 is attached, which tet with an arranged at one end of a double-armed lever 28 driver 29 tet. At the lower end of the lever 28 pivotable about a pin 30, a rod 31 is articulated.
The plate pusher 26 has a stop 32 and a stop 33, of which the first is to work together with the peripheral edge of large plates and the second with the peripheral edge of small plates is true. The distance between the two stops corresponds to half the difference in diameter between the large and small plates. At the impact 33 forms the edge at the upper end of a feeler pin 148, which is axially displaceable ge from the free end of a leaf spring 34 wear. The other end of the leaf spring 34 is clamped between a disk 35 and a sleeve 36 on the plate pusher 26 by means of a screw 37.
At the lower end of the pin 148 an angle 38 is attached, which is guided through the sleeve 36 so that it is displaced parallel to itself together with the feeler pin 148 downwards and brought into the path of the upper end of a double-armed lever 39 who can .
The pin 11 (Fix. 1 and 2) carries between the turntable 10 and the chassis plate a rubber roller 41 which can work together with the circumference of a control disk 42. The control disk 42 is provided on its upper side (Fix. 2) with a heart-shaped groove 48, 50, 51 and, on its underside (Fix. 3), with a groove 103, the latter in two branch grooves 105 and 105 at one end 106 and at the other end merges into a widening 104.
The rod 31 is bent in a Z-shape and passes through an opening 43 (FIG. 2) in the chassis plate 40. The end of the rod 31 located on the top of the chassis plate is articulated to the lever 45 by means of a screw 44. The lever 45 is pivotably mounted on the chassis plate by means of the screw 46 and carries at its free end a downwardly directed control pin 47 which engages in the groove 48, 50, 51 of the control disk 42.
The control disk 42 is provided at its start with two opposing recesses 149, 152, which are so large that the rubber roller 41 can just rotate freely therein. But even with a very small rotation of the control disk, the role runs on the circumference of the control disk, whereupon the latter is set in rotation by the rubber roller 41 continuously driven by the drive motor of the speaking machine. The rubber roller rotates clockwise, which is why the control disk 42 rotates counterclockwise in the direction of arrow 49.
A lever 53 (Fig. 3), which engages in a cut from 52 of the lever 39 and cooperates with this, is pivotable about a pin 54 and hinged at 55 at one end of the pull rod 56, the other end of which carries a pin 57. This pin protrudes through a slot 58 in the chassis plate 40 and is hinged to a rod 59 (FIG. 2) on the upper side of the chassis plate. This carries at one end a pin 60 which protrudes into a slot 61 of a rail 62, which is attached to the chassis plate at both ends at a distance from the latter.
The control disk 42 is arranged between the rail 62 and a similar, lower rail 62 '(Fig. 3) in an opening in the chassis plate.
Of the two hand rails 64 and 65 in the table 63 (FIGS. 2 and 4), the edge rail 65 is pivotably mounted at one end at 65 "and is under the influence of a leaf spring 66 which strives to be the free end of the rail upwards until a lug 67 attached to the underside of the bar hits the underside of the table 63. An arm 68 is attached to the bar 65 and causes the motor to be switched off when all the discs have been played.
On the top of the chassis plate 40 (FIG. 2) an angle lever 69 is pivotably mounted around the screw 70, the arm 150 of which protrudes over the edge of the control disk 42. The other arm of the lever 69 is under the influence of a spring 71 which tends to keep the arm 150 in the path of a pin 72 attached to the control disk 42. With each revolution of the control disk 42, the pin 72 causes the lever 69 to pivot about the screw 70 in a clockwise direction. This movement is passed on via a pin 73 to a pull rod 74 (FIG. 3) which runs on the underside of the plate 40.
The point of attack of the pin 73 opposite end of the tie rod 74 is articulated by means of the screw 78 to one end of the lever 75, the other end of which carries a stop that can work with the above-mentioned arm 68 on the skirt 65 together. A link 76 acts on a screw 79 located approximately in the middle of the lever 75, the other end of which is hinged to the lever 77 by means of the screw 80.
The lever 77 is pivotally mounted at its one end at 81 on the chassis plate 40, while its other end carries a pin 82 which cooperates with the fork-shaped arm 83 of a toggle switch 84 in the motor circuit.
A Z-shaped bent lever 85 is pivotably arranged on the chassis plate 40 by means of a screw 87, one part of which is located above and the other below the chassis plate. The end of the lever 85 lying above the chassis plate carries a downwardly directed pin 86 (FIG. 2) which engages in the groove 48, 50, 51 in the control disk, while the other end is attached to a pull rod by means of the screw 88 89 (Fig. 3 and 5) is articulated.
The train rod 89 transmits the from the groove 48, 50, 51 in the control disk 42 to the lever 85 he shared movement to an angle lever 90 (Fig. 5), which in a plate on the chassis 40 arranged bearing block 91 about the axis 92 is pivotable is. One end of the angle lever 90 engages in a slot 94 of a part 95 by means of a pin 93.
The part 95 carries a pin 96 which passes through a sleeve 97 which is rotatably arranged in the foot 98 of the tonearm 99. At the upper end of the sleeve 97 a laterally vorsprin gender part 100 is attached, at the outer end of the hinge 101 of the tonearm 99 is pivotally mounted so that it is possible to lift the sound pickup from the turntable. A plate 102 attached to the tone arm extends from the joint 101 over the upper end of the pin 96. The upward and downward movements of the pin 96 therefore act the lifting BEZW. lowering the tonearm.
The groove 103 in the control disk 42 ver runs over an angle of approximately 120 concentrically to the axis of rotation of the control disk 42, likewise the widening 104 extends over an angle of approximately 120, the same the two branch grooves 105 respectively. 106, which run parallel to one another and are separated from one another by a wall 107, to which a lower tongue 108 is attached at one end. The switch tongue 108 is connected to a pin 109 which stretches through the control disk 42. A triangular control element 110 for the switch blade is attached to the pin 1.09 on the top of the control disk.
The control body 11.0 is shown in FIG. 2 in its rest position. If, for whatever reason, the control body has assumed a position deviating from this rest position, it is activated by a downwardly directed pin 111 on the rail 62, which cooperates with the flank 112 of the control body 110 when the control disk 42 moves at about. 30, calculated from its starting position shown in Fig. 2, rotates, returned to its rest position.
The position shown in Fig. 3 of the Wei chenzunge 108 is its rest position.
An arm 114 is pivotably arranged on the chassis plate 40 at 115 (FIG. 3) and carries a pin 113 which cooperates with the grooves 103 to 106. A link 116, which is articulated to the free end of the arm 114 by means of the screw 117, transmits the movement of the arm 114 to an arm 118. The arm 118 is fastened to a sleeve 119 and this is fastened to the bushing 97 (Fig. 5). The movement of the arm 11, 8 under the influence of the movement of the arm 114 therefore causes the tone arm 99 to pivot sideways.
In order to move the control disk out of the rest position, in which the roller 41 lies in the recess 152, an impulse lever 120 (FIG. 2) is provided, which is pivotably mounted on the chassis plate 40 by means of the screw 122. Control surfaces 121, 140 on pulse lever 120 cooperate with a pin 72 fastened to control disk 42.
The lever 120 is at its free end with a, a lateral approach 137 having control cam see ver and is pressed by a spring 138 with the approach 137 against a pin 124 which protrudes through a hole 125 of the chassis plate 40 upwards. The lower end of the pin 124 is fastened to a lever 126 which is pivotable about the screw 127, a spring 128 tending to pivot the lever 126 such that the pin 124 is pressed against the shoulder 137.
At its free end, the lever 126 is provided with a projection 129 which menarbeiten together with a tooth 130 on an arm 131. The arm 131 is pivotably mounted on the chassis plate by means of the screw 132.
The arm 131 is connected via a link 133 to an angle lever 134 which can be pivoted about the screw 13.5 and is connected to a projection 136. The arm 118 (FIG. 5) cooperates with the projection 136. The arm 118 has the shape of a shell open to the front and at the top (FIG. 5), the upwardly open part of which lies on the underside of the chassis plate and the projection 136 projects into the interior thereof.
The edge 141 of the arm 118 ensures that the tonearm takes the projection 136 with it during the last part of its outward movement, whereby the lever 134 is pivoted about the screw 135 in a clockwise direction.
The lever 134 moves the arm 131 via the link 133, whereby the tooth 130 is displaced into the projection 129 and the lever 126 is locked in a position in which the pin 124 is in. Engage with the shoulder 137 (FIG. 2) and locks the lever 120 in the position shown in FIG.
The mode of operation of the speaking machine described when changing records is as follows: It is assumed that a record rests on the turntable 10 and is played. The tonearm 99 moves towards the center of the record, following the needle running in the spiral-shaped sound track of the record, whereby the arm 118 is also pivoted,
so that its outer edge 141 ′ approaches the projection 136. In. the part of the track with a greater pitch located at the end of the sound track of each disc, the arm 118 will come into contact with the projection 136, whereby this projection is moved and thus the lever 134 (FIG. 3) is pivoted counterclockwise.
The moving link 133 pivots the arm 131 so that the tooth 130 moves away from the shoulder 129. Now the lever 120 (FIG. 2) can execute a pivoting movement under the influence of the spring 138, which is stronger than the spring 128, until it strikes against a pin 139 in the chassis plate. At the same time, the action of the shoulder 137 on the pin 124 turns the arm 126 clockwise against the action of the spring 128,
(Fig. 3) pivoted.
When the lever 120 is pivoted counterclockwise under the influence of the spring 138, its inclined gante 140 pushes against the pin 72, whereby the control disk 42 is given an angular momentum in the counterclockwise direction. The circumference of the control disk therefore comes into contact with the rotating G ummi roller 41, wherein the control disk begins to rotate.
The pin 86 located in the part 51 of the groove on the upper side of the control disk 42 pivots the lever 85 at the beginning of the rotation of the control disk, which pivots the angle lever 90 via the tie rod 89, which in turn connects the tone arm 99 with the by means of the pin 96 Pickup lifts off the turntable.
As the control disk continues to rotate, the inner gante of the enlarged part 104 of the groove 103, 104, 105 and 106 on the underside of the control disk abuts against the pin 113 on the lever arm 114, swivels it around the pivot point 115 and adjusts the arm via the link 116 118
whereby the swing-out ken of the tonearm 99 on the circumference of the turntable 10 is also effected. The groove part 50 and then the part 51 come into engagement with the pin 47 and pivot the lever 45,
which by means of the rod 31 and the lever 28 moves the record pusher 26 first radially outwards with respect to the lowest disc of the disc stack and then inwards again, this disc being pushed away from the shoulder 13 and falling onto the turntable.
When the pin 72 hits the back of the lever arm 150, it pivots the lever 69 against the action of the spring 71 in the. Clockwise. At the point in time at which the pin comes into contact with the inclined surface of the lever 150, the recess 149 also reaches the drive roller 41.
The lever 69 can now turn back, with the inclined surface 150 acting on the pin 72 and giving it and thus the control disk an impulse so that the roller 41 again runs onto the circumference of the control disk and drives it again.
Assume first that the bottom plate of the plate stack is a small plate. This plate lies with its edge on the feeler pin 148 and keeps the same depressed. During the first movement of the plate pusher, to the left in FIG. 2, the feeler pin 148 will get outside the circumference of the plate and snap upwards under the influence of the leaf spring 34.
The movement of the plate pusher 26 to the left is ended when the pin 47 has reached the transition point of the groove 50 into the groove 51 which is closest to the center of the control disk, whereupon the lever 45, the rod 31 and the lever 28 move back into their starting position . Here, however, the feeler pin 148 with its stop 33 will move the plate to the right in FIG. 2, the plate, as mentioned, being detached from the shoulder 13 so that it slides down along the guide pin 12 and is in the playing position on the Turntable 10 can move.
It was assumed that the switch tongue 108 was in the position shown in FIG. 3, so that the pin 113, when the control disk 42 rotates, runs into the groove part 105 and, via the arm 114, the tone arm onto the starting groove small plate.
But if the bottom plate in the stack of plates is a large plate, the feeler pin 148 remains in the depressed position even when the plate pusher goes back, since the edge of this plate still rests on the pin 148 in the rearmost end position of the latter.
The consequence of this is that the angle 38, during the forward movement of the plate pusher to the right in FIG. 2, pivots the lever 39 in a clockwise direction; this now pivots the lever 53, which adjusts the pull rod 56 and thus the rod 59 to the right in Fig. Ä, the pin 60 of the rod 59 moves in the slot 61 of the rail 62 radially to the control disk to the outside.
In order to show the two end positions of the parts mentioned more clearly, these parts are shown in FIG. 2 in their position corresponding to a small plate, in FIG. 3, however, in their position corresponding to a large plate.
During the rotation of the control disk, the pin 60 pushes against the flank 119 of the control body 110, whereby the switch tongue 108 is switched so that the groove 106 is the continuation of the groove 103 bil det. This changeover of the switch tongue 108 takes place shortly before the pin 113 leaves the groove 103.
What is achieved here is that the pin 113 runs into the groove 106 and the tonearm 99 is pivoted less far over the turntable and remains in a position which corresponds to the entry track of a large record.
After pivoting the tonearm, the pin 86, controlled by the groove 50, causes the lowering of the pickup in this lead-in track of the disc lying on the turntable.
Towards the end of the rotation of the control disk, the pin 72 comes back to hit the edge 121 of the lever 120 and pivots it, the stop 137 being displaced so that it releases the pin 124 so that the spring 128 the Lever 126 is able to rotate sufficiently far in the counterclockwise direction (FIG. 3) that the tooth 130 can fall behind the stop 129.
The tendency of the tooth 130 to intervene in the stop 129 is achieved by the fact that the edge 141 of the arm 118 cooperates with the projection 136 when the tone arm is pivoted inward. After the tooth 130 has come into engagement with the stop 129, the pin 124 is held in its position and then does not allow a rotation of the lever 120 by the action of the spring 138 until the lever 126 and thus the pin 124 is released . As soon as the recess 152 reaches the rubber roller, the control disc stops. The pin 86 lies in the groove part 51.
When the plate that was placed on the plates, respectively, the last plate of a stack of plates. the only on the set from 13 is placed plate, so first causes the control disc 42 in the described enclosed manner, the lifting of the tonearm from the plate, the swinging of the same over the circumference of the turntable and the return of the platter. Since there is now no plate on the plate pusher 26, the edge strip 65 goes upwards under the action of the spring 66, the arm 68 being in such a position that the lever 75, when it is moved by the pin 72 via the lever 69 and the Rod 74 transmitted movement,
first abuts against the arm 68 and is then pivoted about the point of contact with this. The link 76 in turn swivels the lever 77 counterclockwise, the pin 82 turning the forked arm 83 over; so that the switch 84, which is in the motor circuit, is brought into its switch-off position shown in FIG. 3.
The engine now comes to a standstill in an instant, in which the control disk 42, after half a revolution, with the recess 149 on its circumference is exactly in front of the rubber roller 41.
When the switch 84 is turned on again by hand, the motor starts to rotate again and puts the turntable in order while the control disk 42 is still at a standstill for the time being. The lever 75 is in this position against a shoulder 151, Wes half it can not be pivoted further ge clockwise. The parts 69, 74, 75, 76 and 77 now assume the position shown in FIG. 2 under the action of the spring 71. If a plate or a stack of plates is now placed on the pin 12 again, this plate or the stack of plates presses the edge strip 65 and the arm 68 downward so that the end of the lever 75 can freely pass the arm 68.
When the lever 69 is pivoted through the action of the spring 71, the end 150 of the angle lever comes into contact with the pin 72 and, via the latter, gives the control disk 42 an angular momentum in the direction of the arrow 49 located on the circumference of the control disk, and when the motor is then started, the rubber roller sets the control disk in rotation so that it performs the second half-turn.
First, the disk pusher 26 is moved forward radially with respect to the turntable by the movement imparted by the groove 51 by means of the pin 47, the rod 31 and the lever 28, so that the bottom plate of the stack is free from the shoulder 13 and onto the Platter falls.
The movement of the pin 113 in one of the grooves 105 or 106 (depending on whether the disk conveyed onto the turntable was a small or a large disk) causes the tone arm 99 to swivel in over the arm 114, the pull rod 116 and the arm 118 Infeed track of the plate on the plate.
Finally, the groove 50 adjusts the lever 85 and thus the pull rod 89 and the angle lever 90 by means of the pin 86 so that the free end of the tonearm 99 is lowered onto the record and the needle of the pickup enters the inlet track of the rotating record.
With a subsequent plate change and as long as a plate is still on the paragraph 13, the control disc will always make a full turn.
It can happen that you do not want to play an unsuitable, for example, an excessively worn disk in a disk stack and want to operate the disk changing device in order to replace this disk. To make this possible, the locking lever 126 can be released by hand.
This release takes place by means of a pull rod 158 which is articulated on the angle lever 134 by means of the screw 159 (FIG. 3). The other end of the pull rod carries a button 156 (Fig. 2), which by means of a screw 157 which penetrates a hole 154 in the chassis plate 40, with the train rod 158 is connected.
If you want to change the disk while a disk is being played, the button 156 is moved in the direction of the arrow 153, whereby the lever 134 is pivoted in the counterclockwise direction (FIG. 3) and, with the help of the handlebar 133 and the arm 131 the engagement of the tooth 130 with the stop 129 is triggered. The arm 126 and the pin 124 are then released so that the skewed guide curve 140 of the lever 120 gives the pin 72 and thus the cam disk 42 a start impulse.
