Dispositif pour empêcher le vol d'une canne ou d'un parapluie. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif pour empêcher le vol d'une canne ou d'un parapluie. Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend, d'une part, un crochet pré sentant des moyens permettant de le retenir en un endroît fixe et, d'autre part, des moyens de verrouillage<B>à</B> combinaison, montés sur le manche de la canne ou du pa rapluie dont on veut empêcher le vol, le crochet étant susceptible d'être introduit et retiré d'une fente que présente ledit manche, pour une combinaison déterminée des moyens de verrouillage, tandis que pour toute autre combinaison desdits moyens, le crochet ne peut être retiré du manche lorsqu'il<B>y</B> est introduit.
Le tlessin annexé représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du dispo sitif faisant l'objet de l'invention, ainsi qu'une variante.

Le dispositif représenté comprend, tout d'abord, un crochet<B>1,</B> présentant des moyens permettant de le retenir en un endroit fixe. Comme on le voit en fig. <B>1,</B> ce crochet<B>1</B> est rivé sur une plaquette 2 destinée<B>à</B> être vissée contre une paroi<B>3.</B> Dans la variante de la fig. 2, le crochet<B>1</B> est solidaire d'une chaînette 4 passant autour d'un tuyau<B>5.</B> Ce crochet<B>1</B> est donc maintenu<B>à</B> demeure en un endroit fixe.
Ladite forme d'exécution du dispositif comporte, en outre, des moyens de verrouil lage montés sur le manche<B>6</B> d'une canne ou d'un parapluie dont on veut empêcher le vol. Ces moyens comportent une douille<B>7</B> fixée sur le manche et présentant une fente longi tudinale<B>8</B> communiquant avec une fente correspondante<B>9</B> pratiquée dans le manche, du parapluie.
Le. manche est en outre entouré par deux bagues rotatives<B>10</B> et<B>Il.</B> Chacune des ba gues présente, sur sa face intérieure, une rai nure longitudinale 12 respectivement<B>13,</B> qui, lorsqu'elles sont toutes les deux au droit de la fente<B>9.</B> permettent d'introduire dans celle-ci le crochet<B>1</B> présentant deux parties en saillie 14 et<B>15.</B> Par contre, si les rainures 12 et<B>13</B> ne sont pas toutes les deux au droit de la lente<B>9,</B> les parties en saillie 14 et<B>15</B> viennent buter contre la paroi intérieure des bagues et le crochet ne peut être introduit.
Lorsque les bagues<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> occupent la position permettant l'introduction du crochet <B>1,</B> et que celui-ci est introduit dans la fente <B>9,</B> il suffit alors de tourner l'une ou l'autre des bagues pour que le crochet ne puisse plus être retiré.
Chacune des bagues porte, sur sa face extérieure, une série de lettres, comme on le voit sur les fig. <B>3 à 6.</B> Pour que lesdits moyens soient dans leur position de déver rouillage. il faut qu'une lettre déterminée de chaque bague soit au droit de la fente<B>8.</B> Dans, )l'exemple représenté, il faut que la lettre Ir de la bague<B>10</B> et la lettre B de la bague<B>11</B> soient au droit de la fente<B>8,</B> comme on le voit en fig. <B>3,</B> ou qu'à l'opposé de la fente<B>8</B> se trouvent la lettre<B>E</B> sur la bague<B>10</B> et la lettre H sur la, bague<B>11,</B><U>comme</U> représenté en fig. 4. Pour toute autre combinaison de lettres, le crochet ne pourra être introduit ou retiré de la fente.
Au droit de chaque bague<B>10</B> et<B>11,</B> le manche présente un trou radial<B>16,</B> dans le# quel est introduite une bille<B>17,</B> poussée contre la surface intérieure de la bague par un ressort<B>18.</B>
Chaque, bague présente, en outre, sur sa face intérieure, un nombre de creux<B>19</B> cor respondant au nombre de lettres que présente la bague sur sa face extérieure. La bille<B>17</B> coopère avec ces creux<B>19</B> pour former arrêt <B>à</B> ressort. lorsque chaque lettre passe au droit de la fente<B>8.</B>
Il va sans dire qu'au lieu de lettres, les bagues pourraient présenter d'autres signes, par exemple des chiffres.
