Fig. 3 ist ein Grundriss zu Fig. 2.
Fig. 5 zeigt ein weiteres Ausführungsbei spiel.
Rapier loom with fixed sight thread spools. Looms with free-flying shooters have a control device so that if the shooter has not entered the catcher box, the machine is switched off. This possible shutdown of the machine is determined by the risk of damaging the reed or the fabric when the store stops.
In gripper looms with fixed weft thread bobbins, the weft thread is held in place by at least one edge clamp during the loading stop. This edge clamp must get into the .Schützenbahn in order to be able to grasp the inserted thread. In order to prevent the edge clamp from colliding with the shooter, the movement of the edge clamp takes place a little later than the latest possible entry of the shooter into the interception box.
Normally, a control device is still switched on and set so that if the shooter has penetrated the catcher too late or not completely, the machine is brought to a standstill before the edge clamp can come into contact with the shooter. The shutdown of the loom thus requires a certain amount of time, which makes a corresponding adjustment of the control device necessary.
The available running time of the protection is - at a given speed of the web chair - thereby shortened accordingly.
The invention relates to a gripper loom with fixed weft thread bobbins, in which the weft thread is held at its end by at least one edge clamp that moves back and forth after it has been inserted into the shed and before it is struck by the reed Means are provided which, on the one hand, when the weft is inserted properly, press the edge clamp against a stop that participates in the back and forth movement of the edge clamp,
while, on the other hand, when the clamping point of the edge clamp is prevented from moving forward, they allow the edge clamp to be lifted off the abovementioned stop. The means which press the edge clamp against the stop can consist of a spring. The spring can act in the direction of reciprocation of the edge clamp.
Some embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically in the drawing.
1 shows a first and FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment in elevation.
FIG. 3 is a plan view of FIG. 2.
Fig. 4 shows the position of the edge clamp when the shooter does not enter the catcher box properly.
Fig. 5 shows another Ausführungsbei game.
According to Fig. 1 is on the foot part 1 'of the edge clamp 1 of the lower jaw part 2 rotatably held on the pin 3 firmly connected to the foot part 1', its clamping surface being pressed by a spring 4 against the clamping surface at the foot of the foot part 1 ' . The foot part 1 'and thus the entire edge clamp 1 is pivotably mounted on the drive rod 5 by means of the pin 6. The drive rod 5 moves essentially in the direction of its longitudinal axis back and forth. The weft thread 11 is shown in its entry position and has been entered by the shooter 12 in the subject.
The clamping point of the edge clamp 1 is moved in the direction of the arrow 10 until it has reached the insertion position of the weft thread 11. By the action of a control member (not shown) on the cam 2 'of the jaw part 2, the clamp is opened so that the weft thread 11 is inserted smoothly between the jaw part 2 and the foot part 1'. By appropriate control of the cam 2 ', the clamp is then closed under the action of the spring 4 and the weft thread 11 is held thereby,
before the edge clamp 1 comes back through the drive rod 5 from the insertion position of the weft thread 11 into the drawn rest position (weft thread here denoted by 11 '). On the drive rod 5, an arm 7 with the stop T, which comes into contact with a stop 8 'of the extension 8 of the foot part 1', is provided. At the end of the extension 8 a spring 9 is provided which is in communication with the arm 7 of the drive rod 5 in We.
The position of the pivot axis 6 is selected such that when the spring force of the spring 9 is overcome, the clamping point moves in the direction of the drive movement 10 of the edge clamp.
The mode of operation of the device described is as follows: the drive rod 5 performs a reciprocating movement in the direction of its longitudinal axis and takes the edge clamp 1 with it. The spring 9 is so strong that when the weft is properly inserted, the stop 8 'of the extension 8 of the edge clamp 1 always presses against the stop 7', which takes part in the movement of the edge clamp to detect the weft thread 11 entered. Is there any disturbance such as
B. a not completely entered in the safety lock .Schützen, the clamping point in its forward movement prevents ver, the spring 9 is tensioned, the stops 8 'and 7 "driven apart, whereby the sensitive points of the foot part 1' and the jaw part 2 of the edge Terminal 1 yield and not be damaged.
According to Fig. 2, the edge clamp 1 with the foot part 1 'and the clamping jaw part 2 in the entry position of the weft thread 11 entered by the shooter 12 in the compartment formed by the Keafäden 15 has arrived. The formation of the subject is achieved by the shafts 16 with the Lit zen 17 lying therein, through the loops 18 of which the warp threads 15 are guided. By a non-ge, controlled organ, the cam 2 'is now taken out of the area of action of the end of the clamping jaw part 2 facing away from the clamping point.
Since the spring 4 is in operative connection with the foot part 1 'and the clamping jaw part 2 of the edge clamp 1, the clamp is closed and the weft thread 11' is held between the foot part 1 'and the clamping jaw part 2. Then the edge clamp 1, which is pivotally connected to the drive rod 5 by means of the bolt 6, is brought back by the driven drive rod 5 in the dashed-dotted position, which is referred to as the rest position. In this rest position, the weft thread 11 'is wrapped into the fabric. The temple 40 with the spoon 41 holds the tissue in the width direction in a taut position.
On the extension 8 of the foot part 1 'of the edge clamp 1, a stop 8' is seen, which interacts with the stop 7, which is seated in the drive rod 5 in the form of a pin. If the weft insertion is correct, the stop pin 7 is always pressed against the stop 8 'by the torsion spring 9 sitting on it.
In the plan according to FIG. 3, part of the fabric with the bed threads 15 and the weft threads 11 'is shown. The edge clamp I. is in the rest position, i. H. During this time, the last inserted weft thread 11 'is wrapped in the fabric by the reed 20, whereby it is held by the clamping point of the edge clamp 1 in the tension taken over from the weft entry.
4 shows the position of the edge clamp when the shooter 12 does not enter the catch box 21 properly. Because the edge clamp 1 is resiliently held by means of the pivot pin 6 on the drive rod 5 and by the gate spring 9, the edge clamp 1 becomes when pushing their terminal point on the, shooters 12 pivoted; where their stop 8 'against the We effect of the spring 9 from the stop 7 stands out. This prevents the edge clamp from being damaged.
The loom is then turned off by a known shuttle guard device.
According to Fig. 5, the edge clamp 1 is designed without an extension 8, as shown in FIG. The drive rod 5 is provided with an extension 23 which carries a stop 24. The edge clamp 1 interacts with the stop 24 opposite side of the back 25 with this stop 24 together. The edge clamp 1 is pivotably connected to the drive rod 5 by the screw 6.
The spring 9, which is simultaneously mounted and fastened on this screw 6, acts on the edge clamp 1 in such a way that, when the weft is properly inserted, the back 25 of the edge clamp 1 is always pressed against the stop 24; it is dimensioned so strong that it overcomes all inertial forces caused by the movement and the mass of the edge clamp 1. The particular advantage of this edge clamp 1 is that if any disturbance, such.
B. by a not fully constantly entered .Schüt zen, the movement of the clamping point of the edge clamp 1 is prevented (see z. B. Fig. 4), mainly the impact force is used to tension the spring 9, while the acceleration forces due to the small mass of the edge clamp 1 are kept small, whereby a substantial protection of the sensitive clamping point of the foot part 1 'and clamp part 2 can be achieved.
With the device described, the edge clamp is secured against breakage without the. Since the performance of the loom can be increased accordingly compared to the known rapier loom mentioned at the beginning of the description.
