Door direction for the production of synthetic resin premixes.
In the German patent no. 616178 and the additional patent no. 6352Si7 7 are methods for the production of plastic. Proposed press mixes, which aim to press the mixture of starting materials while being heated through nozzles, the pressed material still completely or largely containing the resin in the resol state of pressing through.
The discharge material can be pressed through the nozzles, as described there, with the aid of a punch or with the aid of a screw.
They are for making plastic bla. ssen Drucksehnaeeken have been proposed, their. The jacket is partly cooled and partly heated, and compression tendons are also proposed for making rubber malleable, which can be cooled or heated in order to regulate the temperatures. If the softening temperature seems too low, introduce z. B. from steam m the pressure screw heating or, if the temperature was too high, a cooling of the pressure screw and thus the entire device and the goods can be brought about by introducing cooling water.
The present invention relates to a device for producing synthetic resin premixes by forcing through a mixture of hardenable synthetic resins and fillers or. of mixtures containing the constituents required for the formation of hardenable synthetic resins, together with hardening agents in a single nozzle size. ntel amgeoTdneten pressure screw, whereby at least the pressure screw is heated.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the heated pressure screw to create a heating of the mixture increasing in the direction of the outlet opening of the nozzle at the feed end has gone with a bore. for the purpose of being able to introduce a coolant into the screw.
The attached drawing shows schematically an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
A pressure screw 1 acts in a correspondingly shaped nozzle jacket 2, which can be heated and also cooled in a manner known per se. z. B. thereby. that it is provided with a heating coil. or by the fact that channels are provided in the nozzle jacket, through which a heating medium or coolant is passed. The pressure screw has a bore 3 at the feed end of the nozzle and a bore 4 at the outlet end of the nozzle. In the bore 3 a cooling liquid, for. B. water. introduced, while heating takes place with the aid of the bore 4, e.g. B. by introducing steam or durci electric radiators.
This can also be done. Because the nozzle jacket is heated unevenly or partly cooled. z. B. that he is only on the Au. the end of the dispute is pickled. Under certain circumstances, it is also possible to omit the heating of the nozzle jacket.
The temperature control of the Gesamtvor direction can then be carried out in a simple manner, for. B. can be achieved by a strong cooling of the screw with the help of the bore 3, the temperature in the charging end and by stronger heating at the outlet end. z. B. with the help of the bore 4 of the tendon, a particularly high temperature in the exit end.
The warming up of the cold or preheated material already takes place in the feeding end of the tendon. The mass is gradually and evenly warmed up until a melting resin stops and there! Then, due to the relative movement within the mold, the filler particles are well enveloped with the resin and, if necessary, the filler can penetrate. off-particles.
Such even heating and thorough heating of the introduced mass is of crucial importance for the quality of the end result. and it is still to be noted here. that the heating of the mass in a pickled nozzle is still dependent on the speed of the passage of the mass through the prēd se. This passage speed depends on the rotational speed of the screw and on the level of the counter pressure. which is created when the mass emerges through the outlet opening.
The body of the snow is chosen in a manner known per se. that it is cylindrical at the loading end while it is designed to be conical at the outlet end.
The Schneekenk¯rper can also be cylindrical throughout, with. as you can see, the aisle height of the Schneekengnge after the exit is too small -irrl.
Ator of the charging opening 6 is a ventilation channel 5 through which the blown air can escape.
At the outlet end, the snow body is cylindrical, namely the end 7 of the screw body is surrounded by a part of the nozzle jacket 8, which is also cylindrical on the inside. By inserting rings 9, the outlet zone can be lengthened. B. rings are attached that enlarge or reduce the annulus between tween the end part 7 of the screw body and the ring.
In this way, the outlet pressure and you can regulate the throughput speed.
In general, care must be taken with the press mixes used. that the resin is in the resole state; d. H. has not gone significantly into resit. With the device described, when the mass is heated evenly, particular care must be taken to avoid an extensive reaction, and it is therefore proposed to ensure that the mass emerging from the nozzle cools down quickly z. B. can thereby be accomplished. that air is inflated, or expediently by that? the exit of the mass is carried out in a room under vacuum.
The volatile constituents evaporate quickly and completely. And if it is already desired in itself, and the evaporation heat required for this, rapid cooling and stopping of the reaction are produced.
Using the device described has the advantage that the heating can be regulated well. Since the flow rate of the mass can also be regulated, this is possible. to regulate the fluidity of the premix produced. By increasing or slowing the speed with constant heating of the nozzle, the condensation and thus the fluidity can be regulated or by increasing or decreasing the temperature or the temperature gradient with constant flow rate or by changing both measures.
