Description
Bowdenzug.
Bowden cable. The present invention is a Bowden cable. In order to facilitate the sliding of the pull wire in its guide sheath and to reduce the risk of the wire tearing, a lubrication device is provided on the Bowden cable according to the invention, which expediently has at least one sleeve provided with a closable lubrication opening.
In the accompanying drawings, exemplary embodiments of the subject invention are shown. It shows: FIG. 1 a part of a Bowden cable, partly in view, partly in section on a larger scale, FIG. 2 a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, FIGS. 3 and 4 a variant in view and FIG in section along the line IV-IV, FIG. 5, a further embodiment in view.
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has, in a known manner, the wire pull 1 lying in a guide sleeve 2 and mounted in the same longitudinally displaceable manner. To reduce the friction and the risk of tearing the wire, a lubricant is introduced between the latter and the sheath 2. For this purpose, the sleeve 2 is interrupted at certain intervals, and sleeves 3 are inserted into the resulting gaps. The ends of the sheath sections are let into the sleeves 3 and fastened in some way. The wire pull 1 is ge through a hole 4 of the sleeve 3 leads.
In the bore 4 opens from the outside a lubrication opening 5, through which the lubricant is introduced in a known manner. The sleeve 3 is designed as a holder in such a way that it can be attached by means of a clamp 6 and screw 7, for example. B. can be firmly connected to the frame tube R of a bicycle frame.
Fig. 3 and 4 show a lubricating sleeve 10 which is installed at a suitable point in the Bowden cable and which is not connected to the bicycle frame. The lubricant opening 5 is normally covered by a resilient and rotating ble ring 11, so that no loss of lubricant. arises. By turning the non-closed ring 11, the lubrication opening 5 can be exposed.
In the case of bicycles, the Bowden cables coming from the hand levers and leading to the brakes are often brought together for a short distance in front of your steering tube. At this point, the lubrication device shown in FIG. 5 is expediently built into the Bowden cable, according to which two sleeves 14 are connected to one another by a web 16. The lubrication openings are preferably covered by means of a rotatable cover 17 which simultaneously covers both lubrication holes 5 respectively. releases. Otherwise, the sleeves 14 are constructed in the same way as the sleeve 10.
Of course, the lubrication opening 5 can also be covered in the case of the sleeve 3. The means for closing the openings 5 can also be designed differently than shown. It is clear that the lubricating device can be used with any Bowden cable that is not used on a bicycle.
